Baby's attention

"I am pregnant" Jennifer smiled widely, her smile reached her ears, she looked down at her belly again and her heart leaped with joy.
"The doctor said he would be here in a few seconds" the woman smiled at her, she was so pleased with the news that her new colleague was pregnant.
It was a thing of joy or so they felt.
"Was it because of the pregnancy I fainted?" Jennifer questioned, touching and rubbing her belly.
"The doctor said it might be the stress and symptoms of the pregnancy combined that must have caused you to become unconscious, it isn't something bad, so don't fret" She reassured her.
Jennifer let out a loud sigh and say with the assistance of the woman "I still feel a bit drowsy"
"It's natural to feel dizzy and nauseous, I passed through those symptoms too, they are all the signs of pregnancy, I am sure your husband would be happy"
Jennifer slightly frowned when she thought about Andrew, he had always talked about children even though she never liked the idea of bringing children into a poverty-stricken home to suffer, she never opposed it or argued with him, and she didn't even use protection during the time they had sex, it was raw and she knew this baby belonged to know one else but Andrew, she always used protection when it came to Dimitri, therefore she was sure of the paternity of her child.
"Are you still with your husband?" the inquisitive woman questioned, Jennifer, furrowed her brows and replied "He left me for his mistress and got married to her but I know I would be able to cope with my baby, with or without him"
She started in pity, anyone would have felt sorry for Jennifer but it would have turned to abhorrence if they knew the truth about her false tale.
"He's such a bad person, you are beautiful, how could he leave you?"
"Men are scumbags!" the woman added.
The doctor walked, therefore interrupting their conversation "How are you?" the brown-haired doctor asked her.
"I feel dizzy but that's all for it" Jennifer replied, smiling.
"It's just a late symptom of the pregnancy, you are three months pregnant," the doctor said. Jennifer almost squealed in joy but held back.
"Thanks, doctor"
"You are welcome, you should eat right and avoid any form of stress" He instructed.
Jennifer nodded in affirmative.
"Excuse me" He slightly bowed his head and exited the room.
"Goodness, phew!"
The woman gave her a questioning look.
"I need to find my husband, I might be strong but I can't take care of this baby alone without any support and at this stage, stress could be dangerous for me, please my friend, could you lend me some money?" Jennifer asked cunningly, she was emotionally blackmailing the woman it worked.
" Of course, with pleasure, friend "the ignorant woman giggled.
" Thanks, my friend "
" Andrew, here I come," Jennifer smirked.

Jennifer finally reached the house, she paid the cab driver and walked to the house.
She had used the money her friend had given her, she knocked on the wooden door but no response came.
She knocked harder a couple of times but the silence remained.
"Andrew!" She called and started banging on the door but no one responded.
She placed her on the door handle and twisted it, it was then she noticed the huge padlock on the door.
'That's odd' Jennifer thought and held the padlock.
A woman who was their neighbor, saw her struggling with the lock "Jennifer!" she called her attention.
"Rita" Jennifer smiled at her.
"How are you, Jennifer?" Rita asked, even though they were neighbors they maintained a distance between themselves.
"I'm fine but… err…. Do you know where my husband is? Why is the door locked?"
"You mean Andrew, well he left that beautiful lady who had been living with him for some time now" Rita responded, her words infuriating Jennifer.
Jennifer clenched her fist angrily, not only was she sleeping with Andrew but everyone termed her as beautiful, and from the way Rita was staring at her, she was sure she had watched the news where Andrew ruined her image.
"I know but where did they go?" Jennifer probed further while faking a steady smile.
"A-actually, they told me but I was instructed not to tell anyone"
'Stupid bitch!' Jennifer cursed inwardly.
"Rita, you are a woman just like me…"
There she goes with her emotional blackmail!
"Andrew impregnated me, I have to find him, I can't support my child alone please help me" Jennifer formed a pitiful face just to earn the woman's sympathy.
"Fine, I will tell you"
Jennifer broke into a wide smile as she carefully listened to the address given by Rita.

Jennifer reached the gigantic mansion, her mouth agape in shock, Dimitri's mansion was nothing close to the castle in front of her.
From the time she saw the limousine, she knew her ex-husband was rich, but she never expected it like this.
'You have missed your chance Jennifer' Her subconscious mind said but she waved it off.
'I haven't lost anything' she retorted and walked to the gate of the mansion, guards were surrounding the house, and the security was top-notch.
Jennifer's bones melted in her skin but she mustered courage and walked to one of the guards.

"Good… morning" She stuttered.
The black-dressed man stared at her through his dark glasses, "And who are you?"
"I am Andrew's wife"
"What?, Mrs. Pearl is the only woman we recognize as our Boss's wife" He sneered at her.
"Well, I don't care what you say, I want to see him, I have something important to say to him, tell him my name is Jennifer…"
"The boss has specifically told us not to let you anywhere close to his family, so please leave ma'am" He cut her off.
"You have no right to talk to me in this manner!" Jennifer snapped and glared at him.
"My patience is getting thinner by the second, leave ma'am, so I won't make you" the guard argued, frowning heavily.
Jennifer attempted to run to the gate but he caught her by the waist and took her away.
"Let me see Andrew!!!" Jennifer screamed but his huge hands were wrapped tightly around her waist.
"Let go of me!"

Jennifer reached home in frustration, she removed her black jacket and threw it on the bed.
"Fuck!" She cursed and palmed her face, she screamed for a while and suddenly had a nasty idea.
"That's it!" She snapped her fingers and brought out her phone from her back.
She had many viewers on her social media page, so she quickly went to her page and decided to go live.
She messed up her hair a bit and even added some makeup to make her look more depressed and neglected. She positioned herself on the bed and put the phone in front of her, she added a tear stick to her eyes.
She started the video.
"Good morning guys, I'm Jennifer Huston, My husband left me for another woman, I know you guys must have heard otherwise but none of that is true, I am presently pregnant with his baby and he has the guts to be sleeping with other women, my husband, Andrew Jones, needs to come to take responsibility for my pregnancy, he kicked me out his house but I am calling him out here to take over his responsibility as the father of our unborn child "Jennifer cried loudly, her face was terrifying, her live video was already had 3k views in less than a minute.
" Andrew Jones, take responsibility for your baby, I won't have an abortion! "
She stopped the live video and burst into laughter, tears were still dropping from her eyes but it was because of the tear stick.
"This baby will bring us back together, you will have no choice but to leave that bitch" Jennifer laughed and caressed her belly.
