Jennifer blinked multiple times, it was as if her head had just been turned upside down, she cried her eyes out yesterday, she had to stay in a cheap hotel so she could save the rest of her money for feeding and other needs, she was still happy she had a job at least she would be able to receive her salary and take care of herself but now the worst had happened, her former expectations have just been shattered, Pearl, as she heard Andrew call her, was her new boss, how could this possibly happen? does this mean that Andrew purchased the company or…
"You are late, old hag" Pearl smirked, that lopsided smirk on her lips felt intimidating, she looked more beautiful, her glassy ocean blue eyes scorched at Jennifer, she looked like a real Ceo, she wore a lavender colored blazer and a white turtleneck long sleeve inside and lavender trousers, her makeup was beyond perfect, it was radiating, her long hair was let down and well trimmed, the brown color of her hair shone, it covered the sides of her face, no strand flared beyond their position, she got the position so well. She was different from the old Pearl.
"How is this possible?" Jennifer blurted out though it was just a strain of her thoughts it came out anyways "How could someone as cheap as you be the Ceo of this company?" She thundered.
Pearl raised her voice authoritatively "Tsk, … I am your boss, remember that, old hag, so you have to learn some manners and talk to me respectfully or you stand the chance of losing your job!"
Jennifer couldn't deny that fact, fate had played a dirty trick on her, she had to work for her ex-husband's new wife who is ultimately her worst enemy, what worse things can fate have installed for her?
Jennifer remained silent, she wanted to unleash her savage attitude and smack the smirk off Pearl's face but she had to keep her cool, so she could get her revenge.
"That's more like it old hag, let me answer your question"
{Flash back}
After freshening up and changing into her new pajamas, Pearl slept on her bed as sleep slowly took her away, her eyes were almost closed when she heard her name.
"Pearl"
Pearl thought it was one of her dreams but she heard it too loudly for it to be a mere dream or vision.
"Pearl"
The voice came again and it was closer this time "Pearl!" it grew much louder and Pearl screamed.
"Aah!" Pearl screamed from her lungs, she sat up and winced.
Andrew was stunned by her reaction but couldn't blame her anyways, he said softly "It's me, Andrew" Andrew's smiled and she relaxed a bit her eyes constricted and the shock on her face slowly vanished "I am sorry for disturbing your sleep but I have a task for you"
Pearl patted her chest and sighed.
"What is it?" Pearl whispered and moved closer to him.
Andrew spoke cautiously so he wouldn't look vindictive. "A-actually, I need you to take over one of my companies and become the new Ceo there and I need you to deal with Jennifer…"
Pearl's eyes were saddened, he was still in love with his ex-wife which is why he wants revenge on her "Okay, anything for you… I mean the contract"
Andrew hated it when she always had to mention the contract in everything, he wanted to kiss her before leaving but he simply smiled and left.
"Not even a kiss" Pearl pouted and threw herself back on the bed.
"Jerk!"
{End of flashback}
Pearl only told her what she needed to know.
"So I am your new Boss and unfortunately you have to be demoted as a cleaner because you don't have enough capabilities and skills for this job" Pearl glared at her.
"What!, I am a graduate-"
"You have no experience in your field, therefore you don't deserve the position, since you are an amateur, a job as a cleaner would perfectly suit you and… err…start with my toilet" Pearl cut her off and mocked her.
Tears welled up in Jennifer's eyes but she had swallowed them "Yes"
Pearl interjected"Yes Ma'am"
Jennifer's face squeezed into a frown, her ego was hurt terribly "Y-y…yes… Ma…. am"
"Shuu, get to work" Pearl chased her like a fly.

After Jennifer worked for the whole day, cleaning the toilets and floors, she was given the toughest job. All her former colleagues were laughing at her, some pitied her but she took their sympathy as mockery. The humiliation was terrible. Jennifer changed from her new uniform and went to Pearl's office.
"Old hag"
"Stop calling me that!" Jennifer shunned but it made Pearl only smile.
Pearl brought out an envelope and flung it toward Jennifer.
Jennifer picked it up from the floor slowly and checked the content, her eyes widened as she read it.
"You are fired, OLD HAG!"

Pearl left the office, she enjoyed her new job, her assistant helped her a lot, and sand he enjoyed every bit of it especially making Jennifer suffer, she deserved it for making Andrew suffer and it was a pity he still had feelings for her.
Pearl walked into the hospital and met Ivan.
"Doctor" Pearl smiled and they hugged briefly.
"How are you, Pearl?"
Pearl smiled "I am fine but how is my sister?"
"She has been doing fine but it's just that she is still in a coma" Ivan replied and Pearl sighed.
"But she's fine, that's what matters, can I see her?"
"Yes, come with me" Ivan replied and she walked behind him. "How is my friend, I hope you are feeding him well?"
Pearl laughed and an idea popped into her head.

Pearl reached home after buying things from the supermarket, the maids left with Felix because that was what Andrew wanted, he needed his privacy.
Pearl entered the kitchen and started cooking, she put the ingredients into the pot and decided to take a short shower and then come back.
Pearl left the food and completely forgot about it, Andrew came back from work not to stay for long though, he entered the sitting room and there was smoke emanating from the kitchen. Instead of checking it, he went to Pearl's room.
"Pearl" He coughed and barged in.
Pearl turned to him and her towel mistakenly slipped off her body, Andrew went numb as his eyes laid on her sexy, nude body.
