A turquoise crystal
The royal gown enveloped Lilith's figure beautifully, and she was resplendent in its allure. This was the first time she wore such an outfit. The violet shade of the gown boasted her breathtaking figure. The bodice fitted Lilith with perfection and embraced her curves with elegance. From the waistline, the gown cascaded in luxurious folds, creating a voluminous skirt that pooled gracefully around Lilith's feet.
The off-shoulder neckline showed Lilith's slender collarbones. It was embellished with indicate pearls and sparking crystals, thus bringing attention to her face entirely. Her loose hair covered her waist completely. The few curls of her hair covered the temples of her forehead on both sides.
Zoey brightly smiled to see Lilith in that outfit. She was oozing with royalty and grace. Because of the light makeup, her beauty had enhanced more.
"His Majesty will not able to take his eyes off Miss Lilith," Zoey said, showering Lilith with compliments.
However, Lilith did not respond to her compliments. She wondered why Apollyon wanted to see her in his chamber. That appeared odd and even intimidating. Who knew what was in the devil's mind? Lilith did not carry an ounce of trust in him.
"Miss Lilith, we should not delay any longer and leave for His Majesty's chamber," Zoey asserted. Lilith did not want to go, but she could not refuse either. Apollyon's threats were still lingering in her mind. He might not punish her for being adamant, but Zeoy might get punished for no reason.
Lilith picked up her gown a little to make sure she could walk comfortably. As she stepped out of the door with Zoey, her gaze fell on Karin, who seemed to be waiting for her.
"I will escort Miss Lilith," Karin said after a few seconds as he was also awestruck with Lilith's beauty.
"Why can't Zoey accompany me?" Lilith asked.
"My Lord ordered me to bring Miss Lilith only," Karin replied.
Lilith told Zoey she should rest as she did a lot of work and thanked her for being around her. Karin chuckled to hear Lilith's words and shortly led her way to Apollyon's chamber. They soon arrived there. Lilith's eyes were glued to the entrance to the chamber ornated with double doors, which were embellished with motifs. Two bodyguards were guarding the chamber when Karin asked Lilith to go in.
Lilith hummed in response and stepped forward. Every step she took, increased her heart rate because of the nervousness. As she walked through the door and set foot on the red carpet, her eyes landed on the tapestries on the wall and other paintings. Finally, she reached the drawing room where a grand chandelier had illuminated the entire space well.
Lilith's eyes wandered around as she did not see Apollyon. Waiting for him for several minutes, Lilith decided to venture into the other rooms in the grand chamber. She stopped outside a room whose door was slightly opened. Lilith pushed the door lightly before stepping inside.
"Why is it so dark here?" Lilith thought and found only the moonlight near the window, which brought a little visibility.
Lilith jumped from her place when the door suddenly shut and she promptly turned around.
In front of her, Apollyon was standing with a candlestand in his solid grasp. A smile tugged across his face as he checked out Lilith from head to toe.
"So pretty," Apollyon complimented her. Lilith tightly grabbed the fabric of her gown, realizing she was trapped now.
"Don't be nervous, Love," Apollyon said as he took another step toward her before walking past her. He settled the candlestand on the circular table when Lilith suggested to him that they could sit in the drawing room.
Before she could turn to look at Apollyon to hear her response, he approached her and stood close to her. His hands rested gently on her bare shoulders, which brought goosebumps to her body. She tried to move away when he urged Lilith to stay at her place.
"I have a present for you on your twentieth birthday. Stay still," Apollyon whispered in her ear.
"I do not want any present," Lilith stated.
"Don't refuse it. I do not wish to use power to make you steady at a place," Apollyon asserted and slowly withdrew his hands from her shoulders.
Lilith heard him taking steps back when after a few seconds, she again found him behind her. Apollyon pushed her soft hair to the front, exposing her back to her. He made Lilith wear a pendant with turquoise crystal in its center. When Lilith touched it, she found the crystal shimmer and it somewhat astonished her too.
Lilith did not know what to say, so she remained silent. She curled her fingers when Apollyon nuzzled against her hair, inhaling the scent of her hair.
Lilith immediately stepped ahead and turned around to face him. "Should I leave?" she asked him.
"No," Apollyon replied.
"I am tired and sleepy," Lilith stated.
"You cannot sleep empty stomach," Apollyon answered.
"I am not hungry. I ate enough in the lunch," Lilith asserted. Her stomach growled at the worst time, and she bit her bottom lip while furrowing her brows together.
Apollyon ended up smiling and pulled out a chair around the table. "Have a seat, Lilith," he softly said.
Lilith dragged her feet ahead and sat on the chair. Apollyon asked her to wait for him and headed out of the room.
Lilith's eyes wandered around again, and found the king-sized bed, with thin silk curtains hanging down from the ceiling. She tapped her heel on the rug beneath her and glanced at the door when Apollyon entered.
"The servants are bringing the meals," Apollyon informed her as he settled on the chair across from Lilith.
"You look gorgeous, especially in this gown. It was made for you only," Apollyon asserted.
Lilith lifted her eyes to gaze at him. "You can never win my heart. No matter how much effort you make for me," she pronounced.
A chuckle escaped Apollyon's mouth. "We will see Lilith," he said with a confident smirk.
