Reason for your awakening

Jareth took the note from Apollyon and read the letters. "It is an ancient text used by sorcerers," he recognized the text as soon as he saw it.
"What does it say?" Apollyon asked.
"Heavy Rain," Jareth replied.
"What does it mean?" Ragnar furrowed his brows together as he couldn't get the meaning. "Heavy rain does signify the loss and grief," Apollyon replied.
"Absolutely right," Jareth agreed. "The sorcerers are warning us. We need to find them out before they make another move. Most importantly, they already knew where Apollyon and Lilith were heading," he muttered.
"That means they can track our movements," Apollyon affirmed. "Sorcerers have many abilities along with far visions," he stated.
"They will attack you through Lilith. She is a human, the reason for your awakening. They may harm her," Jareth stated and again advised Apollyon to stay detached from her.
"You again started, Jareth," Apollyon muttered.
"I am stating the fact," Jareth opined. "Everyone is after Lilith, including the sorcerers who are humans. Don't you think something is going on? We need to find out before they create trouble for us," he suggested to Apollyon.
"Because Lilith awakened you, they may know a way to seal you back using her, and send everyone to hell," Jareth pronounced.
Lilith, who was outside the chamber overheard their entire conversation. Earlier when Apollyon sent her away with Karin instead of going with her, she knew something was wrong. So, she followed them and urged Karin not to stop her.
She took a few steps back before walking out silently. Karin saw her and told her they should head back to the chamber as soon as possible.
"I need to go to the library, Karin. If Apollyon asks about me, then you should tell him where I am," Lilith asserted and left for the library.
She quickly searched for the ancient textbooks, which were present in the last section of the library. Thousands of books were available in that section, covered in dust, making it difficult for her to decide where to start.
"Greetings to Your Majesty, I am the head librarian here, Vernon," he introduced himself and asked her what she was looking for.
Lilith gazed at him. "Can the Head Librarian tell me about the ancient textbooks on sorcery and magical elements?" she asked.
Vernon's brows creased as he tried to think. "There are a few books on sorcery. However, Your Majesty, it may take time for me to search all such books," he humbly replied.
"I'll be happy if the Head Librarian provides me with those books by this evening," Lilith stated.
Vernon thanked Lilith for giving him time.
"Is the Head Librarian a human? Pardon me for asking this because it is hard to differentiate between humans and the devils sometimes," Lilith proclaimed.
"I am a devil, Your Majesty," Vernon replied.
Lilith nodded her head. "Yesterday, I came here, but I didn't find the Head Librarian here," she stated.
"Forgive me for my absence. I had gone outside with my fellows," Vernon replied.
"I see," Lilith murmured. "I will wait for the textbooks," she said and left the library.
"The sorcerers must be aware of the blood bond. They must be scheming something vicious in their heads," Lilith mumbled. She concernedly knitted her brows together.
Reaching the chamber, she settled on the chaise and sighed. "Grief and Loss," she murmured as she recalled the whimpers of the red deer. "They didn't have to kill an innocent animal for this," her eyes turned teary.
"Lilith, are you alright?" Elena asked as she entered the chamber. "I heard something happened outside," she asserted while Lilith lifted her head to look at Elena.
"Don't stand up," Elena said and sat across from Lilith. "I heard you were in the library, so I decided to come here," she stated.
"Yes, I was. I heard their conversation," Lilith replied. "I am the reason for Apollyon's awakening, so I will also become the reason for his downfall perhaps," she deduced.
"Well, no one knows what will happen in the future," Elena replied.
"The sorcerers sealed Apollyon using forbidden magic, in turn, all the other devils were permanently thrown to the underworld. Why did that all happen? Why does it has to be me? There must be a reason behind this," Lilith proclaimed.
"Are you concerned for Apollyon?" Elena inquired.
"Yes, I am," Lilith admitted. "I want to protect him, the way he protected me. I misunderstood him for ten years and always saw him as my enemy. But there are other dark forces present, which I was unaware of," she explained to Elena.
"I am impressed with your thoughts, Elena. You changed your thoughts toward my brother so soon," Elena stated.
"I also need to know the mystery behind my father's tragic death. Why was he dead that day? He didn't go to the palace according to Apollyon. Then, where was my Father? For some reason, I feel the sorcerers could be the reason too," Lilith asserted, confusion still prevalent in her mind.
"Then, what do you want to do?" Elena asked her.
"I want to end this blood bond between me and Apollyon. You were right. A blood bond isn't only for his affection toward me, but something more is hidden behind it," Lilith declared.
"That's why you went to the library to find the ancient textbooks on sorcery, didn't you?" Elena arched her eyebrow.
"Yes. Apollyon believes the blood bond has nothing to do with sorcery. But it has a deep meaning hidden behind it. Apollyon has lost a lot, yet he never let his good side. I don't wish him to suffee more," Lilith stated.
"Lilith, you are smart. I will provide you with my entire help," Elena asserted, and she asked her not to worry.
Lilith thanked Elena for listening to her. "Humans are also evil when they become greedy and selfish. They also hurt innocents, if needed. I don't wish to see that," Lilith proclaimed.
"Lilith, you have a pious and kind heart. I feel this was the reason why you were the chosen one to pluck the black flower that day," Elena reasoned.
