Who can save me?(warning: slightly erotic)
CHAPTER SIXTEEN
Riven’s POV
It was truly a strange sight.
My eyes, despite me having my emotions in perfect control, began also to pour tears out.
“God damn it woman, stop crying.” I said, wiping the annoying tears that were flooding out of my eyes.
“Stop crying!” I said to Hazel, grabbing her by the shoulders, this only seemed to make her cry more.
It seemed I would have to take more gentle approach to stop her tears.

Hazel’s POV
I looked up at Riven in shock as he became angry then kind then angry again. He was very frustrated by my crying.
"Riven, what are you doing?" I asked, my voice shaking.
"I can’t control my emotions anymore," Riven said, his voice deep and growling. "You need to stop crying and it’s making me feel weak. I am supposed to be the strongest dragon, but here I am, crying like a baby."
"I'm sorry, Riven," I said, still crying. "You didn't mean to break my book, I know. But now my teacher is going to punish me because of it."
I couldn't stop crying. It was just a simple thing, but it had set off a chain reaction that I never could have predicted. Riven had been upset when he heard me crying, and before I knew it, he was crying too. It was a strange sight to behold, the supposedly strongest dragon crying like a baby.
Riven tried to compose himself, ordering me to stop crying and fix the book that he had accidentally broken. But I was angry with him for bullying me, and I refused to do as he asked. This only made him angrier, and he couldn't control his emotions any longer.
With a roar, Riven transformed into a massive dragon, his black scales shining like obsidian in the sunlight. The blue blood flowed through the gaps in his armor, and the thunder and lightning that surrounded him made it seem as if the very sky was shaking. His huge wings cast a shadow over the room and the sharp claws on his feet easily pierced the ground. The blue flame that burned under his slender neck was ready to burst out at any moment.
I was terrified as Riven loomed over me, his pupils constricted with anger and two blue fire snakes writhing under my nose. I was sure he was going to kill me right then and there. I quickly calmed down and stopped crying. Riven finally returned back to his human form.
Riven's anger dissipated, and he turned his back to me, wiping away his tears.
"Fix the book, quickly," he said gruffly.
I knew Riven's true intention, he needed to spy on Christain's future fate so that he can kill him...I refused to help him! Instead, I continued to cry, hoping to make him cry once again. Thus starting an annoying cycle of Riven becoming more and more frustrated by my tears. And so, Riven and I were at an impasse. I continued to cry, and Riven continued to try and force me to fix the book. It was a stand-off that seemed to have no end in sight.
Finally, defeated, Riven called for his loyal servant Maximus.
“Maximus, I need your help. There seems to be a problem with my emotional communication with Hazel here. I can't seem to make her understand that I need her to fix the book. Is there anything you can do to help me?” Riven asked Maximus. Maximus looked me up and down and nodded and smiled to me.
“My lord, perhaps the key is to be kind to Hazel. Stabilize her emotions and make her more willing to help you.” Maximus said to him. Christan didn’t seem to like this answer. Riven grabbed Maximus and led him away in the room. The two began to whisper but I could still hear their conversation.
“Kind? I am a powerful dragon, Maximus. I cannot be seen as weak by being kind to a mere witch.” Riven said.
“My lord, with all due respect, Hazel is not just a witch. She is connected to you, the greatest dragon of the entire world for a reason. Her pain is your pain, her emotions are your emotions. Showing her kindness and understanding may help to improve your relationship and make her more willing to assist you.” Maximus said. At least he understood me, I thought to myself.
“I understand what you are saying, Maximus, but I cannot bring myself to do it. It would make me lose face as a dragon.” Riven said, looking over to me and smiling like nothing was wrong.
“My lord, sometimes it is necessary to put aside pride in order to achieve a greater goal. In this case, it may be worth it to try being kind to Hazel in order to get what you want.” Maximus said.
“I will consider your advice, Maximus. But for now, leave me be. I must figure out how to handle this situation on my own.” Riven said.
“As you wish, my lord. I am here to serve you whenever you need me.” Maximus said.
“Just go now.” Riven said, clearly frustrated with Maximus’s advice.
Maximus, wise and loyal, suggested that Riven try being kind to me, in order to temporarily stabilize my emotions and make me more willing to help him. But Riven, prideful and stubborn, struggled to accept that.
“So, I want to be….nice.” Riven said to me, I raised my eyebrow.
“Nice?” I asked him, he gave me a pained smile.
“Yes, nice.” He said to me, it was clear he had never been nice in his life.
“But isn’t it just so I will help you get what you want?” I asked him. Riven rolled his eyes.
“No, it’s because were linked. I need to keep you in check.” He said to me.
“Sure.” I said sarcastically, grabbing my uniform and beginning to get ready for the day.
“Where are you going?!” Riven said, raising his voice again.
“I am going to class. Is that a problem?” I asked him. Riven was clearly very angry but was trying to keep his composure.
“No, nah. That’s no problem, you just do you.” He said to me, I nearly laughed at his lame attempt to be cool.
“Sounds good.” I said to him.
“Perfect.” He said through gritted teeth.
“And you should go as well, or I may not have the attention to do the thing that you want me to do.”I continued.
Riven's handsome face sank, his voice turning cold, and the corner of his eyes twitched at my words. "Are you threatening me?"
"Yes, I am. What, scared now?"
I realized too late that something was off with his expression, so I quickly shut up, swallowed hard, and lost all my courage, trembling as I looked at him cautiously.
"Riven, your face looks awful..."
Oh no... how scary. I shivered, wanting to escape, but his strong arms tightly encircled me, making me unable to move.
"My Hazel, I should applaud your courage. No one in this world dares to threaten me," Riven said with a dark smirk.
That smile made me shudder all over.
"Don't want to help me, do you?" He lowered his head, his handsome face getting closer to mine, and his hot breath brushing against my face.
I dared not speak or nod.
"Going to class now?" He asked again with a hooked lip, his calm demeanor betraying the hint of anger he felt towards my refusal.
"N-no, you heard wrong." My voice trembled as I cowardly denied what I had just said.
Oh no... how scary. Who can save me?
"Hazel, do you think denying it now will change anything?" His black eyes stared at me like I was prey, leaving me no room to breathe.
His gaze was so terrifying, as if he wanted to swallow me whole. I timidly spoke up, "W-what are you going to do?"
"What am I going to do?" He looked at me, then roughly lifted me onto his shoulder.
"Ah!" His sudden movement made me scream, "Riven, what are you doing?!" I kicked my legs and punched his back.
"Shut up." He yelled sternly, frightening me into stopping everything I was doing.
Riven snorted coldly, carrying me and walking towards the bed.
