Chapter 10

As Emily stepped into the corridor, she saw Bella coming out of her room.

"Where is Matthew?"

"We need to talk." Emily said walking pass her into the room as Bella followed behind closing the door behind her. Emily walked up to the window first to see if Leonard was still there but when she looked they were gone. She figured Bella didn't see them take Matthew away.

"How did it go? Were you able to convince him?" Bella asked.

"Convince him to allow you to continue to sell drugs?" Emily said looking at her with folded arms as Bella eyes widened at her words. "When were you planning on telling me that you were now selling drugs?"

"I was going to tell you but I didn't know how you would take it, now please don't scold me."

"You will go back to your parent house."

"What?"

"I didn't convince him, I was shocked when I found out you are back to using drugs."

"I am not using," Bella yelled. "I am only selling, you and Leonard need to stop accusing me of what I am not doing, you are my friend I was expecting you to talk in favour of me not go there and do nothing."

Bella thought Emily would have been able to talk to Leonard but it seemed not, Leonard and Emily turned out to be the same. They didn't care about her, they just wanted her to go and suffer in the hands of her parents.

"If you say I am truly your friend then you should know my actions is right."

"Just leave Emily, you don't care about me."

"What?" Emily was doing this for Bella's good, she knew Bella was definitely using the drugs. It was unheard of for someone to sell drugs without tasting it or knowing the content of what they were selling.

If Bella was with her parents it would benefit her a lot and she would get all the help she can, although Leonard had not been gentle in explaining it to her but Emily believed Leonard was doing it for her own good.

"I begged you that I didn't want to go there, that I didn't want to stay in that house. I begged you, didn't I?" Bella said and Emily could hear her sob lightly in between.

"You did but you need to know that we all love you and care about you, we want what's best for you," Emily dropped her arms down. "I will never do anything to harm you."

"But you did, leave Emily. Go home." Bella said as her phone vibrated in her hand, she was in panic mode and didn't even check who is calling. "Who is this?" Bella yelled placing the phone to her ear.

"What do you mean by that Bella?"

"I am sorry, I swear I wasn't talking to you." It was Leonard, she didn't want to offend him. "Someone was at the door and I was...."

"Give the phone to Emily."

"Emily?" Did she hear him correctly?

"Is the drugs affecting your brain?" She heard Leonard bark as she handed the phone quickly to Emily.
