Chapter 11

" Who is it ? " Emily whispered collecting the phone from Bella .

" My broth ... I mean my cousin . " " My broth ... I mean my cousin . "

" Oh , " stated Emily as she placed the phone to her ear .

" Who is that idiot to you ? He claims he is your boyfriend . "

" Boy what ? " Emily didn't understand why Matthew would say such . " He is not , he is just my coursemate . I don't have a boyfriend . " She didn't know why she was explaining this to him .

When she looked at Bella , Bella whispered " What is going on ? "

" I will love to see you again , I will send you the address shortly . " Leonard said .

" I will be busy with work tomorrow , " she rejected his offer . Why did he want to see her again ?

" I know your schedule Emily , I am not asking , I am telling you "

" In the main time , help Bella pack her loads and inform her she will be entitled to only one visitor . Which will be you . "

" Me ? "

What was it with this two repeating his words

What was it with this two repeating his words again ? Leonard thought .

" Or don't you wish to ? "

" Ofcourse , thank you so much . "

Before she could say anything more , Leonard disconnected the call . Why did he want to see her ? She had made a fool of herself at the restaurant , all she had to do was close early and before she could say anything more , Leonard disconnected the call.

Why did he want to see her ?

" What did he say ? "

Emily handed Bella her phone .

" He said you should pack up but I am entitled to see you if I want . "

" He really said that , " Bella couldn't believe Leonard would say that . Leonard never liked any of her friends and anytime she was sent home , she was always left alone for months but now he allowed Emily to see her .

Bella was shocked , maybe he had seen that Emily was a good friend and truly she was .

Bella was so happy that she hugged Emily tightly , she would rather have Emily visit her than any of her friends right now .

" I thought you were mad at me , " Emily said when Bella broke the hug .

I am still mad and for that you have to help me pack . "

" You know I will help you pack whether you are mad at me or not . "

Bella didn't know if she should laugh at the sound of that or cry her eyes out . She had not seen her parents for months now and she felt a slight headache everytime she thought about meeting them .

Leonard wasn't going to be home to rescue her .

" Can you maybe follow me home tomorrow ? "

" I have work tomorrow , " Emily said dropping off her bag and getting ready to arrange Bella's bag . She packed her hair in a ponytail and pulled off her shoes .

" I can wait till evening . " " Alright I will come over and we can go together . "

" Thank you so much , " Bella was happy to hear that . She had never brought anyone home before well she used to in the past but her parents didn't like any of her friends . She could only hope they would like Emily since Leonard allowed her to visit .

" What about Matthew ? " Emily finally

remembered the idiot who tried to take advantage of her some hours back .

" That idiot , " Emily replied . " He tried to kiss me outside but thank God Leonard was there . "

" Leonard is here , " Bella gasped , she ran to the window to confirm if it was true or a bluff .

Emily didn't understand her reaction , it seemed Bella feared Leonard . Why ? Wasn't he her cousin ? But even she feared Leonard especially when there eyes met. There was something about him that didn't sit well with her.
