Chapter 7

"There is something I need to tell you."

"No excuses," Emily smiled. "Go get ready."

"No, it's about me. I am moving out." Bella announced sitting on the bed.

"Really? Is this about the guy that visited earlier, what did he say to you?"

"No it's not that," Bella said it wasn't Leonard's fault, she hadn't been in her best behavior of late. She just thought she would get away with it as always. Emily didn't know Leonard was her brother and it was best to keep it that way for now.

"Are you sure? Because I met him at my work place and he is a very rude asshole."

"You met him at work?"

"I confronted him but I didn't get enough time to talk to him," Emily continued.

Bella stared at her as a thought came to her head, it was a crazy plan but she knew Emily was capable of doing it.

"Well you see he is a distant family member and he told my parents I haven't been behaving well so they are demanding I come home. Please Emily can you help me, I don't want to go home."

"What did you do that would warrant him to report you?"

Bella wasn't sure if he had reported it to their parents that she was selling drugs, she doubted it because if he had by now they would have called her or sent their men to get her.

"Something bad, I can't tell you now but I need you to help me convince him that I have changed and that I wouldn't do it again."

"How bad are we talking here?"

"Like really really extremely bad," Bella said.

Emily remembered Bella having some issues with her parents a long time ago, they had seized her phone and kept a close eye on her. Emily wasn't able to reach her for five months and when she was finally able to, Bella informed her that she was now staying in an apartment not too far from school.

She was pleased but now that she thought about it, did Bella maybe run away from home, was that why her parents were mad or this distant relative was keeping a close eye on her?

"Please Emily help me, I don't want to go back there. Please help me out."

"Alright, how do I help you?"

"Help me beg him to change his mind."

"Alright, call him then. I will talk to him on your behalf."

"Actually I wanted you to meet him."

"...." Emily didn't want to meet him, he was really rude to her when they talked. It was better over the phone.

"Please, while I wait for Matthew I could direct you to where he is and I can call you to know how it is going."

"Like now? You want me to meet him now?"

"Yes, if you don't I will be leaving tonight or tomorrow latest."

"...."

"Please, help me out here. I will owe you a favor if you do."
