"No Sir, actually i...."

"Get off my phone, you idiot." Leonard yelled cutting the call angrily. What was going on tonight? First Karen, then Bella and now this nonsense. How could that idiot man be owing Travis? He and Travis had been long time rivals and in order to put an end to it they had decided not to ever cross paths.

This was so not good.

"Is everything alright Dam?" Bianca asked worried.

"Yes," he replied. "Excuse me."

He walked out of the office and headed for his car as he heard Cam shouting at him.

"Hold on," Cam rushed to his side.

"What the fuck do you want?" Leonard asked stopping on his tracks.

Cam took a step back to avoid Leonard from hitting him again, his eye was already getting dark from the blow, he didn't need another.

"What is going on? Is it the company?"

"Nothing I can't handle," Leonard replied walking again.

"Really... nothing...then why did Jack just message me? And you need to stop making your mother so worried sick about you, she already has Bella to worry abo..." Cam didn't finish his sentence as he found his back on the wall with Leonard's hand on his neck squeezing tightly without remorse.

"Stay away from Bella," Leonard snapped pointing his other finger in a warning sign directly at Cam's face.

"You should also stay away from Emily, she is bad for the business," Cam replied struggling to put his words together as Leonard left his neck, he touched it and coughed out for some minute.

Leonard wasn't going to have this discussion with Cam because in a way he knew what Cam was driving at, Emily was becoming some sort of distraction to him. He was doing things on impulse without thinking it through.

First he had driven straight to see her and now he had left his sister's issue to help Emily. It truly wasn't good for business, when a woman started making a man act this way. It was why over the years Leonard had concluded that he would only find love when he was ready to settle down but was this love? wasn't this lust?

He admitted that he enjoyed Emily's company and he looked forward to kissing her soft lips but did he want more from her than her body.

In his thought, his legs carried him out of the hospital and into his car as Cam tagged along hopping into the front seat next to Leonard.

"When last did we get a link on Travis Redd?" Leonard asked as he started the engine.

"That idiot? Does this have anything to do with Emily?"

"He has Emily."

"He what?" Cam yelled, how could Redd have Emily? What was his connections with Emily? Did Leonard get into a fight with Redd and he decided to take it out on Emily? but that didn't make sense as Leonard and Travis never ever cross paths not after the last time when a lot of there men had died, they had come to an agreement to end the bloodshed by not mixing their business or ever meeting eye to eye.

"How long has she been in his custody? And why?"

"Her father, that ingrate."

"Well Travis certainly doesn't joke with his money and that also doesn't mean you should kill us while you are at it," Cam said clinging to his seatbelt as Leonard passed a brake pad in full speed without stopping, the impact had Cam and Leonard flying out of their seats and back but Leonard seemed unbothered.

Cam also noticed that Leonard was passing through all the traffic lights without checking if it's on green or red.

It didn't take long before they got to Leonard's pent house, his workers welcomed him by just nodding when they saw their boss and his cousin coming out of the elevator into the apartment. No one dared to open their mouth to say a word or suggest anything.

"Where is that idiot?" Leonard asked angrily marching to his office.

"The idiot is in your office Sir," some of them answered bowing as they knew fully well that the idiot was the driver Jack, the gossip had gone round the apartment that the lady the boss was currently chasing after was in Travis Redd custody.
They all thought it wasn't a big deal since their boss was a well known play boy but when they had heard how he reacted over the phone they all knew this lady must be really special to their boss.

Young master wasn't one to show his emotions but his actions spoke for him all the time, it was why no one ever tried to get on his nerve because they could never predict what his next move would be as he barely talked.

When Leonard got to his office, he stepped in only to find Jack sited waiting patiently for him, at the sight of him Jack stood up instantly on his seat and bowed his head.

"Welcome Sir," he greeted and also bowed his head to Cam as well, he had driven straight here as he knew his boss would come here straight. He also called to make his findings about what really happened to Miss Emily and the way forward because he knew that his boss would ask it of him.
