8. He Kissed Me

*Jade’s POV*

These past few days I have noticed that Julian’s attitude has changed towards me. He is very serious and professional with me, even when we are not in training. Thank the goddess that Levi has made appearances in a few training sessions and made things less awkward for me. Levi is really fun to be around and he is also very easy going. Today is one of those days that Levi is going to join the training session, probably because he and Julian think I won't be going because of graduation, but boy are they so wrong about that.

I like having Levi with us in training. I have noticed that we have a similar approach when it comes to coaching others. He is also really hot when he is in training mode, which I started to notice more now that we have been around each other more.

When I arrive at the training grounds, I notice Levi is already there stretching, probably to clear his head like I do before training. I walk up to him, “Hey Levi, how's it going?” He looks at me like if he is surprised to see me but immediately gives me a megawatt smile. “Hi Jade, everything is good. I was not expecting to see you today because of your graduation.”

I go to stand in front of him still giving us enough space to continue stretching and I join him doing my own stretches. “Yeah, I really don’t like to miss out on trainings unless I really have to. Besides the graduation ceremony isn't until this evening.” He smiles, “well it's not like I am complaining about it, I like to have you around. I just thought most girls spend most of their day preparing for an event.” I scoff at what he said, “Well Levi, I don’t know if you have noticed but I am not like most girls. ” He responds with, “Oh, believe me Jade, I have noticed.”

I narrow my eye at him. “And what the hell is that supposed to mean?” He chuckles at my reaction. “All I am saying is that out of all the females I know you are the one that stands out the most.” I blush at what he said and I avoid looking at him, I was really not expecting him to say that. He notices and stops stretching to make his way over to me with some amusement playing on his face.

I am feeling very flustered by him. He is the first guy from my pack to show me clear signs that he is interested in me and he is also very hot, he is one of the hottest guys in our pack. And don’t get me wrong I have had a few guys’ attention before and even a few make out sessions with some of them but none of them ever turned into anything serious and it never went beyond that.

Levi then reaches for the bottom of my chin to lift my face up. He makes me look directly into his eyes, with his other hand he runs his fingers through my cheek and says, “Don't try to hide Jade, you look beautiful when you blush.” I feel the heat in my cheeks getting ten times worse. He sees this and chuckles before letting go of my face.

I fake cough and look away. “How about a run?”, I ask to prevent him from making me get any redder than I already am. He smirks like if he knows why I asked that and nods in affirmation. We start running and halfway through our run, I notice the training area is at a good distance for a race. Being the competitive person I am, I ask Levi, “Race you the rest of the way back.” He smirks and says, “Bring it on.”

We start sprinting back to the training grounds and I notice I start to get ahead of Levi. I already believe this is going to be a win for me. As I am approaching the area where we are going to stop, I am suddenly lifted of my feet and Levi is trying to knock me to the ground. But I am holding on to him like my life depends on it. If I go down, I will not be going down alone.

I pull Levi to the ground with me. Then I suddenly realize the position we are in. He is on top of me, straddling me, and I and have my arms tightly around his neck. Our faces are almost touching and I quickly remove my arms from around his neck but he doesn’t move. That’s when I notice his eyes keep looking down at my lips then back at my eyes. I can already tell what his next move is going to be and to be completely honest I don’t want to stop him.

He closes the little distance there was between us by sealing our lips together. His kiss is slow and soft almost as if he is savoring the moment. My hands act as if they have a mind of their own and move making their way to the nape of his neck, I start moving my fingers up and down, running through his short hair. He groans at my actions and deepens the kiss. He bites my bottom lip and then slides his tongue over it; I give his tongue full access to my mouth. Our tongues are now dancing with each other. Our kiss turns hot and heavy really quick.

We keep kissing only taking short breaths to recover from the breath we have lost. Suddenly I hear someone clear their throat. Both Levi and I snap our heads to where we heard it and Julian is standing there with an annoyed look with the rest of the class. Levi immediately gets off me and pulls me by my hand to help me up.

I see a few of the others whispering with each other and a few of the females are glaring at me. What I didn’t expect was to see Julian glaring at me and then at Levi. Mia is with this group of werewolves for training and she is smirking at me. I then hear Julian say, “What are you doing here Jade? I told you yesterday that you could take the day off today for your graduation.” I clear my throat, “I know, but I really don’t like to miss training, besides graduation is not until this evening.”

Julian still looks mad for some reason. He then says in a stern tone, “Well I hope my gamma and head warrior could keep to themselves for the rest of the of the training that was supposed to start 5 minutes ago.” What the hell, were they just watching kiss. I suddenly realized that’s exactly what happened and my cheeks turn red from embarrassment. Levi and I both respond at the same time, “Yes, Alpha.”

Julian then directs his attention to begin the class without sparing us a second glance. I then turn to look at Levi and he just smirks and then winks at me. I shake my head but a smile escapes my lips. I then focus at the task at hand and direct my attention to the rest of the class.

When training gets dismissed, I rush home and try to avoid everyone. I don’t want to get scolded by Julian, I don’t want to talk to Levi about the kiss yet, and I don’t want Mia getting a laugh out of teasing me about it. Oh goddess, what if Liam finds out. I don’t want him and Levi to have any issues because of this.

When I get home, I race to the shower and get myself freshened up and this helps to clear my head. I then just put on my under garments and put a bath robe over, since I will start to get ready soon anyways. I quickly make my way to the kitchen to heat some left overs. I eat, then make my way back upstairs. On my way back I knock on Ava’s door and ask her if she can help me with my make up today since she is a lot more talented than me when it comes to that.

She agrees, and since she is aware that I like light make up she does exactly that and does my make up in a way that my good features stand out more, since it's just a graduation ceremony we do not do too much on my eyes just a simple brown and gold eyeshadow with winged eyeliner that helps make my eyes stand out more. For my lips just a lipstick of a rose color. I decide to straighten my hair and keep it down. I put on the dress a bought from Rob for my graduation and put-on my heels. I just wear some earrings since I don’t like to wear much jewelry. By the time I am finished it is time for me to leave.
