Chapter 361
**Sara**
The drive back to the hotel was quiet but charged with anticipation. Tom's hand rested on my thigh, his thumb making small circles against my skin. I watched the Sydney skyline grow closer, the city lights reflecting off the harbor waters like scattered stars.
When we arrived at the hotel, the valet hurried to open our doors. Tom slipped him a generous tip and placed his hand at the small of my back as we walked through the lobby. The gesture was simple but possessive in a way that made my skin tingle.
"Mr. Blackwood, welcome back," the concierge called as we passed. "Is everything to your satisfaction?"
"More than satisfied," Tom replied without breaking stride. "No calls to our suite tonight, please."
"Of course, sir."
In the elevator, Tom pushed me against the wall the moment the doors closed, his mouth finding mine in a kiss that made my knees weak. His hands slid under my cover-up, fingers digging into the flesh of my ass.
The elevator dinged, announcing our arrival. We broke apart, both a little breathless, and Tom led me down the hallway to our suite.
Inside, the room was bathed in the soft glow of sunset through the floor-to-ceiling windows. Tom immediately went to the wine cabinet while I kicked off my sandals.
"Red or white?" he asked, examining the bottles.
"Red," I decided, pulling off my cover-up and draping it over a chair. "I'm going to rinse off the remaining beach grime. Want to join?"
He looked up, his eyes darkening as they swept over my bikini-clad body. "I'll open this and be right there."
I padded to the bathroom, stripping off my swimsuit and stepping into the massive shower. The hot water was heavenly after the cold beach shower, and I tilted my face into the spray with a contented sigh.
I heard the bathroom door open and close, followed by the sound of clothes hitting the floor. Then the shower door slid open, and Tom's warm body pressed against my back.
"Room for one more?" His voice was low in my ear as his hands slid around to cup my breasts.
"Always," I leaned back into him, feeling his hardness against my lower back.
His thumbs brushed over my nipples, making them tighten into stiff peaks. I moaned softly, arching into his touch.
"You're so fucking beautiful," he said, kissing my neck. "Do you have any idea what you do to me?"
"I have some idea," I teased, reaching behind to stroke his cock. "It's pretty hard to miss."
He spun me around, pinning me against the shower wall. Water streamed down his face, making his eyelashes spike and his hair darken. "Smart-ass."
"You love my ass." I reached up to kiss him, water flowing between our lips.
His hands slid down my back to grab said ass, lifting me slightly. "I do. I love every inch of you."
The words hit me harder than I expected, making my heart stutter. Instead of responding, I kissed him deeper, wrapping my legs around his waist. His hands supported me effortlessly, pressing me against the cool tiles as hot water cascaded over us both.
"Mmm," he murmured against my lips. "You taste like sunshine and salt."
"Is that your professional assessment, Professor?"
"Absolutely." His mouth traveled down my neck, teeth grazing my collarbone in that way that made my toes curl. "And I'm very thorough with my research."
"I've noticed," I gasped as his lips found my breast, tongue circling my nipple before taking it into his mouth. My back arched instinctively, pressing myself harder against him.
His hands slid lower, fingers dipping between my legs. "So wet already," he whispered against my skin. "And not just from the shower."
I moaned as he stroked me, my hips rolling against his hand. "Tom..."
"Yes, baby?" His voice was pure sin, low and rough.
"The water's getting cold," I lied, desperate to move this to the bedroom.
"Can't have you catching a chill."
He set me down carefully, stealing one more heated kiss before reaching for the shower controls. I grabbed the shampoo, determined to actually get clean before whatever came next.
"Allow me," Tom said, taking the bottle from my hands. He squeezed a dollop into his palm and began working it through my hair, his fingers massaging my scalp in slow, delicious circles.
"God, that feels amazing," I sighed, leaning into his touch.
"I know what you like," he replied, his tone smug.
I reached for his shampoo and returned the favor, standing on tiptoes to properly lather his hair. Our bodies pressed together under the spray, slick with soap and desire.
"If you keep grinding against me like that, we'll never make it out of this shower," he warned, his hands sliding down to grip my hips.
"Would that be so terrible?" I teased, deliberately pressing my breasts against his chest.
His eyes darkened. "Not terrible. But I had plans for you involving that king-sized bed out there."
I stepped back, rinsing the suds from my hair. "Let's finish up then."
We quickly washed the rest of the beach day from our bodies, hands lingering on each other's skin but never quite crossing into the point of no return. By the time we stepped out of the shower, the mirrors were completely fogged with steam.
Tom wrapped me in a plush hotel robe that felt like being hugged by a cloud. He donned the matching one, leaving it untied so I could admire the way it draped against his skin.
"Stop looking at me like that," he said, noticing my gaze.
"Like what?"
"Like I'm dessert and you're starving."
I shrugged innocently. "Can you blame me? You're standing there practically naked."
He moved closer, crowding me against the counter. "You're one to talk." His finger traced the edge of my robe where it gaped open at my chest. "This barely covers anything important."
"That's kind of the point," I whispered, leaning up to kiss him.
His hands found their way inside my robe, palming my breasts as our tongues tangled. I moaned into his mouth, my own hands pushing his robe off his shoulders so I could run my fingers over his muscled chest.
The sharp ring of the hotel phone cut through our heated moment. Tom groaned against my lips.
"Ignore it," I pleaded.
The ringing stopped, then immediately started again. Tom pulled back with a frustrated sigh. "It might be important."
