Chapter 17

"You?"

Alice's eyes went wide when she saw Chiki was here in the form of a human. Chiki immediately girded her loins and wore a sinister look on her face.

"What are you wandering around in the middle of the forest like this for, Alice?" asked Chiki angrily.

She could not tell Chiki the truth if she wanted to leave Vestinel territory. Instead, she was caught by Chiki here.

"You're hurt too, Alice. Why?" Chiki saw that Alice's clothes were slightly torn and there were wounds on her body.

This was all the result of her fight earlier against that witch. The witch who did not want to mention names. Does she have to tell Chiki what happened earlier? She daydreamed for a few seconds and was awakened by Chiki.

"Alice, you answer my question honestly. Why did you get hurt like this? Who had the audacity to hurt you?" Chiki was very worried about Alice's condition.

"Just now, I was fighting with a witch. She wouldn't say her name and just attacked me. This is the first time I've seen her." 

Chiki's face immediately turned pale. What was wrong with Chiki? Like she was scared of someone. However, she said that it was okay now.

Chiki pulled her hand and wanted to take her home. She immediately refused. Alice said she would never return to that house again and intended to go far away from this Vestinel territory. Chiki immediately cried and begged her.

"Chiki, what are you doing?"

Chiki was currently kneeling before Alice and begging. She immediately told her to stand up, but the blue-eyed woman would not obey her. Chiki was still crying.

"Chiki, don't be like this. Please stand up right now." Alice raised both of Chiki's hands gently.

"No way! If you really want to leave this Vestinel territory, take me with you. No matter where you go, I will go with you." Chiki cried even harder because Alice would not comply with her request.

Alice was confused. She could not bear to see Chiki in this condition. She immediately hugged Chiki tightly.

She was indeed close to Chiki, like her own biological sister. Perhaps Alice had been selfish and did not care about Chiki's feelings. So, should she delay her departure?

"Alice, I know that you want to leave here because of Sandy, right? You can't stand Sandy and Amora's closeness."

"Yes. And I also don't want to burden the people of this Vestinel region with my presence. I don't want you all to be subjected to a sudden attack from the Estonian Kingdom." Alice looked at Chiki's face and wiped away her tears.

"Well, if that's the case, it's better for you and me to leave here."

"I can't. You can't come with me," said Alice, who forbade Chiki to come with her.

"Why can't I? What I want, I should be able to get." Chiki immediately grabbed Alice's hand and flew together.

Chiki's wish could not be changed anymore. Finally, she just gave in to Chiki's decision this time.

Suddenly, Marie came in a weakened state and directly faced Amora. Amora was surprised to see the witch looking in pain, holding her chest. What had happened?

"Why did you suddenly appear like this? What if someone sees you in my room? Everything will be a mess!" Amora was furious that Marie had come out of nowhere.

"Since you told me to attack Alice, this is what I get now!" Marie was very annoyed with Amora at this moment.

"So, you failed in killing Alice?" Amora immediately spat in front of Marie. "You useless witch! I thought you were so strong, but you couldn't even fight Alice!"

The witch Marie asked Amora for help in finding an antidote. However, she couldn't help her at all because, in order to find the antidote, she had to deal with Elena first. This was really troublesome for Amora.

"How did you get poisoned?"

"Alice used it." The witch replied.

"Alice? Apparently, she can use that poison technique? Elena really taught her poison!" Amora clenched her fists so hard that she couldn't accept that Alice had learned the poison technique.

"Amora, I need the antidote. This pain is really bothering me!" Marie complained to Amora.

"Noisy! Shut up!"

At the moment, Amora was still thinking about how to take the antidote without being caught by Elena. If she was caught even a little bit, the others would suspect her. She repeatedly blamed Marie in this case for acting carelessly.

"I'm so angry with you! How could you be exposed to that poison? Don't you have incredible strength to fight Alice?"

"She's gotten stronger now. Even I can be defeated by her. Because of that poison, I've lost a lot of strength right now." Replied the unfortunate Marie.

No matter what, Alice had to die easily. However, her plan tonight had gone to waste. Though she saw that Alice decided to leave this Vestinel territory

"I will try to retrieve the antidote in Elena's room. However, this is very risky."

The witch Marie was in increasing pain and had lost a significant amount of her strength. She looked at the witch with a grin.

"This time, you need my help, Marie." Amora immediately left Marie here.

Amora was sure that she would be able to grab the antidote in Elena's room and head there. She quickly arrived with the help of her powers. The woman was apparently still sleeping when she got here. Amora's eyes went straight to a wooden cabinet with many small bottles. Perhaps there was one of the antidotes for Marie.

"What a nuisance that old witch is! She's asking me for help, and it's very risky. Let's hope Elena doesn't wake up first."

Amora read the labels on some of the bottles. However, she did not find the antidote for Marie.

"There's no antidote here, but these are all poisons." Amora was shocked and found nothing. "How annoying!"

Suddenly, her body couldn't move at all. Amora couldn't look back either. Had she been spotted by Elena?
