Chapter 22

Amora laughed joyfully while holding hands with Sandy. The man tasted a strawberry and then fed it to Amora. Nothing could match their affection in the Vestinel region. They were the most romantic couple.

"Finally, Alice is not here anymore. I am free to have Sandy completely," Amora shouted loudly so Sandy could hear.

"Yes, dear. You are mine, and I am yours."

Amora immediately kissed the man she loved. Sandy responded to her kiss warmly.

Suddenly, Alice arrived with Elena and Chiki. Their arrival was immediately welcomed by the healer clan members. Amora stopped in her tracks and looked at them.

"Why are you back here?" Amora asked, disliking Alice's presence and shocked by Chiki's appearance.

"I just wanted to come back. Is that wrong?"

Amora grabbed Sandy's hand and tried to lead him away from Alice. However, she would not let them leave. Alice blocked their path, angering Sandy.

"Move aside! Let me and Amora through."

"No! I need to talk to Amora for a moment. I just want to talk to her alone." Alice pointed to Amora, whose expression had turned unfriendly.

"Talk about what? I don't want to waste my time just because of you, Alice!"

Amora refused to engage in conversation. She pulled Sandy's hand and quickly moved away from her. Chiki felt annoyed and wanted to chase after Amora, but she let them go.

As Amora and Sandy left, the healer clan members approached Chiki, who had now fully transformed into a very beautiful human. They approached Chiki, astonished by her permanent change.

"Chiki, is that really you?" asked one of the healer clan members.

"You have become a complete human."

Chiki was very pleased with the appreciation she received here. They were very friendly.

"Alice, Chiki, you should rest. Let me cook for you. Consider it a welcome since Alice and Chiki have come back to this region."

"Don't trouble yourself, Elena. You should rest too. We’ve had a long journey, haven't we?"

Alice was once again thinking about Sandy. Seeing his face made her realize something had happened. Could Sandy have fallen into dark magic? Her purpose in coming back was to investigate if Amora was indeed involved with an evil witch who had attacked her.

Amora and Sandy ran away from the crowd. Her previously joyful mood turned to frustration after Alice, Elena, and Chiki arrived. Sandy noticed the discomfort on Amora's face and gently pulled her into an embrace.

"You know, it seems like Alice always finds a way to appear at the wrong time," Amora sighed.

"Alice and her friends shouldn’t be here, right? I understand how you feel, dear." Sandy caressed Amora's smooth face.

Now, Sandy focused on her more than anything else, which made her quite happy. Nothing could disturb their relationship.

"Just ignore them. Don’t let them ruin your mood."

"Yes, Sandy. Thank you, dear."

At the healer clan meeting place, Alice, Elena, and Chiki were resting while enjoying light refreshments prepared by the Vestinel region's inhabitants. Chiki, now fully human, received attention and praise from those around her with joy. Alice felt happy seeing the healer clan members united.

"Chiki, we are so glad to see this change. Not only have you become a complete human now, but you are also a very valuable part of us," Elena said warmly.

"Thank you, Elena. This is an amazing experience, and I’m very grateful to be with you all." Chiki smiled widely and was pleased to hear those words.

Alice looked at Chiki with a gentle gaze. She knew that this journey was not without its challenges. However, seeing Chiki’s happiness made her feel happy too. Despite the sadness and frustration that still lingered in Alice's heart due to her feelings being betrayed by Sandy, she did not show her sadness to them. She didn’t want to make Elena and Chiki worried about her.

"Alice, what are you thinking about right now?" Elena asked, gently patting Alice's shoulder. "Are you thinking about Sandy?"

Elena guessed correctly. Alice nodded while giving a brief smile.

"I’m still thinking about him, Elena."

"That’s understandable, since you love Sandy so much," Elena replied.

"Yes. I do love him so much. To this day, I still can’t forget him." Alice looked sad as she remembered Sandy again.

Then, Chiki approached her. "Alice, don't be so sad. There are still many things that can make you happy. Forget him. I’m really annoyed with Sandy right now!"

"Forget your sadness, Alice. Let’s join the others and enjoy the light refreshments here."

"Alright, Elena."

When Amora was alone in her room, the witch Marie appeared before her. Amora was very angry with the witch Marie and poured out all her emotions of anger.

"You are such a weak witch! How could you be defeated by Alice? Now look, Elena is starting to suspect me of conspiring with you!" Amora pointed at Marie’s face with immense frustration.

Amora couldn’t continue living in fear that Alice would disrupt her life with Sandy. She wanted Alice dead by any means. But so far, the woman still hadn’t gone to hell. Witch Marie only laughed loudly in front of her, as if mocking her current misfortune. Her feelings were a mix of frustration, sadness, and anger.

"You’re useless, you cursed witch!"

"You talk too much!" Witch Marie unleashed a lightning attack at Amora.

Amora was quite shocked by the attack. It was true that Marie was so weak against Alice.

"Why are you so afraid that Alice will disturb your romance with Sandy? Do you feel overshadowed because you’re not as beautiful as Alice?" Marie asked while laughing in front of Amora.

Amora was very angry to hear this. She received direct scorn from this old witch.

"How dare you say such things to me!"

"Why should I be afraid of you, Amora? It’s true. Compared to you, Alice looks more beautiful with her face. You’re with Sandy now because of my magic. If I remove that magic, Sandy might turn away from you and look for Alice again." Witch Marie spoke honestly in front of Amora.

Such a thing would never happen in her life. She couldn’t let Sandy leave her life and choose Alice. Everything witch Marie said was just a lie. Amora cast a spell and began attacking witch Marie. However, Marie managed to dodge her attacks while laughing loudly.

"How dare you use your spell on me?" Marie asked, beginning to unleash lightning from her palms. "You must face the consequences of being so arrogant!"

Marie attacked her, sending her crashing into the room’s wall. Amora bled from her mouth. Then the sorceress vanished. Amora pounded the floor repeatedly in her frustration.

If Sandy were to leave her life, she would be utterly destroyed. Amora didn’t want that to happen.

"It’s all Alice’s fault! She came here again to disrupt my relationship with Sandy!" The jealousy in her heart grew even more, especially after hearing the insulting words from Marie.
