Chapter 29
"You are here with me."
Chiki opened her eyes and looked straight at Alice, Elena, and Sandy. She suddenly wanted to sit up, but Alice told her to lie down.
"Chiki, you shouldn't get up yet. It's better to lie down for your recovery."
"Alice, I want to hug you." Chiki said so spoiled to Alice. "Don't you miss me?"
Elena and Sandy laughed at Chiki's behavior. Happily, Alice spread her arms and immediately gave Chiki a warm hug. She was so happy that her best friend could regain consciousness.
"Chiki, I promise, this will never happen to you again."
"Alice, you can't promise like that. I did all this to protect you, and I feel so happy."
"Chiki, do you know how important you are to me? We all felt very worried when you were unconscious like earlier." Alice held Chiki's hand gently, feeling a little relieved to see her best friend with gratitude.
"Thank you everyone. I know how hard this is, but with you guys by my side, I feel strong." Chiki smiled softly, her eyes starting to get heavy from the effects of the potion she drank earlier.
"We will always be there for you, Chiki. We will face everything together. Now rest and recover your body well. I will take care of you here." Alice stroked Chiki's hair gently.
Chiki complied with Alice's words. Sandy and Elena asked permission to leave this room so they could rest in their own rooms. Finally, they were able to pass this night well. The witch Marie was successfully locked up with a strong seal, making it impossible to escape again. However, Amora was still wandering around out there.

Amora was helped by a pitch-black mist that led her to a royal palace. She immediately woke up and looked around this beautiful room. The furniture in this room was made of fire crystals. She got off the bed and intended to walk outside to explore this place.
"You're awake."
A soft voice startled Amora, and she immediately turned around. "Who are you?"
"I'm the one who helped you escape from that place," he said.
As it turned out, the man in front of her right now was the black mist that had saved her life back then. Amora immediately kneeled before him.
"Thank you for saving my life."
"No need to thank me. I was only doing my duty to help you. However, you are now in a safe place. I'm sure you have many questions, right?" The man smiled gently and lifted both of Amora's hands, helping her to stand up.
Amora nodded. "That's right. Where exactly am I? And why are you helping me?"
"Before I answer your question, allow me to introduce myself. My name is Doran."
"My name is Amora."
"What a beautiful name."
Doran waved a hand, and suddenly a chair made of fire crystal appeared before them. Doran told Amora to sit gracefully. Amora obeyed and was facing the man.
"You are now in the palace of the Kingdom of Estonia," said Doran, who was so proud of introducing the Kingdom of Estonia to Amora.
Amora, of course, knew about the powerful Estonian Kingdom. However, she had never been inside its palace and was setting foot here for the first time. She was so enthusiastic.
"Apparently, you have tremendous potential, Amora. Potential that not many people have." Doran was full of praise for Amora at this moment. "And I'm saving your life because there's something bigger out there that needs your help."
"What should I do to repay this favor?" asked the earnest Amora.
Suddenly, Doran kneeled down and saluted. Amora felt confused and followed the direction of Doran's gaze. Apparently, the man was paying homage to Prince Maxwell.
"You?" Amora pointed at Prince Maxwell.
"We meet again," Maxwell said.
Amora still felt annoyed that Maxwell failed to take Alice away from Vestinel territory at that time. This prince from the Kingdom of Estonia could only create chaos in his territory. She immediately showed a sullen face.
"What's wrong with you? You're so impolite."
"You have failed to bring Alice here, and that makes me very upset with you, Prince!"
Prince Maxwell laughed loudly in front of her. Amora was getting more annoyed with this prince. In front of her was still Doran, who stood with an expressionless face, trying to keep calm amidst the rising tension. Maxwell stopped his laughter and looked at Amora with a serious look on his face.
"Alright, Amora, I understand that you're very angry. But I didn't do it on purpose. Things went beyond my plans."
"But the consequences of your failure were so great, you couldn't take Alice away, and she's now with Sandy."
Maxwell waved a hand, signaling Doran to leave and get out of his way. Doran complied and immediately disappeared. Prince Maxwell tried to hold back his emotions.
"I need your help to kill Alice." Maxwell grinned at Amora. "I hated her until now. I regret letting her get away so easily that time."
"Why are you so obsessed with killing Alice? What did she do to you to make you hate her so much?" Amora looked at Maxwell with a cold and calm gaze, although her heart was very happy to have an ally to kill Alice.
Maxwell immediately brought out the power of fire in his palm and felt angry that Amora was asking such an unimportant question. Amora nodded slowly not to ask any more questions. She was willing to help Prince Maxwell gladly.
"If I help you, what will I get in return? Nothing in this world is free," Amora said as she looked sharply at Maxwell.
"I can make sure that all your wishes come true as long as you help me get rid of Alice." Maxwell looked at Amora intensely. "Don't you want to get that man's heart? And kill Alice, then you can be with him."
"Alright, I'll help you. But I want to make sure this plan goes smoothly. If we do this, we have to be careful and strategic."
She and Maxwell looked at each other. Prince Maxwell apparently already had a plan to get rid of Alice. This made Amora very happy. With an ally from the Estonian Kingdom, she could easily kill Alice.
After agreeing to the deal, Prince Maxwell quickly left her presence. The man came out from inside Amora's room. Amora grinned and made sure that this plan would succeed in killing Alice. Twice the plan had failed and Alice had escaped death.
"We'll see about that. I'll kill you, Alice."
