Chapter 25

Elena locked Amora in the dungeon. Amora screamed and felt deeply wronged because they were treating her so cruelly. The dungeon was a terrifying place with many powerful mystical creatures assigned to guard it. Elena also sealed the place so Amora couldn't easily escape.

"You're so wicked, Elena! How could you lock me up in the dungeon?"

"I locked you here because of your own actions that went too far. You've caused a great deal of chaos. I suspect you must have conspired with a witch to kill Alice, right?" Elena asked, having finished sealing the place.

However, Amora only laughed in response. Elena's suspicion might be correct.

"Elena, even if I did have dealings with a witch, so what?"

"My suspicion was right. You are indeed involved in this. Your crime is truly unforgivable."

Elena left Amora struggling in the darkness of the dungeon. Amora needed to face the consequences of her actions. She had harmed Alice and had inflicted negative, evil energy into Sandy's body.

"It turns out that Amora did conspire with an evil witch to attempt to kill Alice," Elena said. "And she also provided negative, evil energy to Sandy."

Alice and Chiki were not surprised at all, as they already knew Amora's character. However, it was very unfortunate that Amora went to such lengths to achieve her goals.

"Maybe she did all this to get Sandy entirely and get me out of the way," Alice said calmly, looking seriously at Elena and Chiki.

"Yes, Amora is indeed that devious."

"It would be good if we find out more about the witch who conspired with Amora," Elena suggested.

Now it was clear who was behind this issue. However, Alice remained cautious because Amora could act out of control as she had before. Elena and Chiki agreed with this suggestion.

"Don't worry, Alice. I will keep the dungeon tightly guarded so she can't get out. I've placed a seal so that no one can enter except me."

A calm expression was clearly visible on Alice's face. "Thank you, Elena, for your hard work."

Alice, Elena, and Chiki now focused on the big problem: finding the witch who conspired with Amora. They knew the threat came not only from Amora but also from the witch, who might have malicious intentions.

"Is she an ancient witch with great skill in magic?" Chiki asked.

"She could be."

Suddenly, Alice wanted to visit Sandy and check on his condition. She was worried that the negative energy might still be affecting Sandy. Elena and Chiki had no objections.

"I need to make sure that Sandy is not only safe but also able to fully recover from the negative energy Amora inflicted on him." Alice stood up and walked towards Sandy's room.

Alice hurried to Sandy's room, her heart still filled with anxiety. Upon reaching the door, she took a deep breath before gently knocking.

Knock! Knock!

"Sandy, it's Alice. May I come in?"

"Come in, Alice," Sandy responded from inside the room.

Without waiting, she opened the door and went inside. Sandy was lying in bed, looking a little pale. Alice approached him to check his condition further.

"How do you feel now, Sandy? Is there still any pain?" Alice asked with concern, placing the back of her hand on Sandy's forehead.

"I'm fine, Alice. Just a little tired," Sandy said.

The negative energy that had possessed Sandy seemed to have made him very weak. Alice began to focus her mind, trying to sense any lingering traces of the evil energy in Sandy's body. This would not happen again.

Golden light emanated from Alice's palms towards Sandy. She channeled positive energy to cleanse any remaining negative energy. The positive energy gradually spread throughout Sandy's body, bringing warmth and comfort. Alice could feel the residual negative energy trying to persist in Sandy's body, but she continued to work calmly to remove it.

Sandy closed his eyes and took a deep breath, trying to shake off the lingering fatigue. Alice smiled gently at him. Sandy looked very handsome in this moment. Gradually, Sandy's face showed a healthier complexion than before. After a while, Alice felt that the negative energy had been completely removed from Sandy's body.

"Sandy, how do you feel now? Is it much better than before?" Alice asked.

"Thank you, Alice. I don't know how to repay your kindness."

"I think you're better now. The negative energy is completely gone, and you need to rest for further recovery, Sandy." Alice advised him to rest. Sandy nodded immediately.

Suddenly, Sandy pulled Alice's hand and brought her into his embrace. She looked into his eyes, which were a clear blue. Alice was surprised by Sandy's sudden action but couldn't ignore the warmth flowing from the embrace.

"Sandy, is there something you want to tell me?" She asked softly, trying to steady her breathing as she was in Sandy's embrace.

Sandy closed his eyes for a moment before speaking with a voice full of gratitude. "Alice, I feel deeply indebted to you. Not only did you save me, but you also helped me see the beauty in life again. Being with you makes me happy."

They were enveloped in a deep sense of closeness, experiencing peace after enduring a long and exhausting ordeal. Alice felt very happy being near Sandy, and he felt the same. They embraced each other for a long time, as if they didn't want to let go of the warm hug.

"Sandy, you should sleep now. I want to leave the room." Alice's face looked so endearing to Sandy.

"I won't let you leave the room, Alice. Stay with me here," Sandy said, holding Alice tightly.

Alice just laughed at Sandy's words. He kept teasing her, and she agreed to stay with him.

"Alright, for tonight, I'll stay in your room and keep you company."

"Thank you, my dear."

Sandy called her "my dear." Alice's face immediately felt warm, and her cheeks flushed. Her heart raced, feeling flustered in front of Sandy. He invited her to lie down on the bed. The distance between them was very close. Alice could clearly see Sandy's handsome face.

"Alice, do you love me?" Sandy asked.

"Of course." Alice answered confidently. "If I didn't love you, why would I be jealous?"

Sandy then laughed at Alice's answer. He caressed her face with affection. Finally, she was getting the attention and affection from Sandy again.

"Alice, would you tell me everything that happened when I was possessed by the negative energy, and what happened afterward?"

The conversation turned serious. Of course, Alice couldn’t hide everything from Sandy. Slowly, she began to explain everything that had happened.

"Sandy, because I was jealous when you were close to Amora, that night I chose to escape from Vestinel. It turned out someone was following me. And that person was a witch," Alice recounted the beginning to Sandy.

Sandy listened attentively, his face growing serious. "So, the witch was the one who made me affected by the negative energy?" Sandy asked.

Alice nodded. "Yes, the witch also wanted to take my life at that time. I fought with the witch with great power. Her strength was truly formidable. It was the witch who implanted the negative energy in you, Sandy, so you were only focused on Amora."

"So, Amora was involved in this too?" Sandy asked, shaking his head.

He asked her not to leave Vestinel again. Alice promised him.

"Sandy, I’ve told you everything. You should go to sleep now." Alice urged Sandy gently.

"Yes, Alice."
