Chapter 33

When Alice opened her eyes, she immediately saw Sandy. Her husband looked very handsome while asleep. She moved closer to examine his face more closely. Last night, Alice was overjoyed because she had given her virginity.

"Good morning, darling," Sandy said, opening his eyes and looking at Alice.

"Looks like you're already awake?" Alice asked, smiling sweetly at the man she loved.

"Yes, I'm awake. I just wanted to see your face up close like this," Sandy replied gently, touching Alice's cheek. "How did you sleep?"

Alice smiled and stretched her body. "Very well. I think we both deserve to be happy after such a wonderful night."

Sandy smiled softly and hugged Alice tighter. "I agree. Last night meant a lot to both of us. I hope this morning is just as beautiful."

Alice returned Sandy's embrace warmly. "I’m sure this morning will be a great start for our days ahead. Thank you for making last night so special."

Sandy kissed Alice’s forehead for a moment. Their love grew stronger. He promised to always be by her side, no matter what. They got up and got out of bed. Alice wanted to prepare to go downstairs and greet the members of the healing clan.

"Newlyweds!"

There was sudden excitement as Alice and Sandy appeared among the members of the healing clan. Chiki and Elena welcomed them warmly. Chiki was especially enthusiastic and welcomed them, while Sandy was immediately surrounded by his friends.

"Alice, I felt so lonely in the room without you," Chiki said, hugging Alice with a pout.

Now that Alice was Sandy’s wife, she no longer shared a room with Chiki. Alice hugged Chiki gently and smiled.

"I'm sorry, Chiki. I know you feel lonely, but I promise to be there for you when you need me. I hope you understand that this is part of the new life I have to live." Alice’s gaze turned toward Sandy with a sweet smile.

Chiki nodded, though her face still showed sadness. "I understand, Alice. Congratulations to both of you. I just need time to get used to this change."

Sandy, who had joined his friends, came over and placed a hand on Chiki’s shoulder gently. "Alice and I will always be your good friends. Don’t hesitate to come to us anytime."

With Sandy's support and Alice's warmth, the atmosphere became more cheerful. The members of the healing clan continued their celebration with enthusiasm, and Alice felt grateful for the supportive and understanding friends she had during this significant change in her life.

If only her mother were still alive, Queen Brianna would likely be pleased that Alice had married the man she loved, just as her father, still imprisoned in the Kingdom of Estonia, would have been. Her face suddenly grew sad.

"Darling, what’s wrong? Why do you look suddenly sad?" Sandy immediately noticed the change in Alice’s expression.

"I’m fine. Just thinking about my mother."

Alice’s sadness affected everyone around them deeply. They realized how much Queen Brianna's loss had left a void in Alice’s life. Chiki quickly responded, hugging her to provide support and comfort amid the mourning feelings. In Chiki’s warm embrace, Alice felt slightly calmer, even though memories of her mother still touched her heart.

"Don’t be sad, Alice. Everyone here will always be with you," Chiki said gently, trying to comfort Alice.

Alice felt the support and warmth from her friends as she reflected on the loss of her mother and her father, who was still imprisoned. Those words made Alice feel a bit more at ease. With a calmer demeanor, Alice lifted her head and smiled at her friends.

"Well, rather than us all becoming suddenly sad, let’s enjoy the food that’s already on the table," Elena suggested, trying to shift their focus in a positive direction.

The witch Marie continued to struggle fiercely to free herself from the large chains binding her to the Lumina Stone. Her strength was not what it once was, having been defeated by Alice and the others. Her alliance with Amora had proven fruitless.

"How long must I stay here?"

The light from the Lumina Stone shone brightly, emitting a light blue glow. Every time Marie tried to break free, she felt pain throughout her body. The seal placed by Elena was also very strong.

"I shouldn’t have underestimated Elena from the start. She is indeed the strongest person in Vestinel."

The Lumina Stone was like prison for her. She could go nowhere and would receive no help from anyone. Each attempt to resist Elena’s seal brought sharp pain throughout her body, adding to her mental and physical burden.

"I should have been more cautious of their powers," Marie thought.

Despair began to creep into her mind, but Marie tried to stay calm. Despite being trapped in such a strong prison, she hoped there might be a way to change her fate and escape.

Amora’s emotions were in turmoil. She wanted to return to Vestinel to observe the situation there, but King Charles had still not granted her permission to go back.

If Amora could not provide a good suggestion for dealing with Alice, she would have to stay here. Although the surroundings were luxurious, it did not make her feel as comfortable as being in Vestinel.

Suddenly, Doran appeared in a cloud of black mist and entered her room. Amora welcomed his arrival. Doran then transformed into a human form.

"Why are you here, Doran?" Amora asked, showing confusion on her face.

"I have something important to tell you."

Amora, feeling impatient, urged Doran to speak more seriously. "Hurry up, tell me!"

"The man you love, Sandy, has married Princess Alice," Doran said seriously.

Amora was shocked by the news, unable to believe Doran’s words. She was momentarily stunned, with pain and anger clearly visible on her face.

"What did you say? Sandy married Alice?" Her voice was barely audible, caught between pain and confusion.

Doran nodded. "I know this is shocking to you. I came to let you know so you can prepare yourself for the pain."

Amora bit her lip, trying to calm herself. "I need to know more about their marriage. I must go to Vestinel immediately."

Doran shook his head. "Don’t go there; King Charles will be very angry with you."

"I don’t care."
