Chapter 27

"Is it you?"

Elena and Sandy recognized the figure. An evil witch named Marie was standing next to Amora. Alice recognized the witch and immediately informed Elena and Sandy.

"That witch wanted to kill me back then," Alice said seriously.

"That means our suspicion was correct; Amora and Marie have conspired together."

The witch Marie laughed loudly and looked at Elena. "We meet again."

"I thought you were dead back then."

"I will never die," Marie said, laughing again.

Marie Salem stepped forward, her face filled with hatred. The witch was working with Amora. Alice would never forgive either of them. Marie began launching her magical attacks quickly, creating illusions to complicate their movements. Amora was pleased to have received help.

Elena created a magical shield to protect them from the illusions' attacks. "Focus your minds!" Elena commanded Alice and the team.

"We need to stay focused if we want to dispel these illusions," Alice shouted, trying to dispel the illusions created by the evil witch.

Amora took advantage of the chaos caused by Marie's illusions to prepare a major attack. Amora was setting up a spell to directly strike at Alice.

Seeing their efforts to break the illusions, Marie started to alter her strategy. She created more illusions and added magical traps to further confuse them. "You will never defeat me this way," Marie said confidently.

"Elena, keep up with your magical shield. Sandy, find Marie's weak spot and attack with full force," Alice ordered.

Thanks to the team's cooperation, Marie's illusions began to weaken and became easier for Elena to handle. Alice felt an opportunity to stop Marie before things got worse. Meanwhile, Amora still appeared relaxed.

"Keep going!" Alice urged, her spirits rising. "We are close to defeating these illusions!"

Gradually, the illusions created by Marie began to disappear. They could breathe a sigh of relief now. However, Marie and Amora were not giving up easily.

"Amora, you promised me you would fulfill the terms, right?" Marie the sorceress still remembered what Amora had said earlier.

"Of course I remember."

Alice and the others were stunned as Marie entered Amora's body. Amora screamed in agony, her body trembling violently. In an instant, Marie had completely taken over Amora's body.

"Marie the witch has possessed Amora's body!" Alice said, her voice full of concern. "We must act quickly before it's too late! They might cause chaos again."

Marie was now using Amora's body and stood with a new, terrifying strength. A sinister smile adorned Amora's face, while Marie's voice echoed through Amora's mouth.

"Thank you for helping me, Marie. I feel a tremendous power within me now. Help me end everything." Amora began launching magical attacks at Alice and the others.

She never expected this to happen. Amora attacked the healer clan members brutally. Chaos erupted everywhere due to Amora's attacks, reminding Alice of the sudden assault on the Goldenia Kingdom by the Estonian Kingdom.

"Oh God, is this happening again?" Alice muttered softly, looking around.

She was deeply saddened that Amora had gone this far. However, her determination to fight Amora was strong. The woman deserved her demise at this moment. Amora unleashed a spell that split the air with immense power, creating an energy wave that destroyed everything in its path. Alice commanded the others to evade and seek shelter. She knew that facing Amora in this state was extremely dangerous, especially with Marie's power now within Amora.

"Elena, we have to fight back! But be careful; Amora is stronger than before!" Alice shouted, trying to calm the situation.

"We can't back down. If we don't stop Amora now, everything will be ruined." Elena gathered her magical strength to attack Amora.

Elena seized the opportunity to counterattack, focusing her magical energy and calling forth a powerful spell to penetrate Amora's defenses. Elena launched her attack swiftly toward Amora. The battle intensified.

However, Amora quickly activated her magical shield to deflect Elena's attack, causing a magical explosion to rumble in the air. Alice carefully observed Amora's movements, realizing that the shield was not strong enough to withstand continuous attacks.

"Elena, Sandy, let's attack her relentlessly. I'm sure there must be a weak spot. This is our chance," Alice shouted while focusing her magical energy to create a barrier spell that could weaken Amora's shield.

Amora also demonstrated her magical prowess by creating increasingly brutal counterattacks, panicking the healer clan members. Alice unleashed simultaneous ice and wind attacks, directing the power toward Amora.

Alice's ice and wind attacks created a cold storm sweeping across the battlefield. The cold wave and fierce wind battered Amora's shield, causing it to vibrate and develop small cracks. Meanwhile, Elena and Sandy were ready with their magical power, using the gap to launch further attacks at Amora.

Amora felt overwhelmed by the relentless attacks. The initially strong magical shield began to crack and weaken under their magical pressure. Pain and exhaustion were evident on Amora's face, making it difficult for her to launch counterattacks with the same force as before.

"Amora, give up now! You can't possibly win against us!" Sandy shouted with a scowl at Amora.

"Oh, my dear. I won't give up easily. I will keep attacking you!"

Some of Elena's students created a strong magical barrier around Amora. This barrier not only acted as a shield but also absorbed much of Amora's magical energy. The plan was working.

The magical barrier was equipped with a spell. Even though she was trapped inside, Amora still refused to give up. Alice and the others continued their relentless attacks.

"We mustn't give up. Amora will definitely lose," Alice said with a joyful expression.

As Amora received continuous attacks, she began to feel her strength waning. This was a great opportunity to keep attacking Amora.

"Just give up, Amora. You won’t be able to defeat the healer clan members." Alice kept attacking, even though her own strength was almost depleted.

Amora's strength was increasingly absorbed by the magical barrier. Gradually, Amora's power started to diminish. Her magical skills were fading away.

"What’s happening?" Amora asked, panicking. "It can't be that I’m being defeated by them."

Marie’s voice came out of Amora’s mouth. Marie and Amora could no longer attack as their power had been significantly absorbed by the magical barrier.

"Impossible! How could this happen?" Marie couldn’t believe it.

Amora and the witch, who had previously felt unbeatable, were now feeling the effects of the various attacks launched by Alice and her friends.

"But how is this possible?" Marie asked, her voice filled with dissatisfaction. "My power is starting to wane."

"Useless witch!" Amora was angry with Marie.

They exchanged insults within the same body. Amora wanted Marie to leave her body. Though angry, Amora also felt deep frustration knowing that Marie was unreliable.

"Marie, if you can’t help anymore, you’d better get out of my body!" Amora demanded Marie leave, as her magical strength had now waned.

Alice made excellent use of this moment, planning her next move. She observed the enemy's weaknesses and knew this was the opportunity to end the battle. Amora felt increasingly desperate and could no longer exert significant magical power. Elena and Sandy were pleased, as they were close to winning this battle.

"Don’t get too pleased yet," Marie warned.

"Just admit your defeat!" Sandy shouted at them.

Amora showed a sullen face and was displeased by Sandy’s words. Marie continued to be blamed by Amora for the decrease in magical power.

"If we keep this up, we’ll lose, Marie."

"Amora, can you be quiet for a moment? Why don't you think of a way for us to fight them again with our magical power?" Marie tried to stay calm even though her power was also drained.

Suddenly, Amora felt a sharp pain in her chest. Her magical power ceased to function. Marie, inside Amora, began to exit slowly. Marie fell to the ground as soon as she left Amora’s body.

Elena, who was nearby, immediately captured Marie with her magical power. The old witch was trapped by Elena.

"Marie, you can't escape anymore!" Elena said, reinforcing her power to weaken Marie further.

Alice and the others felt more at ease now. Only Amora remained, and she had also lost much of her power. Amora’s gaze was fixed on Alice.

"You’ve destroyed everything I wanted, Alice!" Amora didn’t want to end her grudge.

"Amora, you should repent for all the trouble you’ve caused others. You’re blinded by your great ambition, which only brings chaos." Sandy kept pressing Amora to admit her mistakes.

"Why do you always blame me, Sandy? I did all this just to have you completely." Amora cried uncontrollably.

Sandy would never like a deceitful woman like Amora. The man grabbed Alice's hand and declared that they had won this major battle. Amora felt heartache seeing them close.

"Amora, you’ve lost decisively. Stop hurting yourself and repent," Alice gave a bit of advice.

"Nonsense! It’s all because of you!"

Suddenly, a thick black fog appeared and moved towards Amora. Alice and the others were shocked. A few seconds later, Amora vanished along with the black fog.

"Did Amora escape again?"
