CHAPTER 38
Her husband didn't get what he wanted and he now wanted to investigate Peter. If Peter learns the truth, then she was in trouble. Peter disposed the bodies of the people she killed and anything that was related to her job ever since she was young.
She really liked Peter and the granny but it was too bad that her secret should be kept by only herself. What kind of a secret would it be if many people know it?
Aurora took a visit to a forest she used to go when she was young. It was full of all sorts of shrubs and among those shrubs there were all kinds of poisonous plants. After searching for a long time, she found what she was looking for.
It was a tall shrub with long leathery leaves that grew in a group of three; it has bright clusters of flowers bloom at the ends of branches in the color white though others vary from red, pink to white. She smiled since it's been long since she had any need to look for this plant. She plucked out three leaves from the bush and placed them carefully in a plastic and returned back to the hotel.
She had left the hotel under the pretense of taking a walk in the nearby woods. Her husband let her be since it was near. When she arrived, her husband wasn't there so she took out the oleander leaves and began to squash them, draining all its serum.
Everything was ready and the only thing that was left was for her to make the personal visits and end it all before something began. She put the serum in her clutch and hides it well in her purse.
Her adoptive parents always taught her one thing every time she went out for a job, "never leave a witness."
It was always difficult to understand why but now she did understand. That witness might be the death of you in the end. And she didn’t want to meet her end that soon, she has a family to live for now and she didn’t want to lose this happiness she had just found.
She looked out through the window admiring the beautiful scenery when her husband walked in holding a box of pizza. She ran towards him and hugged him, she felt that she had missed him so much and seeing him right in front of her, she just wanted to bury herself in his warm embrace.
“I can tell you love the pizza more than me,” he teased her as he kissed her on the lips sweetly.
“I love you more but I'm just happy to see one in here,” she said taking the box from him as she couldn’t wait to devour the pizza and the man.
“How was your walk?” he asked her.
“It was good. Can you believe that there are fewer flowers in the woods? I couldn't even pick one,” she said with a pout as she took a piece and handed it over to her husband.
“You like flowers that much?” he asked surprisingly.
“Who wouldn't like them?”
“I will make a garden for you when we return,” he promised her and she smiled happily upon hearing that.
“Thank you; that would keep me busy.'
“It will indeed. So, what do you want to do when we return back home?'
“I can't go to work with you since I know absolutely nothing about what you do. So, can you open a shop for me?” she begged him with her huge doe eyes.
“What kind of a shop?” he asked her since there was no need for him to reject her.
“Coffee shop, I guess. I can have my coffee anytime I want,” she said.
Lucian laughed at her response and nodded.
“I will open you one if that will make you happy,” he said, as long as she was happy then he was okay.
“Thank you,” she said and sat on his lap.
“What are you doing?” he asked as she wriggled all over.
“Nothing really,” she said looking deep into his eyes but he could tell that she was being naughty and he like it.
She knew what she wanted and so did he. They were pretty good at reading each other’s emotions. He cupped her face with his hands and kissed her once and twice and she giggled happily like a baby.
“Is that all you got old man?”
“I have a lot in mind little lady and I will show you all,” he said and carried her to the bed to show her just how old he was.
She loves this man and she wasn't going to let anything or anyone take this away from her. She would obliterate anything, erase anything and remove anyone from existence if it meant her happiness. Now she would be happy and tomorrow she will start a new life.

Lucian was surprised when Aurora asked him to accompany him to see some old friends. He didn't tell her what he did and now she was taking him to see them. He agreed and wanted to see what she was up to. Their first stop was at a shopping mall where she bought some groceries for the old lady and clothes. It seemed like she meant a lot to her.
The driver took them to that old neighborhood and the old lady was there. She was happy to see them and she seems to notice that his visit was secret so she didn't say anything.
“I'm glad to see you again Olivia,” the woman said and Aurora smiled.
“I wanted to check up on you one last time before I leave,” Aurora said.
“That's very good of you. I'm too old and can't stand easily. Can you bring something for your husband to drink?” the old woman asked and Aurora stood up and disappeared into the kitchen.
“Thank you,” he said and the old woman smiled.
“I know how to keep secrets. Its better this way,” she said.
