Gabriel Petterson had put me in all my state, I was mad too even as the day passed by. How could he dare talk to me about this kind of subject, he was lucky I had another preoccupation if not he wouldn't be in a good health to testify what I would have done to him.

The purpose of today was to expose my conditions, and my contract to continue as a partner in this collaboration.

I spent all the previous day writing out the clauses and all I waited for was their arrival.

I sent them a mail informing them of the meeting today. The stunning part was the enthusiasm with whom Mrs. Lucas confirmed her presence.

Everything was going well despite the fact dad didn't want them to come to the mansion but as I have already invited them the only thing he had to do was to stay calm if he didn't want to evoke distrust.

I didn't care about their fucking rules all I wanted was my mate despite anything someone could say.

"Addams" he yelled at me, rushing himself to where I was sitting

"Yes Dad" I responded steadily

"What is this kind of shit you are doing?" he asked sternly

"What are you talking about?" I feigned not understanding what he wanted to talk about.

"How can you invite them here in this mansion, you know all the rules which are built there" He growled.

This time, he was furious, he started shifting from his human form to the beast, the wolf he was, and the house was filled with a feeling of animosity.

"There is no need to yell at me as you are doing" I raised my voice, he didn't want a confrontation so he came down.

"You don't have to break down everything we had invested a fucking time to build up" he prevented angrily.

"Nothing will be messed up, they won't know anything about us"

"And even if they were conscious of something, I know my mate won't betray me about anything" I explained.

"Stop talking about a fucking mate to who you can't succeed talking without raising an issue. She won't be yours" He argued however this time with a more composed tone.

"She is mine you will see it in a while. And stop talking to me about your fucking principles" I presented

"If my mate is supposed to be a human, then I will make her my Luna without any hesitation," I affirmed

"I can't understand why we should live hide from others, never reveal our true form with interdiction to marry a human"

"Damn No" I continued my monologue without leaving him space to reply.

"What the hell is that shit?" he cried out.

Before he could argue, his phone rang, it was Mrs. Lucas phoning.

"Allô..." she said

"Allô dear" he responded very calmly.

"We are about to come but we didn't know the way can you send us a driver who will direct us?" she pleaded.

"Ho yes. sorry I have forgotten please wait for a while"

"Okay thanks," she said, hanging off the phone.

He called the driver, giving him the address of Mrs. Lucas's mansion and he left.

The tension was appeased for a moment, there was no more time to waste arguing, however, I knew this conversation wasn't clear off.

Things had to be ready before they came, I called the maids to prepare everything to be ready at the time, and I went upstairs to get myself ready.

I entered the shower and took my bath, my father's words were in my head the way he told me she couldn't be mine.

'Maybe it is because she is a human ' I forced myself to believe this, yet, I knew something was deepening that I couldn't grasp.

I wore black pants with a long sleeve black shirt and put on a golden watch on my wrist I climbed down the stairs, to look at the meeting room if everything was ready.

The food, the table, and everything were perfect. I had an obsession with details.

After a while of waiting, dad came to inform me about their arrival, and he invited me to go and welcome them.

He didn't have to tell it twice, I was already on my feet and we motioned to the entrance.

Almost every member of the pack was in the yard, waiting to see who would come out of the vehicle.

As they climbed off, I heard everyone appreciate in a whisper to one another who was coming out of the vehicle, I smirked glad to know my Luna had this effect on everyone.

As they walked toward us, I heard others whisper "A human? What a human is doing here?" the whisper wasn't loud enough to be heard by them so I immediately ordered them to leave, and after a minute there was no one again.

"How are you doing my dear?" Mrs.Lucas was shaking my hand, she started by greeting me.

I was stunned, she had never started by greeting me, she had always begun by greeting my father. And this amiable scent she emanated was unbelievable.

What would have happened to her?

"I am fine, thanks, hope you are too" I responded to her greeting.

"Mee too." with a smile she said

"I hope this meeting will be worth my displacement" She expressed

"Surely it is," said I. Her gaiety was scary, though I remained calm.

She then whirled to greet my father and I motioned toward Whitney.

She looked at me with her cute angry peek, her blue sea eyes were always shining and bewitching.

"We have been gathered again Luna," I remarked.

"Don't misunderstand things, if I am here it is just because my mum had forced me to be polite and to respond positively to your invitation unless you won't see me" she justified her presence.

"Don't worry, I don't need you to give me your heart. I will steal it, I know I am able" I smirked and whispered into her ears, knowing what I had already prepared.

"Let us go in" My father advanced, and interrupted this little flirt. With no more words, I motioned to the meeting hall.
