"The way you had forced her father to sign this fucking document?" I expressed.
I looked at him, his eyes wide open, he couldn't believe what he was hearing. He couldn't believe she was Parker's daughter.
"What are you talking about?" he repeated, inching forward
"Her name is Whitney Parker and she is the daughter of the late William Parker, your first associate" I uttered sternly, angrily shifting into my wolf form. The more I thought about it, the more I became mad, and the beast inside of me growled with anger to come out.
"It is impossible" he contested, though, with a voice lower than mine like he was talking to himself.
He didn't cease, he repeated it once and once like, he wanted to believe it, yet the reality was different.
The pack's members were just silent, staring at us. They had formed a circle, surrounding us.
His hand on his head, he continued to protest "he didn't have any child" he blurted, this time louder to make sure I would understand.
"Are you certain of it, even after everything that happened?" I gave him time to remember everything.
He was speechless, his eyes wide open during the retrospection of all that moment since they met with Whitney.
His breath had changed, it was filled with more bitterness. He was mad.
"How have they succeeded to hide me they had a child?"
"I can now understand why she acted like that, that day we were talking of Parker" He murmured
"It seemed to be so unwholesome for her hearing"
He enumerated what this retrospection told him. He was hurt.
"And why? Tell me why Petterson has chosen to help her?"
"Why has he chosen to betray me after everything I did for him?" he asked with a little kick on Petterson's corps laid on the floor.
He wanted to know where he has been wrong, though, sometimes you can be detested by the one for who you make everything.
However, for him, it was just a matter of karma.
I was silent, all I wanted was just to defeat him with my hands.
"I need to know what was he motive"
"Tell me" he ordered.
Maybe talking about it would help him to think of something else, I knew when he would have the information he wanted to know, he would think of killing me.
Not before collecting that information.
"He wanted your place. He wanted to become the Alpha" I said it caring less about what those words could provoke.
He had never cared about the consequence of his behavior, thus, I would do the same.
"It is why he tried to be associated with Whitney to make you sink" I added, he had to feel the pain of the betrayal.
"Everything is clear now, I better understand why he pushed me for a confrontation with you" he mumbled, crashing Peterson's head with his leg.
"All he wanted was for us to murder each other and, easily, he would get the Alpha's place"
"What the shit," he said laughing.
He laughed, a laugh-filled with anger.
"Now for the last time, tell me where is she." He questioned inching slowly toward me.
Who did he think he was facing?
"You'll have nothing coming from me" I growled
"Okay, anyway, I will find her no matter the time it would require. You two know more than you should"
"Sorry but I will have to kill you" At these words, to be honest, my heart thundered, I was a bit scared, it wasn't easy to look at this massive alpha wolf.
Though he had to pay, I shouldn't fall here, she needed me.
I looked at the member of the pack, ready to react but, with a sign of the hand, he told them not to.
"I want to kill him with my hands" His alpha male husky voice roared.
"I am waiting for you" My wolf was craving to start, he has been waiting for it for so long now.
It was so weird for a man to be opposed to his dad, to fight, willing to kill his founder.
Even if he was a murderer, fighting him remains odd.
Though I didn't have any choice, he didn't bother himself about me being his child. He was eager to kill me, I would do similarly.
With a murderer's look, he motioned toward me.
I didn't remember the last time I have seen him in this form, in his wolf's form.
Have I ever seen him like that?
I didn't have any memory of it, it was the first time I had witnessed the Alpha's true form, and it was scary.
No wonder why Petterson had tried to make him sink using Whitney, it was hard to gather the courage necessary to face him.
If it wasn't for my Luna, I would have never faced him, the aura he emanated was so destabilizing.
But...
I had to defeat him.
A hit on my face pissed me out of this moment of wonder over his beast.
I was lying on the ground, unable to understand how he had managed to hit me before I could see him close to me.
We were both endowed with these physical abilities, super strength, super hearing, super speed, and so on.
However, he seemed to be particular, like his abilities have been tenfold.
Age wasn't a handicap for him.
The moment on the ground, I looked at him inching forward, with so much assurance like in some movies.
With another fast glance at the crowd surrounding me, the pack's members, I could read the mercy they had for me like they were wishing me to defeat him.
I stood promptly, as fast as I had understood the message drawn on their peek, ready to continue.
"I will show you what is the cost to betray me, the cost you have to pay for deciding to stand against me" His husky wolf voice sounded.
"You'll have a death filled with agony, a very long one" he mumbled.
The air, the dark of the night, and the sound of his voice, it seemed we were in a gothic film.
"After you, I will make sure this bitch should trespass" At these words, the spark in my heart burned.
I rushed toward him, with a rage ready to burn him.
I must kill for us to expect to have a peaceful life.
I had to protect her.
