Chapter 32

Steve sat in the chair beside Ash's bed and took Ash's hands into his as he sob bitterly
" it's .... all ... my ... fault .... o shouldn't have argued with you, I shouldn't have said anything about signing an agreement. I shouldn't have let you sped away in anger, Ash please wake up. Please don't leave us, it really hurts to see you like this "
he said between his sobs and stroked Ash's face and he laid his head beside Ash on the bed and continued to sob loudly. Ash who had already regained his consciousness felt extremely happy to know that Steve cared deeply for him but he pretended to still be unconscious thinking Steve might leave if he knew the he had already regained consciousness.
" Ash, wake up and let's go home together, I won't push you away again. You're breaking my heart by being like this Ash, I promise i will move in with you and I'll give you another chance as you wanted, didn't you want me to forgive you? Didn't you want a chance to prove yourself? Then wake up and prove yourself to me "
Ash's ears perked up as Steve said so in his sobs, Ash slowly brought himself up in a siting position and leaned his back on the bed stand as he run his hand through Steve's hair,
" Give me your word that you'll grant me a chance "
he slowly said to Steve in caution, Steve nod his head swiftly agreeing before he raised up his head in shock and Ash smiled warmly at him. Steve quickly jump and hug Ash as his tears continued to fall non-stop
" Ughh ... I'm still hurting, you shouldn't treat a patient badly even if you hate them "
Ash smiled softly and said to him as he slowly raised his hand and wiped Steve's tears.
" How are you feeling? Does it hurt badly? Are you in so much pain? "
Steve started to rain down questions on Ash which made him sighed.
" It hurts a lot but do you know what hurts most? You keeping your distance hurts more than this. You just gave me your word to move back to the mansion "
Ash took both his hands into his as he said to Steve.
" We will talk about that when you're all better and discharged, but for now I'll go get doctor Eliot "
Steve worriedly said to him and walked out of the room, Ash quietly watched his back as Steve completely exited the room and he sighed.
" What do I have to do to make you forgive me, Steve? "..
he silently whispered to himself sadly, Steve walked into the room with Eliot after a couple of minutes, Eliot checked up on Ash and all before he left them after he was done.
" Steve, I've had my things moved back to the mansion, I know you can't stand the sight of me so I'll give you the space you want. I just hope you will allow me to bring you to the hospital when you're coming for your check ups, please just that Steve "
Ash said to Steve as a tear drop dripped down from his eye which sent Steve's heart racing in blaze.
" I ... I'll ... move back with you "
Steve quickly said to him as tears pooled in his eyes
" I thought I was going to loose you, Ash I love you so much and I'd really go insane if I'd lost you. We won't be able to live without you. "
Steve said to Ash and his face beamed with sheer happiness
" so you're willing to forgive me and give me a chance? "
he smiled Bright and asked Steve which made Steve smiled warmly back to him.
" There's something I want to properly do after I am discharged from the hospital "
Ash said to him in a happy and serious tone
" What's that? "
Steve asked confused
" It's a secret and a surprise, just wait for it "
he replied and Steve pouted at him. Ash was finally getting discharged after spending a week in the hospital, his relationship with Steve had improved greatly and Steve no longer pushed him away. Steve walked him to the parking loft as the chauffeur was waiting to take Ash back to the mansion, the chauffeur opened the door for then and Ash sat in. Steve was about to close the door when Ash hurriedly stopped him
" Ain't you coming back with me anymore? "
Steve asked in a sad tone
" I will move back later, I have to get the moving company to move my stuffs back first and I haven't even packed yet "
Steve quickly replied to him
" Let's go back together now, I'll have uncle Vincent handle all that for you "
Ash said back to him with pleading eyes and he sighed and joined Ash in the car, the chauffeur started to drive after they both seated and Ash rested his head in Steve's shoulder.
" Thank you for agreeing, Steve I promise to treat you better and I'll make up for all the bad treatments I've done to you, I'll take responsibilities for both you and our baby so please just be with me "
he closed his eyes and fell into a slumber after saying that to Steve.
" I don't know whether it's a tight decision to trust you one more time, but what I do know is that I love you with all my heart and the thought of loosing you terrifies me so much "
Steve whispered into Ash's ear and placed a gentle kiss on his cheek...
" Ash wake up, we're at the mansion now "
he tapped Ash's shoulder as the chauffeur parked the car in front of the mansion and they got out and went in, the servants and uncle Vincent gave them a warm welcome.
" Boss, Young Master Steve dinner has been prepared "
Uncle Vincent said to them and led them to the dinning hall, after dinner Ash took Steve's hand and led him upstairs to their room
" Ash, I think I'll use my personal room for now "
Steve blushed and stuttered as he said Ash which made Ash frowned.
" Didn't you say you were giving me a chance? So why can't we sleep together in the room, is it because you haven't entirely forgiven me? "
Ash asked him in a very sad and gloomy tone.
" no .. no .. don't think bad ... I just thought it'll be inappropriate "
he shook his hands and said to Ash.
" What's inappropriate about married couples sharing a room and a bed? "
Ash asked and walked closer to Steve as he held his waist and pulled him to his chest which made Steve's face and body heat up, Ash slowly leaned his lips towards Steve's lips with caution as he feared Steve might get upset and push him. But to his surprise Steve also leaned in his lips and Ash quickly took his lips into his and started to kiss Steve slowly, but it soon turned passionate and hungry as they quickened the pace and they both moaned out loudly. Steve started to melt as his feet gave in and Ash carried him bridal style to the bathroom into the bathtub, Ash started to slowly undressed him as Steve's cheeks and ears turned beet red. After undressing Steve he also undressed himself and joined Steve in the tub.
" You're not entirely healed yet Ash, I don't think it's right to do this. What if your wounds opened up again? "
Steve worriedly said buy Aah ignored his remarks and started to kiss Steve's neck and his earlobe which made Steve melted more and more.
" Being discharged means I'm okay now, so there's no reason to be worried. More importantly I badly miss your touches "
Ash said to him, Steve was about to retaliate when Ash started to kiss him hungrily and he responded back. The next morning Steve jolted his eyes opened as he felt Ash's hot body against his, he place his hand over Ash's forehead and he started to panic
" Ash, you're burning up! "
he said and quickly run out of the room to downstairs to the hall, uncle Vincent who was busy with work started to get worried as he saw Steve run down the stairs
" Young Master it isn't good for you to run like that in your condition "
he worriedly said to Hinata
" Uncle Vincent please call doctor Eliot and inform him that Ash is burning up, he's needed here at the mansion. And get someone to to bring me a bowl of water with a clean cloth "
he said to Uncle Vincent in panic which made uncle Vincent started to panic too, Steve hurriedly climbed up the stairs back to the room. A maid knocked on the door as she brought what he had requested, he soaked the cloth in water and drained the water out before using it to clean Ash's sweat beads on his forehead and repeated so for a couple of times. Dr. Eliot soon arrived at the mansion and uncle Vincent led him to Steve and Ash's room,
" Eliot thank you for coming, please check up on him "
he said to Eliot worriedly as soon as Eliot walked into the room, Eliot walked to the bed and placed the case he brought with him on the drawer before opening it
" What happened? "
he asked Steve
" I ... don't know, I woke up this morning to find him like that "
Steve quickly answered back to Eliot who had already started checking up on Ash.
" How did his stitches open up? "
Eliot asked him and his face heated up and he turned which made Eliot sighed.
" Hinata I know you two just made up but can you both wait till he is fully healed? I bet you don't want him to be admitted again right "
Eliot said to him professionally and Steve nodded his head in understanding, Steve exited the room and left Eliot to do his work. After about thirty minutes Eliot climbed downstairs to Steve in the hall and Steve offered him a seat beside him in the couch.
" Eliot how's he doing? is he going to be okay? "
Steve worriedly asked Eliot
" I have stitched his wound again, he just need to rest up and take his medicines. You need not to worry too much, it isn't good for your health and the baby."
Eliot replied back to Steve and bid him farewell before walking out, Steve walked into the kitchen and asked a maid to prepare some porridge and brought it to him before he climbed upstairs to Ash. He was about to open the door when he heard a shattering sound from the room which made him quickly opened and hurriedly walked in, Ash was seated on the bed with his back resting against the bed head and on the floor was a glass shattered into shards. Steve worriedly walked towards the bed avoiding the shattered glass
" What happened? "
he worriedly asked Ash
" I felt thirsty and wanted to pout myself a glass of water, but I couldn't properly reach it and that happened "
he answered him and Steve sighed and poured a glass of water before making Ash drink it
