Steve left Rin in charge of his shop with Issac to assist her in times of need as he stayed home for weeks to take care and nourish Ash back to health, not only did he forgive Ash entirely in those weeks but their relationship improved more than it was at first. And even tho Ash wasn't in good health he tried all his best to prove to Steve that he had truly changed his ways and could be a better husband, Steve went with Ash to the hospital to have his stitches removed and also have his check ups done. They walked into Elliot's office when they got to the hospital, Eliot removed Ash's stitches and run Steve's check ups and scans
" Steve, don't you want to know the gender of the baby? "
he asked Steve who laid on the bed and peeked at Ash
" I'm okay with whatever you decide to do "
Ash smiled warmly and said to him and he ponder on it for a minute
" no, I want it to be a surprise for myself doctor Eliot "
he smiled brightly to him and Eliot nodded his head in understanding, he quickly got his work done and gave them the scans. They left the hospital after they were done, on their way home Ash decided to take a detour instead heading home,
" Where are you driving to Ash? "
Steve curiously asked him
" I did tell you I wanted to properly do something after I was discharged right, so sit tight and watch me "
Ash replied back to him as he smiled brightly and couldn't hide his happiness.
" Can you tell me what that is? "
Steve asked as his curiosity was getting the better of him.
" It wouldn't be a surprise anymore if I told you "
Ash teased back as he smirked and it tortured Steve more
" Okay at least tell me where you're taking me to "
he asked Ash in high hopes of Ash telling him
" Hmmm .... Nope "
Ash teased him more and he pouted before leaning back in the car as he closed his eyes and sleep took over his body, Ash glanced over at Steve and saw him soundly asleep which made him smiled warmly and stroked Steve's face gently.
" I promise to make you happy from now on Steve, I'll do better for both you and the little one "
he whispered and gently stroked Steve's belly, he continued to drive for an hour before he stopped the cat and parked. Ash gently started to pat Steve's shoulder trying to wake him up
" Steve we're here wake up "
Steve groaned as he slowly opened his eyes and glanced over at Ash, Ash held his hand out to him gently and Steve took it as Ash slowly helped him get down from the car. Steve slowly adjusted his eyes in his surroundings and he gasped
" Wow this is so beautiful Ash, where are we? "
he asked Ash as he looked around feeling stunned by his surroundings which made Ash smiled brightly and felt proud of himself.
" Let's go everyone is waiting for us "
Ash said to him and started to walk ahead as he slowly pulled Steve along with him.
" Where to? Who are they? "
Steve asked feeling very confused but Ash ignored his questions and continued to drag him along, after walking for a few minutes they came to a very cleared field decorated with flowers and there were chairs and tables arranged beautifully in the field
" Ash, what's all this about? What's going on? "
he asked Ash as he felt more confused, Ash smiled warmly and pulled Steve into a hug
" Happy Birthday my love, I am sorry I never once wished nor celebrated your birthday. But I promise you I'll celebrate all your birthdays with you from now on and I'll buy you the most expensive cakes to celebrate with, Steve I love you and I'm sorry for everything "
Ash said to him as he hugged him tight which brought tears into Steve's eyes and he wrapped his hands around Ash's neck and started to kiss him passionately, Ash reacted and took dominance and deepened the kiss. They were busily sucking on each other's saliva when they suddenly heard applauses and Steve broke the kiss, to his surprise there were crowds who gathered around then as they clapped and whistles and cheered on, he spotted Issac and Rin in the crowd which made his face heated up from embarrassment and turned to Ash who was now on his one knee and had a ring in his hand
" Will you marry me? "
Ash asked and he stared dumbfounded and stunned at Ash
" What are you even asking? We are already married! "
Steve replied to him confused
" Let's start everything over, I want our marriage to be as I proposed to you and not insinuated by someone else. If you say yes I've already prepared everything and we will get married now, but if it's no meaning you still haven't forgiven me and I'll wait till you do "
he sadly said to Steve in a low tone which made Steve laughed and extended his hand forward to Ash
" Yes, I will marry you silly "
he smiled brightly and said and Ash quickly put the ring on his finger before placing a gentle kiss on Steve's hand, he quickly stood up and led Steve to the alter which he had prepared and the guests he invited took their seats as the priest blessed their marriage once again. Celebration started to go on after the marriage, Steve and Ash stared to go around as they greeted and thanked those who were invited. He walked over to Issac and Rin who looked so happy for him
" Why didn't any of you tell me about this? "
he posted and asked them
" It wouldn't be a surprise if we did after we busted our asses setting all this for you "
Issac answered him and smirked playfully
" Wait what? You were involved in this? How come? "
Steve asked him in shock
" I was with Rin when he asked for help in choosing flowers at the shop, it was a sight to see "
Isaac laughed as he answered Steve who's face looked dumb and shocked, they continued to chat when Ash's aunt walked over to them and Isaac and Rin excused themselves.
" Hello aunty, thank you for coming so suddenly "
he politely said to her and she laughed which made him stared to feel nervous.
" I knew about this before his accident, that idiot actually came to me for an advice after you left the mansion "
she smiled warmly and said to him which made Steve started to panic.
" Aunty I am sorry for leaving without informing you "..
he nervously said to her and she shook her head and laughed warmly.
" I know you've been patience with him, whatever you had him go through he deserves more than that so you didn't have to feel sorry about that, the only thing I didn't find pleasant was you hiding your pregnancy from me too. Do not do that again, your health matters Steve "
She said as she slightly pinched his cheek and he nodded, Ash quickly walked to them when he saw them together
" the culprit has brought himself "
his aunt said playfully and Steve laughed
" What are the three most important people in my life talking about behind my back? "
Ash asked as he pulled Steve close to him
" Do you need glasses now? how many are we here? "
his aunt asked and slap his shoulder.
" There's you, Steve my adorable wife and my cute baby who's on the way coming "
he proudly replied to his aunt and he bend and kissed Steve's belly which made Steve blushed
" And if you mess up again I'm taking both of them away and you'll never see them again "
her face turned serious and she glared at Ash as she said that
" I won't mess up again, do you have that little trust in me? "
Ash also said to her in a serious tone
" Yes, that's why I am warning you now. I am going home now so have fun, Steve if he does anything bad to you again don't hesitate to call me "
she said and kissed both their cheeks before Ash sent her to her car, the clouds started to darkened as the day was coming to an end and the guests started to leave. Eliot walked over to them and congratulated them before he also left. Rin and Isaac offered then to help Mavis over see the closing of the party and asked Ash and Steve to go, they thanked them and walked to their car as Ash started to drive
" I think we'll get home really late, Ash let's call uncle Vincent to inform him "
Steve said to him worriedly
" I never said I was taking you home, I've already had a room booked in a nearby hotel "
Ash smiled and said to him
" Heh ~ you really did prepared today "
Steve said and glared playfully at him and Ash smirked, Ash parked the car in the hotel's parking loft and the they got down as Ash led him to the receptionist for their card, they took the elevator to their floor and went into the room Ash had booked. Steve walked into the bathroom and took his shower and walked out with the towel wrapped around his waist as he frowned
" You know what you didn't prepare? Spare clothes! "
he yelled at Ash who only smirked back at him before he walked to the wardrobe, he opened it and Steve's eyes almost bulged out if their sockets..
" I already had Mavis brought them over from the mansion, I've been planning this for almost a month now of course I wouldn't forget "
he laughed and walked into the bathroom and also took his shower before walking out, Steve walked to him as soon as Ash walked out of the bathroom and wrapped his hands around his neck and suddenly pressed his lips against Ash's lips, Ash was stunned at his sudden action but he welcomed it and sucked on Steve's lips as his tongue started to work in Steve's mouth.

Steve started to moan out loud and did he, he hurriedly raised Steve to the bed and slowly took off the shirt he wore before he also unwrapped the towel from his waist, he started to kiss Steve deeply while his hand slide down and played with Steve's nipples

Ash whispered into his ears and also closed his eyes to sleep. They rode back to the mansion the next morning and the servants and butler made a feast for them to celebrate the new marriage which was a joyous occasion for them.
Steve was now five months pregnant and his belly had grown bigger, Ash prevented him from doing anything tiring, Ash had prevented him from going to his shop but Steve got angry which made Ash gave in and allowed him to go. Steve was packing his belongings to go home after he had Rin and the workers closed, he was packing his belongings in his office when he started to smell something burning and smoke slowly started to fill his office. He started to cough and quickly walked out to the shop and he was shocked to see the flowers on fire and inside smelled like petrol, he quickly walked to the door trying to get out but he couldn't open it as it was locked from the outside. He started to suffocate and started to loose conscious as the smoke started to get into his lungs, he quickly took out his phone and called Ash.
" Help ... shop ... fire "
he quickly said to Ash as soon as Ash picked up the call before he lost consciousness.
