Chapter 44: Happy Pill

*"Thanks, Lee," I said. "Because of that, I’ll formally introduce you to Fire."*

*Her smile faded, and she didn’t say anything.*

*"Why?" I asked curiously.*

*"I already know him, so no need."*

*"I know you know him, but not like I do," I teased.*

**Chapter 44**

But it's different when I introduce you to her personally."

"I already know her, Sol. You're so annoying, huh? I'll smack you."

"Just do it already..." I pulled her down, and the witch didn't even budge. She's heavy, that's why I exerted so much effort pulling her. We were in the middle of pulling each other when a car stopped outside.

"He’s here, let's go," I said.

In the end, I convinced her. She walked beside me on her own. I met Fire outside the gate and immediately brought him inside. I didn't waste time and introduced them to each other.

"Lee, this is Fire..." I turned to Lillian. "Fire, this is Lillian..." I said to Fire, and I immediately noticed that he seemed very surprised to see my friend. Why is he reacting like that?

"I know him, she's the friend of my fckboy ex." Lillian said with a frown.

I felt guilty. That's why she didn't want me to introduce her to Fire because she really knew him. It seems like she remembered her ex because of my silliness.

"Are you okay?" I asked her.

"I'm okay. It's just that I was made to look like a fool. It's okay that he's dating us both of his bitch at the same time. He's so shameless. He thinks he's handsome, but he's actually a fool."

I winced at Lianne's words. I didn't expect that she was going through something like this. Why didn't she tell me?

Meanwhile, I heard Fire's faint laughter beside me, so I elbowed him. "Behave yourself, Callante," I whispered.

"I'm really okay. You guys should go, you have your final exams, right?"

"We're leaving now. Let's talk later," I said.

"Okay," she replied.

We were about to leave when Lillian called out Fire’s name. Fire faced her and waited for Lillian to speak.

"Tell that scumbag of a friend of yours that I've moved on. He’s not irreplaceable for a goddess like me. Let them all be together with her b*tches!"

Fire saluted jokingly and invited me to get in his car.

I'm not a gossip, but I want to know about Fire's friend—why Lianne is so angry with her.

Because of that, I couldn't help but ask. "Fire? Who is that friend, your ex's ex?"

Surprise registered on her face. I saw his Adam's apple move. He seemed nervous, and I couldn't figure out why.

"Are you okay?" I asked.

"Hmm... let's not meddle in their fight, okay?"

He smiled, so I just nodded. He messed up my hair and continued driving until we reached the university.

While walking, he held my hand. After a while, I saw Lorraine from afar, glaring at me. And it's not just Lorraine, almost all the girls we passed seemed to dislike me.

They were like planning to kill me with an evil look. If it had been fatal, I might have collapsed at the gate.

"Don't mind them," Fire suddenly whispered. I smiled and held his hand tightly.

He said goodbye after he dropped me off. "I'll come back later. Good luck, Solene." He kissed me on the forehead before leaving.

I went inside and just far away I could see some of my classmates surrounding my seat. They took off when they saw me coming.

"Yieee! You, Ramirez, huh? You didn't even say that Callante was courting you," Shiela said excitedly.

I just smiled and was about to sit down but I was stunned when a cute panda stuffed toy appeared sitting on my seat. Maybe this is the reason why I saw my classmates gathering here earlier.

I looked at the stuffed toy and noticed that it even came with chocolate and a small note.

"I still have a crush on Fire, sis. But come on, the crown is yours," said Melody.

I just smiled before taking the stuffed toy from my seat. I smelled it and smiled remembering the smell of Fire in it. And I smiled even more while staring at it. I also remember Tao from EXO.

After I stopped the stuffed toy, I took the card. I opened it and secretly laughed. I feel like I can do my finals perfectly.

Juice colored! Why is Fire so sweet? It might even be the reason for my early death. 'Then it will be announced on TV, 'Woman, died because of too much excitement’.

I shook my head because I was thinking about something. I just read what was written on the card again while smiling like an idiot. I will really believe Lillian that I am a fool.
