Chapter 45: Against His First Love

*I shook my head because I was thinking about something. I just read what was written on the card again while smiling like an idiot. I will really believe Lillian that I am a fool.*

*(the note on the card)*

*How can I not fall for this guy? He gave me so much happiness I thought I had so much heartache yet He gave me so much happiness I thought I*
*would never feel. He's the Fire that makes my life so bright and now he's my one and only happy pill.*

**Chapter 45**

I breathed a sigh of relief when I left the classroom. The finals are over and the sembreak is about to begin. I'm excited about what's going to happen, especially with my new job.

"How's your exam?" Fire said. I smiled because he was the first one I saw coming out of the room.

"Survived!" I answered with a smile. "Yours?"

"Two more exams," he answered. "I'm hungry."

"You haven't eaten yet?"

He nodded in response. I looked at the wristwatch I was wearing and saw that it was past one o'clock. I was surprised because he pulled me to the cafeteria.

While walking, I noticed the glances of our fellow students at the two of us. Maybe it's automatic that when you're with a celebrity, people around you will gossip about you. But in my situation now, I don't care what others say, as long as I know for myself that I am happy with Fire.

AFTER we ate, I stood up for a while to buy ice cream for dessert..

"You are greedy," said Fire in the middle of our meal. I was even surprised when he brought his face closer to mine.

"W-Why?" I asked in surprise. Who wouldn't stutter if we almost kissed when he was so close?

He grinned so I backed away. He pulled me back and stared at my lips. My throat felt dry because of his stares.

"F-Fire?" I said. But instead of answering, he slowly brought his lips closer to mine.

"Tempting..." Then I found him licking the side part of my lower lip, and the thought of it made me blush. Para akong nakukuryente. I found it sensual in a way.

I was only brought back to reality when I felt the melting ice cream drip on my hand. My eyes widened and I slightly pushed him away. Then, I looked at my hand at the stain from the sticky ice cream.

Before I wiped, I turned to him and the animal was busy eating again. He must have felt the stares I was giving him so he turned to me.

"What? I just removed the ice cream from your lips," he grinned.

This man really knows that I can't help him. Hmm!

And after we ate, we went straight to his hangout place which he said is on the rooftop. I held on to the railings as I closed my eyes while savoring the fresh air touching my cheeks. When I opened my eyes, I smiled. It's beautiful here. The smell of air and you can see the whole campus.

"It's beautiful here, isn't it?" I exclaimed.

"It used to be really beautiful here. But since I'm with you, it's even better."

I slowly smiled because of what he said. Even if it's really corny, but when it comes from someone I like, it will make my heart happy..

"This is where I first saw you," he said, causing me to be confused.

"But you first saw me at your bar, didn't you? That night you helped me."

He nodded and smiled but there was something strange about his smile that I couldn't explain.

"Serena, what if my forehead was wrinkled." There was hesitation in his voice

"What if...?"

"Never mind," he immediately retorted.

"If something is bothering you or if you have a problem, I'm ready to listen," I said and took his hand.

"I know," he answered, then gently squeezed my nose.

We also stayed on the rooftop for more than an hour. We just talked about somethings and because of that, I learned a lot about him.

"You, tell me about yourself...." he said when he finished telling his story. I pretended to be thinking deeply before answering him.

"There is nothing interesting in my life. You probably know that I don't have parents anymore and I am educating myself."

"I admire you for that," he said.

"Really?"

He nodded. "You had experienced hardships in your life and yet you didn't give up. You're here kicking asses and making me horny all the time,' he explained at length and my lips moved with what he said. He used that opportunity to seize it.

"Why do you have such lustful lips, Serena?" he said and captured my lips again. I closed my eyes and wrapped my arms around his neck.

"God! I can't stop kissing you.

"Fire..." I murmured in between our kisses.

"Hmm.

"You still have an exam," I whispered to him.

"Sh*t!" He let go of me but his eyes were still following my lips.

I jokingly covered his eyes which made him laugh. We immediately came down from the rooftop. Fire still has exams left and I'm done.

He wanted to take me back to my apartment, but because he still had exams, he couldn't. We agreed to meet on the East Side tonight at seven o'clock.

Tomorrow is the start of our sembreak, so before going home, I thought of going to my locker to get some of my things from there.

"Flirt!" I heard someone scream as I passed by the hallway so I just let it go. My parents raised me well. one more.

I don't want to fight just because of something that I know is not true.

When I arrived in front of my locker, I immediately took my things. I was about to close it when someone suddenly pulled me.

"Lorraine?"

Lorraine is standing in front of me and the anger can be seen on her face. Her one eyebrow is raised and she is staring at me.

"The thickness of your face is flirtatious" And a strong slap landed on my right cheek, at the same time as my belongings fell. I expected that so she was surprised to look at me with my complacent expression.

"What is your problem?!" I snorted.

"You! You're my problem! Ever since you came into Fire's life, you've taken him away from me! You're a flirt!" She was about to hit me again when I caught her hand.

“You're overdoing it, aren't you?! I'm not stealing anything from you and I'm not flirty!”

" "Why! You're getting brave, aren't you?" She shook my hand and was about to twist me but I immediately pushed her so she backed away slightly.

I used that opportunity to turn away from her. It's better for me to just leave than to lose my patience and I might end up beating her.

When I left the building, I met Shan. There was surprise on his face but I just smiled and passed him.

But I failed to escape because he caught my elbow. He also immediately scanned my face. "What happened to your face?" he asked.

I shook my head. "It's nothing. I'm fine," I excused myself.

He blew out air. "Do you want to eat? I'm hungry. Come with me."

I looked at my wristwatch and saw that it was still early. I remembered that Fire and I were going to meet later on the East Side at seven so I accommodated Shan.

We went to the nearest mall to eat. Then we went around inside before I decided to say goodbye. Shan insisted on taking me but I refused. I don't want Fire to get angry again just in case.

It was past six o'clock when I saw my watch, so I decided to go straight to the East Side. Shan got a taxi for me. It was only a few moments before I reached my destination.

I was about to get down from the taxi but suddenly I was frozen in my seat. I blinked twice to make sure I was seeing correctly. My chest suddenly tightened at the two figures.

Why are they together? And why are they hugging each other? It's like my heart is being squeezed by the image of that hug.

I don't want to doubt Fire's love for me, but as I looked at them, I felt like I suddenly became smaller.
