Chapter 20

I went back and forth to get the lotion and comb in front of the mirror while Savier looked at me. We were silent the whole time. From his car until I got here I remained silent. I finished the dressing up myself in the bathroom while Sav was in bed only wearing his boxer while looking at me intently. I ignored him even though I was already consumed by his stares. I was combing my hair in front of the dresser when his cellphone rang. I stopped for a while but continued as well.

"Hello brother Henry." I heard him. In the mirror I saw him came near me. My heart was pounding too much. I simply held onto my chest to calm it down. It's always like this when he's there.
I gasped when he hugged me from the back. "She's with me, brother." He nipped my ear sensually. I avoided that because of the tickle flowing through my system. "I'll take care of her." he says. He looked at me through the mirror. I looked down and put down the comb.

"She will sleep here." he says more. My forehead furrowed. How ironic right? He calls my dad while I'm just here next to him and he planted my shoulder with a kiss. He hadn't finished talking to papa on his cellphone. I untied his arm around my waist.

I lay down comfortably on the bed and put on a blanket. I saw him finished the call. He glared at me seriously. He turned off the light. Only dim lights from the lampshade illuminated the room.

I closed my eyes when I felt the bed sag behind me.
"You want milk?" he whispered in my ear. And now he's flirting with me?

I shook and hugged the blanket wrapped around my body more. I stared at him. "Do not talk to me!"
He took a deep breath. It seemed to extend his patience to me.
"You are mad." I did not answer. "Because you were jealous." he stated. He got it too!

"Yes I am! And you punched Caleb because you're jealous! So, I should punch Melody too so we're fair ?!" My voice were trembling and raised.
"What else." he said as if giving me time to blow what was in my mind.

"You are unfair! You were busy the whole week! Melody has more time with you than me! Tell me! Did you two kiss !? Have you two fucked ?! Have you moan her name-"

I stop when he rose from the bed. He leaned his head on the headboard of the bed.
"Come here." He touched my waist. I didn't want to drift but he was more forceful so when he lifted me I was stunned, I was held by his arm before he laid me on his lap.

"Shit! Savier!" I couldn’t stop slapping him.
"Is that what you learned hmm? Cursing too much?" he whispered again. He really likes to whisper in my ear sensually!

"Don't turn the tables! Answer me!"

He buried his face in my neck. "Every time Melody and I meet nothing happens because I know whats right and wrong Rox. My older brother is there. I am fixing some things in the company."
"What's the connection? '' I fired back.

"Family Ruiz will pull back their shares if the wedding will delay. Melody is back for that. I know you can't understand this because you don't know the world of the company. I was busy the whole day to meet the investors to be able to raise investments the company will lose a lot if their shares are pulled out. I am here making a plan that even if I step back, my brother and I will not lose what we have worked so hard for. That's why I am busy. ". My boiling blood eased a bit. My eyes dimmed. That I realize that for us everything he does.

"Why would they just pull out now when their daughter left to go abroad?"
"That's a private thing baby. You don't have to bother. I'll take care of it. Now lets back from what you've done. Dancing with Caleb huh ? The fuck Roxette! "he hissed.

"I am jealous Sav! What do you expect ?! No fucking way!" I sighed brutally at him as he hugged me tightly.

"I just made a fool of myself for you?"
I saw him looking at me. I shrugged and stared at him. I know that ofcourse.

"Yes! You are such a fool!" I thought he was annoyed but he just laughed. I feel him sniffed my hair.

"When will you stop making me fall hard, hmm? When?" he said huskily and languidly pull my chin to face him. He was looking on my lips.

"I want to marry you so much, baby. So fucking much." He said painfully like he was being said would not be fulfilled. Because not really. I felt shallow for us. I do not know where this love bring us.

"We can't marry each other S-Sav. I am Dela Rama. You are a Dela Rama."

"Bullshit!" he cursed with accent. I smiled weakly. This is all we can do for the rest of our life Sav. Then I didn't want to take the risk. But I find it harder to hide especially when I know we feel the same way. Fate really a bitch. It played us. And it making me fucking crazy how we can escape to this real world.

Two days passed and everything went well. Now we are in an expensive restaurant. I asked for this simple birthday dinner. Today is my debut but here is what I asked my papa. I lost my appetite celebrating my passed birthdays with a grand celebrations. I want it simple now. Papa occupied the VIP room for us. There’s a lots of food in front of us. We are all formal. Aunt Anna is here. Marrie hasn't come back yet. Aunt Anna were in front of us.

I noticed papa's seriousness. Earlier he gave me an MK watch but I was even more impressed with the necklace Sav gave me that was worth a few karats! This is what I'm going to save but he bought it for me first!
"I've heard Ruiz Company is failing. Did you snatched their investors Sav?" Dad asked Sav. Sav's jaw tightened and he glanced at m, seems unwilling to talk like this in front of me.

"Let's talk about it later."
Dad cough and glanced at the two of us.

"Hija! If you don't have an idea about your wedding gown just tell me okay?"

"H-Huh?!" I wondered what Aunt Anna said. Sav stiffened. I feel it. I saw it.

Aunt scratched her head and looked at papa seriously. "Did you tell her honey? She asked him.

"Not yet."

"Oh!" Auntie laughed. "I think it's a surprise for you hija!"

"W-What surprise?" my heart pounded. Sav didn't move. I saw his fist balled.

"Should I tell her honey?" she asked papa.

"Tell m-me what?" I can't stop being hysterical.

"Calm down hija."

"You were bound to marry Caleb Santiago. I think you were in good status right? They'll be coming in any minute, hija." Papa said mercilessly and even got to drink some water. My lips parted. shit! Caleb ?! No!

Before I could react violently Sav stood up. "We talked about this right?! " he fired papa in disrespect . My eyes heat and my tears started to form.

"It's not enough Savier!"
I can't get them. All I felt was hurt and anger.

"But I am trying!" Sav said almost a growled. His face were red then he pulled me.

"Where are you two going ?!" papa also stood up.

"We're leaving! She's not going to marry Caleb ! Not any one!"

"Because you like her ?!" papa shouted at us. My eyes widened. Aunt Anna were shocked too. Sav gripped tight on my waist. I felt his hands were trembling. My vision is blurring because of my tears.

"You thought I didn't know!"papa shouted. I saw his eyes were red too. He seemed to want to cry. "I'm the reason Melody is back here! I know what's going on with you ! You are sinners! I'm working on a way to stop your illicit relationship! But you're tough! "

Sav jaw clenched. "I love Roxette so much." with full emphasis he says. I close my eyes too I can't speak. I'm so embarrassed, nervous and scared.

"Roxette will marry Caleb and that's final!" Sav nodded and pulled me away. Before we could turn around, papa pulled me and punched Sav. Sav retreated. Suddenly the door opened and papa six body guards entered.

"Throw that man out ! Don't ever show me Savier because I'll kill you! " I felt papa's trembling as he hugged me. I tried to break his grip to ran for Sav who was already being dragged by papa's men.

"Papa! Please! Don't!" I almost knelt down but he pulled me upright.
"Let me go!" Sav shouted. He was pulled out but he resisted. I saw him kicked and punched those guards but they punched and kicked him back. Sav is big and tall but he can't do anything when six people punch and kick him at the same time.

"P-Papa no ! Stop them! "I cried. I tried to get away but papa was stronger. It hurt me to see Sav being punched. His face was almost covered in blood.

"Throw him out after it! He deserves it! I don't have a treacherous brother!" papa said almost a cursed. I begged and cried. My sobs echoed. Savier groaned painfully. I covered both ears and cried a lot.

"Stop!" I shouted. Papa and aunt Anna gripped tight on me so I couldn't get away. This is the worst day of my life. My birthday is hell.
