Chapter 13: The Bold Ugly Girl!

**Suddenly, there was a "click" sound and the door to the bathroom opened. A deep and unhappy voice sounded, "Julian, are you calling for me?"**
**It really was Dominic!**
**Ava could tell it was him just from his voice alone.**
**So she had hidden in Dominic's bed to avoid Julian?**
**What kind of twisted fate was this? How many times had she ended up in Dominic's bed?**
**Ava held her breath and tried to lie flat so that neither uncle nor nephew would discover her.**
**"Dominic, my dad told me you got married and married the most beautiful daughter of the Bennett family - New York's number one beauty Kylie. You didn't even tell me such a big ****news****! I want to meet my ****aunt****!" Julian complained.**
**Dominic had just finished showering and wore a white bathrobe with refreshing water droplets on it. He looked particularly young and handsome as he spoke indifferently, "Okay, come over for dinner at home in a few days."**
**"Well then I have to take a good look at how beautiful ****she ****is," Julian said.**
**As Ava listened to their conversation under the covers, she suddenly felt someone get onto the bed - it was Dominic!**
**Oh no! Don't come near me!**
**Ava's heart raced as she prayed silently but unfortunately heaven did not hear her plea. Soon after, Dominic lifted up the covers and climbed into bed with her.**
**When he came in earlier he sensed something unusual; there was someone hiding under his blanket! Over these years too many women threw themselves at him or business partners would strip naked beauties clean before stuffing them into his blankets. Suddenly narrowing his eyes sharply like an eagle eyeing its prey while raising an eyebrow menacingly enough that water might drip out of it any moment now; which woman dared sneak into his bed?**
**Ava's face, with its long scar, suddenly appeared in his line of sight.**
**It was her.**
**This little maid, the ugly girl!**
**Dominic's handsome face became dark and gloomy. This little maid had a lot of nerve to sneak onto his bed like this.**
**Julian couldn't see inside from where he was standing. He took out his phone and wondered aloud, "Dominic, have you seen Ava that ugly girl? I heard she also came to The Williamsburg Hotel but I didn't see her. She doesn't answer my calls either."**
**Dominic sneered; he saw her alright - this ugly girl is now hiding under his blanket!**
**Ava wished she could find a hole to crawl into at this moment. Her small palm-sized face turned as red as cooked shrimp and she didn't know how to face Dominic anymore.**
**Facing Julian's inquiry, Ava looked up at him with clear bright eyes and shook her head pleadingly not wanting him to reveal me yet; just let me hide for a while longer please.**
**But Dominic had other ideas. He got up immediately intending on pulling her off the bed and throwing her out.**
**No! **
**At the critical moment, Ava threw herself over him and hugged tightly around his waist like a small water snake wriggling around trying to seduce him?**
**Dominic's back stiffened against the headboard as he quickly rolled twice in frustration; damn it all! His body inexplicably produced an evil fire within himself...**
**"Dominic why aren't you speaking? Have you seen Ava that ugly girl?" Julian asked again through the phone.**
**Quickly covering Ava with the blanket so that Julian wouldn’t see what’s happening underneath it all; Dominic shook his head saying "no".**
**"Well then I'll go look for myself," said Julian before hanging up.**
**Now there were only two people left in the room: Dominic and Ava. Dominic lifted the covers and angrily said, "Have you had enough? Let go!"**
**Ava had never been so embarrassed before. She quickly let him go but her long hair got caught on his bathrobe button, pulling her back towards him.**
