**Ava ran while looking back at Rosalie, and soon she bumped into a sturdy chest.**

**Dominic was unmoved and walked upstairs, avoiding her.**

**A small hand reached out and grabbed his suit sleeve. Dominic turned his head from her soft white fingers to her little face, only to see Ava looking at him pitifully with her black-and-white eyes. "Please, my family is in the hospital and needs expensive medical treatment every day. I really have nowhere else to go..."**
