Chapter 24 Block Him

**Ava received a message from an unknown number, "Break up with my nephew immediately!" These simple and domineering words made her guess that it was Dominic who sent the message.**
**How did he know her phone number?**
**Ava looked at Kylie and asked, "Kylie, tell me where Mrs. Foster is."**
**"Ava, do you think I'm stupid? If I tell you, then you won't listen to us without Mrs. Foster."**
**"Then look at this." Ava took out a photo of James Brown pressing Kylie on the bed in the hotel yesterday.**
**"When did you take this photo? Give it to me!" Kylie's face changed drastically.**
**"Kylie, if you don't tell me where Mrs. Foster is, I will send this photo to Dominic. Not only will your position as Mrs. Harrington be compromised but also the Bennett family will suffer," Ava threatened.**
**Kylie turned pale; she didn't expect Ava would use yesterday's incident against her today. She realized that Ava was not easy to deal with.**
**"Ava, please don't tell Dominic!"**
**"Then quickly tell me where Mrs. Foster is?"**
**Through gritted teeth, Kylie gave the address of a private hospital.**
**"Thank you for your help this time," said Ava as she left abruptly without any intention of returning again.**
**Wait! Who would accompany Dominic tonight? This thought made Kylie anxious like an ant on a hot pan.**
**That night when Dominic returned home with his secretary and entered his study room...**
**“Have we contacted CC yet?” He asked while reviewing some documents without looking up.**
**“Yes sir,” replied his secretary respectfully “but there has been no clear response from CC yet.”**
**“Get someone to bring coffee over here,” ordered Dominic.**
**“Yes sir.”**
**Soon after that request was made by him; The housekeeper brought coffee into his study room saying: “Mr. Harrington, your coffee.”**
**“Where is Ava? I didn't see her when I came back. What is she doing if not working?” Dominic put down his pen.**
**“Ava has resigned as a maid,” replied the housekeeper's wife.**
**Resigned?**
**Did she go to work for his nephew as a personal maid?**
**He had warned her twice already; first to stay away from his nephew and secondly to break up with him immediately. She dared to ignore him like this!**
**Dominic took out his phone, found Ava's number, and dialed it.**
**At the hospital, Ava was sitting in Mrs. Foster's ward holding her hand quietly when her phone rang again - it was an unknown number calling once more - Dominic again!**
**Why was he calling her now?**
**Now that she had found Mrs. Foster, she would no longer be under anyone’s control anymore! She wouldn't return to that villa nor work as a maid for him anymore! They were done!**
**As for losing herself to him at The Williamsburg Hotel and spending two nights with him...it could all just be considered a dream since he didn’t know about it anyway.**
**Ava hung up the call and blocked his number directly.**
