Chapter 16 Almost Discovered

**Dominic, who was originally planning to get on the car, stood up straight and looked over here. Ava wanted to strangle Julian and immediately hid behind him, not letting Dominic see her face. "Mr. Harrington, please don't tell anyone about my embarrassing situation, especially you****r uncle****, Dominic."**
**"Why?" Julian asked puzzledly.**
**"Because...the reasons behind it are complicated. Mr. Harrington, I beg you not to talk about this matter and keep it a secret for me."**
**Seeing how serious Ava's expression was, Julian nodded in agreement. "Okay then, I promise to help you keep the secret but you have to promise me one thing too."**
**"What is it?"**
**"Be my girlfriend."**
**"This person is taking advantage of the situation," Ava thought to herself. "No way Mr. Harrington! I've already told you that I don't like you so please don't waste your time on me okay?"**
**"But give me a chance too. Let's try it out for a month first. If after a month you still haven't fallen for me then I won't bother you anymore."**
**Did she have a choice? No she didn't because Dominic had already started walking towards them with his long legs.**
**He was getting closer and closer; if she didn't agree now everything would be exposed.**
**"Fine! I agree! Now excuse me while I go touch up my makeup." Ava turned around and ran away.**
**At that moment Dominic walked over and glanced in the direction where Ava disappeared from before pursing his thin lips unhappily at Julian saying: "Julian what are you shouting about here? Did I hear correctly that you called me over just so that I could see Ava's face? What happened to her face?"**
**"Oh Dominic! Yes indeed! You should come take a look at how ugly Ava is today compared to yesterday. Hahaha!"**
**Ava, who had just finished touching up her makeup and returned, "...Thank you for keeping my secret!" she thought to herself.**
**"Ugly girl come over here! Dominic, I officially announce that ugly girl is my girlfriend now. She has agreed to date me." Julian said.**
**Ava felt Dominic's cold and sharp gaze fall on her; it was almost as if he was ****killing** **her.**
**She had just gotten off his bed not too long ago and now she was dating his nephew. It wasn't surprising that he would think of her as a shameless woman.**
**"CEO, the meeting is about to start in half an hour. We should head back to the company." The secretary reminded him softly.**
**Dominic withdrew his gaze and turned around to leave.**
**He finally left; Ava slowly relaxed herself down again.**
**"Ugly girl, I'm very loyal right? I didn't reveal your secret at all. Come on let's go out tonight! I'll take you out for a movie."**
**"No thank you Mr. Harrington, I don't want to watch a movie with you. I'm leaving first." Ava followed suit and left.**
**As soon as she left, a melodious ringtone sounded from her phone - Mrs Bennett was calling her.**
**Ava answered the call by pressing the button: "Hello Mom."**
**"Ava! You need to come home immediately!" Mrs Bennett hung up with an icy tone of voice.**
**Ava took a taxi back home - The Bennett Family.**
**As soon as she entered the living room, Kylie's crying could be heard: "Mom! This is the message Ava sent me intentionally inviting me over to Room 809 so James Brown can bully me!"**
**Kylie looked disheveled and miserable at this point in time.**
**Mrs Bennett hugged Kylie tightly while comforting her when she saw Ava return home before standing up accusingly saying: "Ava, you're too scheming and malicious! You actually tricked your sister into Room 809 to be bullied by James Brown. Do you even know who James Brown is?"**
