Chapter 31
**On the second night they slept together, he kissed her deeply and she blushed.**
**Dominic went to the study while Ava went into their new room alone. She took her nightgown and headed to the bathroom for a shower.**
**Soon after, Dominic returned as the door opened. Ava's phone was on the bedside table when it made a "ding" sound indicating a new message had arrived.**
**Dominic didn't mean to invade her privacy but since the screen lit up with an automatic pop-up notification of Julian's text message to Kylie, he couldn't help but notice it.**
**His eyes darkened in suspicion. Why would Julian send messages to Kylie?**
**Just then, there was another sound of "click" from the bathroom door opening and warm steam mixed with fragrance filled the air as Ava walked out.**
**Dominic turned his head towards her and said, "Julian sent you a message."**
**"What?" Ava froze instantly.**
**Dominic looked at her suspiciously from head to toe and asked, "Why would Julian send you messages?"**
**Ava felt like she would be killed by Julian sooner or later. She tried hard to remain calm as she approached him and took away her phone saying, "Oh well... doesn't Julian have feelings for that little maid named Ava? So he wants me to know more about what kind of person she is."**
**She smiled slyly adding,"It seems like Julian has taken quite an interest in ****Ava****. I think they make a good match together don't you agree?"**
**With no hint of emotion on his deep-set eyes Dominic replied coldly,"I don’t think so. Julian is simple-minded while someone like Ava isn’t suitable for him."**
**So that was why he always opposed them being together!**
**"I don’t see how Ava offended you though? Why do you have such strong prejudice against her?" **
**As Dominic walked closer towards this girl with her freshly washed face, blushing pink and looking as tender as if she could be squeezed out of water, he couldn't help but pinch her small face before saying a few words,"She's not as clean ****and innocent ****as you are."**
**So he thought Kylie was clean while Ava was dirty** **and evil****?**
**Ava became furious. She suddenly stood on tiptoe and kissed his thin lips directly.**
