Chapter 6 The Love Letter She Wrote

Ava went to university during the day and after class, she stood by the roadside trying to hail a taxi back home. Unfortunately, no taxis were willing to stop for her. Just as she was about to give up hope, a Rolls-Royce slowly pulled up in front of her.

The world-class luxury car worth millions exuded an aura of supreme extravagance. The rear window rolled down revealing Julian Harrington's handsome face: "Ugly girl, do you need a ride? Get in; I'll take you home."

Everyone called Ava "ugly girl". Julian was one of Ava's classmates -the school heartthrob- known for his bullying ways.

Since there were no other options available at that moment, Ava reluctantly got into the car with him saying: "Thank you."

As soon as she sat down on the back seat of the car though, Ava regretted it because she saw someone familiar driving them -Dominic!

"Ugly girl let me introduce for you; this is my uncle Dominic," said Julian while pulling out a love letter from his pocket.

What?! Dominic was Julian’s uncle? This couldn't be just coincidence...

"Dominic listen carefully; this ugly girl has been crushing on me for ages and even wrote me a love letter today. Let me read it out loud for you," continued Julian before reading aloud:

"Dear Mr.Harrington,
I really like you so much! I adore your sexy thin lips and want to kiss them passionately. I also admire your six-pack abs and would love nothing more than ripping off your clothes right now. Although I'm not pretty myself, please allow me to be your girlfriend because I am very gentle-hearted." Signed Ugly Girl-Ava"

Ava was stunned. When did she ever write a love letter to Julian? It must have been one of her classmates playing a prank on her.
Julian had noticed Ava before in university; many people made fun of her, but she remained calm and collected -a very special person indeed.

"Ugly girl, I never knew you liked me so much. Alright then, let's start dating from now on. You're my girlfriend," said Julian as he put his arm around Ava's shoulder.
Just as Ava was about to react, the screeching sound of brakes interrupted them: Dominic had stopped the car by the side of the road.
"Julian get off the car," commanded Dominic with his deep magnetic voice.
"But I haven't arrived yet!" protested Julian.

"You go ahead by yourself."

"......" Julian was very afraid of Dominic, so he let go of Ava. "Ugly girl, we'll see each other tomorrow. I'll take you on a date tomorrow. Goodbye, Dominic."

Dominic stepped on the gas and left.

Now there were only two people left in the luxury car, and the man didn't speak while Ava sat very restrained.

Fifteen minutes later, the Rolls-Royce stopped at the villa gate.

Dominic got out of the car and Ava followed suit. At this moment, the man's low magnetic voice sounded again: "Don't seduce my nephew."

Ava looked up at him as his cold figure disappeared into the villa.

Ava lowered her head; he must have thought that she wrote that love letter herself. Did he think she was just a bad girl who liked to tease men?

After finishing some work in his study room, Dominic returned to his bedroom but couldn't fall asleep.

The fragrance on the bed had completely dissipated without any scent which caused him insomnia again.

Dominic pinched his brow and dialed a number: "Ask Mrs Harrington to come upstairs."
