Chapter 25: Crashing into Dominic's Arms

**Inside the villa, in the study.**
**Dominic was very angry because Ava hung up his phone. How dare she hang up on him? He dialed her number again, but the prompt tone came back saying "Sorry, the number you have dialed is not in service area." He tried two more times and got the same response.**
**"****President****," his secretary cautiously spoke up at this time. "Please don't call anymore. ****Ava****'s phone won't go through."**
**"Why?"**
**"Because...****Ava** **seems to have blocked your number."**
**Dominic had never been blocked before. His dark eyes instantly froze over like ice, and his face became so gloomy that it could drip cold water.**
**This foolish little maid!**
**The secretary was scared out of their wits by Dominic's reaction, but due to their professional training as a secretary, they could only comfort him by saying: "****President****, ****Ava** **is no longer your maid now. If she hangs up on you when you call her, it's normal."**
**As soon as he heard this statement from his secretary, Dominic shot them a look that could kill with just one glance: Can you speak** **some good words****? If not then shut up!**
**The secretary immediately closed their mouth.**
**At this moment, Dominic's phone rang and CC Perfume replied.**
**"****President****," said the message from CC Perfume. "...she says if you want to customize perfume for yourself then please make an appointment with her assistant and wait in line."**
**What?**
**Seeing that his own ****President’****s expression couldn’t be any worse than it already was; The Secretary quickly added “****President****，CC is indeed very busy right now with many orders coming in daily，so waiting in line can be understandable.”**
**Dominic’s gaze drifted towards them once again with killing intent: You better stop talking or get out of here!**
**Now there was only him left in the study. Dominic felt his mood become heavy, and he didn't know if it was because of CC or Ava.**
**He had encountered many people who weren’t afraid of death, but this year seemed to have an abundance of them.**
**Dominic got up and walked over to the floor-to-ceiling window where he could overlook the night view of the entire city. He now stood at the pinnacle of wealth and power, with few people or things that could affect his mind. He possessed a level of calmness and restraint that surpassed ordinary people.**
**But who knows if accidents will come tomorrow? To him, Ava was like an unexpected intrusion into his life.**
**He found himself being influenced by her emotions which was a bad sign.**
**It's better for her to leave; they won't have any more contact in the future.**
**Dominic left the study and said: "Where is Mrs. Harrington? Let her come into my room."**
**"Mr. Harrington, Mrs. Harrington just went back home," replied his secretary cautiously. "I heard that Mrs.Harrington's mother fell down so she went back home to take care of her."**
**Kylie ran away scared anyway since Ava wasn't there anymore to seduce her husband; She can use this excuse as a reason for leaving early until she gets CC Perfume then return later on when everything has settled down again.**
**Dominic frowned slightly: "I see."**
**He returned to his master bedroom, took a cold shower before going to bed but tonight’s sleep seemed particularly long as he couldn’t fall asleep no matter what he did.**
**He began missing Ava's body scent along with how warm she felt sleeping in his arms last night...and also their lingering kiss from yesterday...**
**The next day,**
**Dominic first went to work at the company where everyone sensed their CEO’s bad mood so nobody dared provoke him today.**
**Someone quietly asked the secretary, "Who provoked our big boss?"**
**"Probably because of a little maid."**
**A little maid?**
**Oh my god! Everyone immediately thought of a love story like in the drama series “The CEO Falls In Love With The Maid”!**
**After work, Dominic drove to Rose Villa to visit his niece Rosalie Harrington.**
**He entered the password and opened the door. As soon as he walked in, he heard Rosalie's laughter: "Ava, stop running away. I really have something good to show you that only best friends share."**
**"No!"**
