Chapter 42 It's Just a Game

**Madam took the fragrance bottle and smelled its refreshing scent. She liked it very much and immediately put the fragrance bottle on herself, "Wow, it's so beautiful. Kylie, Mom really likes this gift."**
**At this moment, a steady footstep sounded and Dominic arrived.**
**He looked at her and said, "Back already?"**
**Ava looked up and saw the man's unparalleled handsome face.**
**Unlike his cold eyes towards her last night, now his eyes were warm - they were for Kylie.**
**It was completely different.**
**Ava nodded, "Mm."**
**"Then you should rest soon." Madam urged them.**
**Dominic held Ava's small hand and led her back to their room.**

**In the room,**
**Dominic felt that her hand was very cold. "What happened? Why is your hand so cold?"**
**Before he could finish speaking, Ava withdrew her hand from him. She also took off the jade bracelet on her wrist and handed it to Dominic. "Here you go."**
**Dominic glanced at the jade bracelet then shifted his gaze onto her small face as he asked in a low voice,"Why? Don't you like it?"**
**"Mm... I don't like it." Seeing that he didn't reach out to take it from her hands, Ava placed the jade bracelet on top of their bedside table instead. If something wasn't hers she wouldn't want to keep it anymore.**
**Last night made her realize clearly about who she was - this was just a game; she shouldn’t indulge herself any further.**
**"I'll take a shower first." Ava turned around into their bathroom.**
**Dominic watched as she left before lying down on bed himself. Soon after taking a shower Ava came out too but kept some distance between them while sleeping together.**
**Dominic stretched out his arm saying,"Come here."**
**Ava moved over until she slept in his arms. The girl closed her eyes, and her long eyelashes fell quietly like butterfly wings. She was obedient and fragrant with the scent he liked.**
**Dominic touched her small face with his hand, "What happened today?"**
**Ava turned away from his hand avoiding it,"Nothing much, just a little tired and sleepy."**
**Dominic's hand froze in mid-air; not only was she cold towards him tonight but also didn't let him touch her.**
**He lay back down for a few seconds before looking at her again. His gaze landed on her tempting red lips.**
**He leaned over to kiss her.**
**The girl did not resist but neither did she cooperate - she passively accepted as he kissed and played around with her lips.**
**Dominic pressed half of his body onto hers. Seeing that she wasn't too willing, he placed one big hand beside Ava's body while speaking in a low voice filled with tenderness,"Mrs Harrington, open your mouth."**
**"No." Ava opened up blinking at him playfully,"Just kidding, can't I?"**
**"..."**
**"I'm really tired today so I'll sleep first." Ava turned around leaving behind only the softness of her back for Dominic to see.**
**Dominic himself lay back down then got up after a few seconds to take a cold shower in their bathroom.**
**When he came out Ava had already fallen asleep - this heartless little thing.**
**Dominic turned Ava over until she slept in his arms once more when suddenly his movements stiffened because through the collar of clothes he saw an exquisite three-petal peach blossom birthmark below the right side of Ava’s clavicle!**
**The pink three-petal peach blossom bloomed vividly on top of white porcelain-like skin making it almost enchanting.**
**She actually had such beautiful birthmark!**
**Because its location was quite private being located lower than usual so it was difficult to be discovered under normal circumstances.**
**It reminded Dominic about that night when she appeared on his body after he returned to the country. At that time, he saw this three-petal peach blossom.**
