Chapter 209: Machala

Two nights later, my dream was back. My sister watched me from the mirror. She spoke, but I couldn't understand. I made a grab for her hand as it turned to dust beneath my fingers. She swept away on the wind and I couldn't breathe.
"Shh, babe, breathe." It was Luke.
He rolled us so I was on my back, his lips against mine, with his hand at my throat. He added pressure and I froze until he eased his fingers back. His cock entered me. He restricted my breathing again and again until I came so hard my toes curled.
"Tell me about Vachala," he said after rolling over so I lay on top of him.
I hadn't spoken freely about my sister since she disappeared. I had told the private investigators details about our location in India when my mother sold her, but they never asked anything personal. Bittersweet thoughts of her poured into my mind. "She would run so fast she'd trip constantly. She always beat me in any race. I cried and she laughed. I think she was a demon in disguise. The only way anyone could tell us apart was because she never sat still. I would stand in front of mirrors after we moved to the U.S. and imagine I was speaking to her. Every day I think of her." My heart eased a bit more with the words.
"You think you can sleep now?"
"Yes, thank you."
"Don't move," he said as I went to roll off. "I'm your pillow for the rest of the night."
"Lumpy pillow," I muttered groggily and barely felt the pinch to my hip.

I went back to work a week later. The dreams came with less frequency, but I knew they wouldn't disappear and they hadn't. What changed was my fear of sleep.
"You look good," Danny said after giving me a long discerning look.
I couldn't help smiling. "I feel wonderful."
"May we talk in your inner office for a few minutes?" he asked. I could tell he felt uncomfortable. All of a sudden a sense of dread came over me. Danny could not quit.
I led the way and he shut the door behind us. I couldn't let him say the words and I opened my mouth to speak... he beat me to it.
"I owe you an apology." He took a step closer. "I don't understand your lifestyle, but that's no reason for my behavior. I'm sorry for how I acted on the phone." He quickly looked me over again. "There's something different about you and if Luke's the reason, I owe him a thank you."
I could breathe. He wasn't leaving me. I took the last step and wrapped my arms around his neck. "I love you, Danny. You're the big brother I never had."
He returned my squeeze before pulling away. "What's changed?"
I wasn't ready to spill my guts about my sister to Danny and might never be. Sharing her with Luke was different. He was a part of me just as Vachala was. "Today at four o'clock, Luke is picking me up so we can shop for a ring."
A tentative smile traveled across Danny's features. "Congratulations, Machala. Luke is a lucky man."
"We both are. We're having a small ceremony with friends. If you're willing, I'd like you to give me away."
The smile touched his eyes now. "I'd be honored."
"Thank you. Now let's get to work. I'm sure the place fell down around your ears while I was away."
"Nearly." He rolled his eyes. "Please tell me the ice queen hasn't gone far, because we have a few matters that need a glacial touch."
"Then get your ass in gear and I'll put my bitch face on."
And life resumed with a major difference. Each night I went home to Luke. He wasn't an easy dominant, but I wasn't a pushover masochist either.
***
We were married in Krispin's backyard. Poor Angela was ready to pop and she didn't travel far from home, so the location was a compromise. Jewel and I arranged everything and refused to allow Angela to do more than wave her hands in any direction. The swelling in her feet and ankles was enough to firm up my decision against children. Luke said it was a subject we could review every few years. I could live with that.
The day was perfect. I didn't wear a typical wedding gown, but Luke wore a three-piece suit with a striking pink and gray striped tie, which he removed moments after he kissed me as his bride. He placed the tie around my throat and it accented my dress, which was strapless with soft pink flowers on white cotton. Over the next two hours, we celebrated with Luke pulling me here and there with the tie. The guys thought it hysterical, but my panties were so wet I could hardly put one foot in front of the other.
I don't know if it was the excitement from the wedding or just Mother Nature, but Angela's water broke and ended the celebration early. I didn't care because I needed Luke to fuck me. Not one bruise marred my body before our vows were exchanged and I don't know who it was harder on.
I woke up the following morning still secured to his bed with the tie and deliciously sore. Luke was talking softly on his cell and smiling.
We hurriedly got dressed and went to the hospital.
Alexander William Righteous weighed in at seven pounds and seven ounces. He was beautiful. I looked up from the blanket-covered bundle in my lap and Luke winked at me. My heart melted. We would discuss children sooner than a few years.
I enjoyed watching the bad boys of rock pass Alex around. Their hands were so much larger than the baby's head, but their gentleness belied their bad reputations. Jewel's baby bump was just showing. Matt and Stephon took turns rubbing her belly and whispering things in her ear that had her blushing.
This was my family now too and it was incredible to be part of such an amazing group. Angela sat up in bed exhausted but happy, Krispin never far from her side. Jewel's men kept her close.
I gazed at Luke, a warm feeling running through me clear to my toes. Bad girls needed bad boys to make life work. No one else could handle us.
