Bloodthirsty
Seraphina felt a strong tremor all over her body, she had not been this scared in her life since her encounter with the boy in the lavender garden. True, it could be said that this was the same fear she felt at that time. The fear that caused her to have a high fever and continue delirious while sleeping.
"How about this? how about this? how about this? what should I do? I don't want to come to that forest again!" She was sobbing, trying to be strong even though she couldn't.
This was a strange dilemma, because a while ago she had resolved herself to surrender her soul to the demon who had helped her find the silver leafy plant. However, as a human, she cannot deny that fear is part of her weakness.
Aaauuu...
The howl was heard for the third time. There was something strange about the howling sound, which sounded different from the wolf howling she used to hear. The oddity further strengthened her premonition that the howling was a signal for a call from the mysterious young man.
"No, I don't want to go there anymore. I'm not going to that forest again. If I don't come, I don't think he will catch up with me to the palace, right? he won't be that close. Yes, that's right, I don't have to keep my promise and I'd better sleep! " She muttered as she lay on the bed and pulled the blanket over her whole body.
She tried to close her eyes and cover her ears with her hands. This was the hardest part of breaking the promise she had made, even if it was a promise with the devil.
"But, what if he comes and uses his power to burn the palace? what if that happens? If there will be big trouble!"
She stretched, this attempt to sleep seemed unsuccessful because her brain didn't stop thinking about the problems she was currently facing. Heavy, it feels very heavy. She began to realize that being an adult meant that she had to learn to solve her own problems.
"Aaagh...I can't sleep! damn, do I really have to die? Is this the end? Hiks-"
It seems that there is no other way but to surrender, this is a risk she has to bear and if she really dies at the hands of that young man, Seraphina hopes that the plant that she has exchanged for her life can cure Xavier from his illness. That way, maybe her mother could be happy and her father would also feel proud, because he hoped that Xavier would replace him as King of Evangelia.

"All right, I'll leave you here. Go home now!" She said to the brown horse which she named Boni.
After Boni took her to the entrance of the forbidden forest, now she had to continue on foot.
The wind blew hard, blowing the leaves. Seraphina raised her head, her eyes staring at the sky that was darker than usual because of the moon which was covered in black clouds. She was worried that the torch in her hand had been blown off before she reached the place where she met the wolf demon.
"Goodbye Xavier, goodbye mother, goodbye father, goodbye grandma, goodbye everyone. Don't forget me!" She said before taking her feet through the dense and terrifying forest.
Her hands were shaking so that the torch in her hands also trembled. Seraphina is a little sorry, why did she change her mind and come back to this forest? And yet she probably could pass this cold night under the covers in her warm room.
"Stupid, you idiot! why did I come back here? what was I thinking?" She thought rebelliously. What she was doing right now was just counting the seconds of her death.
Srreeekkk...srreeekk...
"Who is there?" She shouted spontaneously when she heard a voice behind the bush.
Seraphina aimed her torch at the bush in front of her. Her heart was beating so fast, that she could hear the sound of her heart that seemed to jump out of her body.
Sreeekkk...sreekkk...
The bushes were still moving, she was afraid but she was curious about what creatures were hiding in that place. It's quite worrying if there are other wild animals such as snakes or coyotes that will attack it.
"W-who is there...?" She shouted frantically. As if she knew someone was screaming at her, a deer came out from behind the bushes and immediately left the place.
"Deer, huh? Oh my God, I thought-"
"Who do you think?" Asked someone who was already standing right behind her as she was busy watching the bushes.
She was surprised and immediately looked back when she felt the sound of breath in her ear.
"Y-you s-since when?" She asked. She was too shocked to speak properly.
As she was worried, this youth could feel her presence in this forest. He stood quietly, looking at Seraphina with a murderous look that made the hairs of his backs rise.
"You intend to break your promise, don't you?"
"N-no, w-who said? I-"
"Do you think I don't know? Didn't you hear when I called you?"
"Calling? When did you call me? I have no idea!"
"Howl, you must have heard it!"
"So, that howl is really you?" She continued to swallow until her throat felt very dry. To be honest, she felt very uncomfortable with the way this young man was looking at her. Sharp, bullying and very hostile. Like a bloodthirsty creature who is always ready to kill at any time.
She still couldn't believe her guess that this black haired young man was the crown prince of Fotia whom she had met in the lavender garden five years ago.
"S-so, are you really going to kill me?"
"Do you think?"
"T-that, I-I can you give me one more chance? I hope you-"
"Follow me!" He said without listening to Seraphina's plea until it was finished.
"Where?" She exclaimed. The young man walked in front of her and turned slightly to warn she not to try to run away from him.
