The Murderous Gaze

Seraphina couldn't describe how scared she was right now, her steps were very heavy to follow the young man. He took her deeper into the forest, the atmosphere was getting tense because the wind was blowing tighter.

She is trembling even more, she doesn't know where he is currently taking her. The young man gave absolutely no clue, but to walk forward and force her to follow him.

"Where is he actually going? Ouch, I want to pee. How is this?" She thought as the strong urge began to creep up around her bladder.

"Ugh... I can't be held back anymore!" She growled. She hated it when she had to resist the urge to urinate like this. It felt very uncomfortable and made her nervous.

She glanced at the young man whose name was not yet known. It had been three minutes that he had not looked back to make sure she was still following him. Suddenly a clever idea popped into her head, as the heir to the throne who was notorious for being naughty, a little cunning and stubborn made Seraphina think that she could practice her mischief here.

She hought that it was safe to think that she could find a safe place to pee.

"Uhm...is there just behind the bushes? No tissue, is there water?" She thought. She found a bush that was quite tall beside a big tree.

"All right, just behind the bushes!" She thought as she crept towards the bushes on the right and hoped the young man didn't notice.

Sure enough, she managed to hide and turn off the torch so as not to be caught. After expelling her wish, Nathania felt great relief.

"Ugh...relieved, I almost peed in my pants."

"What are you doing?"

"Aaagh...you pervert!" She shouted hysterically when she saw that terrible face emerge from behind the tree, looking at her who was still crouched and had not put her underwear back on.

"What are you doing?"

"I peed, can you turn around first. I want to wear my underwear!" She asked with a face that started to turn red because it was the first time a boy was peeking at her like this.

This young man looked very calm, as if he didn't feel guilty at all for making a girl scream. He didn't even hear Seraphina's plea to turn around and kept a suspicious gaze.

"Just do it and hurry!"

"B-but, you have to turn around first! Don't look like that, it's rude!" She asked. The young man seemed indifferent, his face looked more and more annoyed and his hands clenched tightly, it made fire appear in the bushes and started to burn the leaves.

"F-fire? W-why is there a fire? Aaagh..." once again, she screamed hysterically when the fire burned the leaves around her. She immediately got up and jumped towards the young man.

Bruuukk...

Her body hit the young man hard, making them lose their balance and fall on top of each other. She realized that she had just done something stupid and too reckless. Now, she must be ready to face the wrath of the devil whose face is right before her eyes.

"I-I'm sorry, don't kill me. I beg you!" Seraphina hurriedly got up and pulled her body away.

The young man was silent, the fires that burned the bushes disappeared. He didn't know what had just happened to him, but he felt strange about a situation like this. Made him think that he had to take immediate action to kill this girl as soon as possible.

Raindrops began to fall, the young man stepped towards the large tree in the middle of which there was a tree house that was seen vaguely because there was almost no light in this place.

"Hey, where are we actually going? Is it still not time for you to kill me?" Seraphina said when she realized that her body was wet because of the increasingly heavy rain.

The young man didn't respond, in front of the big tree, he immediately climbed the steps. She thought that they should take shelter first, but the young man immediately stopped her before she went any further.

"You stay there, don't go away trying to run away again!"

"B-but it's raining? Can't you let me into that place too?" Seraphina slightly begged him to be allowed to enter.

The air was very cold, not to mention the darkness in this forest made her very afraid to meet other demons. However, it seemed that she had to give up her hopes because this cold-hearted youth had absolutely no intention of helping her.

He immediately entered and closed the door, from outside, Seraphina could see light from inside the tree house. Her body was shivering, the air was colder than she thought, especially because the clothes and wig she was wearing were completely soaked.

"It's so cold, is this how he killed me? By letting me freeze to death like this?" She thought. She couldn't think straight because her brain had to go the extra mile to find a way to warm her cold body.

She could not bear it, the only option she had to take was to go up to the tree house and stand at the door, begging the devil to let her in, even if he had to kill her.

Knock...knock...knock...

She started knocking after gathering her courage, it was cold outside not the way she was dying to die. The young man opened the door, his murderous gaze appeared behind the door.

She was surprised to see this young man shirtless, showing good muscles and wearing only brown trousers. His hair was still half wet, that cold face without a smile made her nervous.

"Didn't I tell you to wait outside?"

"T-that, can't you let me in until the rain stops? Don't you want to kill me? If I stay outside, I can die before you can kill me!"

"That's what I want!"

"W-what? Are you serious? Aren't you-"

"I am a monster, so I want to test how tough my prey is to stay alive before I kill it. I don't like weak prey." The words sounded terrifying. Those eyes were even more terrifying than before.

Seraphina could not believe that leaving her outside in the cold was part of her method of killing. It was really scary, seeing someone so calm about to kill someone.

She was silent, she didn't have a chance to beg again this time. At first, she thought that her death would be quick and easy. That way, she didn't have to suffer any longer. But in reality, this terrible demon still wanted to mess with her.

The young man closed the door again, leaving Seraphina outside and enduring the torrential rainwater and the strong wind that was blowing. She was crouching under a tree, hoping the dense leaves would keep a little bit of the rain.

Her body was shivering and her face was very pale. Seraphina hugged her body, wishing there was a little warmth she could feel. However, everything that was happening now made her miss Xavier a lot.

"Xavier, have you regained consciousness? I hope you are fine,"

She magined Xavier lying on a soft bed covered with a warm blanket. She missed her room, at these moments, she thought that the clothes of the boys who filled her wardrobe were still better than one wet dress.

"I want to go home."
