In The Dark Forest
"Ouch...shame! why am I so careless? just because I was invited to his house, I became too confident to sit in the chair over there with him!" Seraphina thought. Too embarrassed, she couldn't even raise her face red like a boiled crab.
Perhaps, she didn't really notice that Aiden was paying attention to her, especially since her blushing face. What was this young man really thinking? It feels very difficult to predict because during his life he rarely interacted with other people.
Aiden sipped the tea in the cup, after tasting the taste of the tea made by Seraphina, it seems there is no reaction that is good enough to judge the tea made.
"The taste is so thick, you used too much tea!" He said giving an objective assessment.
"R-really? So, it feels so bad that it can't be swallowed?" Shecshocked that her tea is far from being delicious, shows an exaggerated reaction thinking Aiden might kill her after tasting the bad tea she made.
"You never make tea?"
"I-I that, I just-" she replied stuttering. Of course, this was not a question she could answer as easily as telling her favorite food or cake. This is a little difficult because it implies that she is not used to doing the work of a waiter, such as cooking or making tea.
Aiden seemed to quite understand Seraphina's hesitant gesture. Even while speaking, she was reluctant to look at Aiden. It was clear as if there was something she was hiding.
"I actually, I can make tea, but maybe because the tea leaves are different from what I usually use, so-" poor Sera, she still tried to give an answer even though she knew that she was cornered.
The only thing Aiden gave was the sound of the tea he sipped and slipped into his throat. Aiden didn't even want to wait for her to answer correctly. After finishing his tea, Aiden immediately got up and took a chair in the corner of the room, he closed his eyes as if trying to sleep by folding his arms across his chest.
"What is he doing?" She thought. Aiden let her stand still in place while he slept.
It felt so strange, she was at a loss for words to describe how strange this demon who was with her was. He finished the tea which he said was terrible and didn't touch the cookies at all.
She was a little in disbelief if Aiden was really sleeping, isn't it too reckless for the devil to seem to fall asleep in front of his prey as if he knew that she would not be able to escape from him.
Slowly, she walked towards Aiden. Carefully watched Aiden to see if this young man had actually fallen asleep or not. She was too reckless, watching Aiden's face from a very close distance.
"His eyes are closed, it looks like he's really sleeping. What should I do now? should I just go home? But, if he wakes up and realizes I just left without his permission, he will definitely look for me and immediately kill me on the spot!"
Seraphina sighed, for nearly 15 years of her life, she has never been so worried about her survival. In fact, you could say, she underestimated everything in this world.
Magnificent palaces, flower gardens, delicious food always served on the table, large and spacious rooms, fine clothes and people who always greeted her and bowed their head to her, that was all she knew about life.
But Aiden, she knows that he is the crown prince of Fotia who for hundreds of years was involved in fighting with Evangelia. She wondered why the king's son seemed to live in the forest like this?
It felt too strange, considering that Aiden should have lived with his family in a magnificent palace, not a tree house in the middle of a dense and dark forest.
She couldn't take her eyes off the sleeping Aiden's face, even when he was sleeping he frowned, as if he was still lurking about prey in a dream.
"His lashes are really long, they are beautiful!" she said with a smile. Because she was too carried away by the beautiful scenery before her eyes, she didn't realize that her hand was touching Aiden's face.
"Ugh-" Aiden grimaced in his sleep. As if there was pressure or pain he was trying to endure.
"W-What's wrong with him? What a nightmare?" She panics. She was even worried about someone who wanted to kill her.
"A-Aiden calm down, everything will be fine. Trust me, everything will be fine!" Seraphina whispered while gently rubbing Aiden's head to calm him down.
It seems that what she has done has helped Aiden overcome his nightmare. His face looks more calm and peaceful.
The quiet night atmosphere in the forest made her feel sleepy. She wondered, was it sinful if she fell asleep at a time like this?
However, sleepiness gave her an answer. The only thing she can do is fall asleep and forget everything.

Aiden opened his eyes, there was something strange and unusual he felt when he woke up from his sleep. There was a girl's hand gripping hers tightly and it wasn't Sheera the sorceress. Aiden opened his eyes wide when he realized that the hand was the hand of his prey.f
Seraphina fell asleep leaning back on the chair Aiden was in. Her sleeping face looks very innocent without sin. Aiden hated to see her, the desire to kill her was great. However, there was a part of him that struggled to fight against that desire.
"Tch, shit! Why is she doing it all?"
Even though he was annoyed, Aiden still let Seraphina hold his hand tightly that didn't seem to be released until she woke up.
Aiden kept his position for 15 minutes. He felt stupid for waiting for this girl to wake up, while he could just force her to wake up.
Finally, she began to show signs of waking up from her sleep soon. Her body twitched to the point where her eyes opened and consciousness regained consciousness.
"Hoam..." Seraphina yawned wide with no guilt at all for sleeping casually and holding other people's hands too.
"Oh hi Aiden, good morning?" She said with a smile bright like the morning sun that was starting to rise to the surface of the sky.
Seraphina who is so innocent and naive, doesn't realize that she has just incited anger from a creature she won't want to see again.
