The Crown Prince Of Edafos

The man grinned, Seraphina seemed to have to admit that this young man in front of her had a very handsome face. His eyes sparkled golden and his smile looked different, as if he didn't belong to this world.

Shevwas stunned, she hadn't even had time to wipe the remaining tears that were still lingering on her eyelids. The beautiful phoenix has now transformed into a young man with a golden smile.

"Why are you so stunned? Just now, you were fascinated by me, right?"

"N-no, who said? I'm just confused, how can a bird turn into a human," she answered innocently. Looks like she forgot someone who has the same abilities like him.

"Hm...really?" He said uncertainly. He walked over to Seraphina who was nailed in place.

The more you look at it, this young man looks even more amazing. There was light shining around him.

"These tears of yours, what do this mean?" He said while wiping Seraphina's tears. That made her even more motionless when the young man touched her face.

"W-who are you? What are you doing here?" Because she was too nervous, she immediately brushed the young man's hand away from her face.

"You don't know who I am? Shouldn't we meet today?"

"N-no, I didn't see you at all. Don't lie! If you're a wizard, I'll call the guards to arrest you!"

"What? Catch me? Hahaha...you are so funny, huh? How can you order those weak people to catch me? Instead, why don't you just do it? aren't you the descendant of a god?"

Again showing that strange smile, Seraphina began to feel uncomfortable. It seems that catching a human who can transform into a bird is not an ordinary human and catching him is not an easy thing to do.

"So, what is your purpose in coming here?"

"Nothing! I just wanted to meet the would-be ruler of the world's greatest dynasty, Xavier Alexander Zafeiri. I'm glad to finally met you, you know? I really wanted to fight you just to find out how strong you are? but it seems, I already know who is the winner, Prince Xavier!"

"All right, then see you?" He said before finally his form returned to a phoenix.

"Hey, wait! Don't go...!" Seraphina tried to stop him, but she didn't seem like she was fast enough to do it. The bird flew up into the sky until it was finally out of sight.

"Who is he? What is the purpose of coming to this palace?"

"Xavier, what are you doing? Why is it taking you so long?" Asked Queen Alexandra to Seraphina who finally appeared in the palace dining room.

Seraphiny was late and it made everyone wait for her, including the royal guests of Edafos and Obelia. Tonight is a dinner together to strengthen relations between the three kingdoms and Seraphina doesn't feel that she has any interest in this dinner together.

"I'm sorry, I overslept!" She said. King Roderick immediately glared at her, because he felt that Seraphina had given a frivolous excuse.

"All right, then, let's start the dinner!" Said King Roderick to the waiting guests.

"Sorry I'm late!"

Apparently, it wasn't just Seraphina who arrived late and made everyone have to wait 30 minutes. However, a young man who seemed to be part of the royal guest had also recently set foot in the palace.

"Prince Keith, where have you been?" Asked Queen Liana, wife of King Jacob De Velgmegeur.

Everyone immediately focused their attention on the figure of the tall and handsome young man. He wore the clothes of a king's son which made his charisma shine through his facial features and body language.

Even though almost all eyes were dazzled by him, it seemed that only Seraphina did not share the same opinion, but her surprise at the figure she saw before her eyes.

"Wizard? You're that wizard, aren't you?" Seraphina said spontaneously. The words came naturally from her heart and mind.

Hearing her statement made everyone surprised, how could she easily mention the word wizard in a crowd like this?

"Wizard?"

"Hey, didn't I tell you I'm not a wizard? It seems, it's quite hard to get a great prince to believe!" The young man said calmly and casually. A faint smile painted on his face, there was confidence that really radiated from his eyes.

"It seems Prince Xavier has misunderstood him, he is not a witch. He is my eldest son, heir to the throne of Edafos, Prince Keith De Velgmegeur!" Said King Jacob to explain because his son was mistaken for a witch and it seemed that made him a little offended.

For a moment everyone was silent, while the King Roderick tried to hold back his anger at the reckless accusations that Seraphina spoke to the heir to the throne of the kingdom of Edafos.

"Prince Xavier, looks like you just made a mistake!" King Roderick said, looking at her with terrible intimidation.

Seraphina felt suffocated, seeing her father's murderous gaze that was even more terrifying than Aiden the murderous demon.

All eyes were on her, looking at her with different judgments. Although most felt that what she had done was not a mistake, for the King and Queen of Evangelia, what she had done had embarrassed the kingdom.

"I'm sorry, it looks like I've done something wrong!" Because she didn't want to prolong the problem. All she had to do was apologize even though it was also a shame because the king's descendants shouldn't apologize.

"Yes, that usually happens. I think it's because Prince Xavier hasn't seen Prince Keith this afternoon, right?" Said Queen Liana trying to break the tense atmosphere.

"That's right, how about the two crown princes get to know each other first?" Queen Erika of Obelia said.

"Xavier, come on!" Queen Alexandra immediately took the opportunity for Seraphina to stop being such predictable nervousness.

Seraphina who is already feeling cornered, will surely remain in her place feeling guilty and inferior. Meanwhile, Prince Keith who had high self-confidence, walked calmly towards Seraphina before taking his hand out to shake.

"Greetings, Your Excellency the great Prince Xavier Alexander Zafeiri. I am Keith De Velgmegeur of Edafos. It is an honor to meet the main heir of the Kingdom of Evangelia. I hope that in the future our countries can cooperate with each other!" He said with full charisma. Prince Keith managed to stun everyone, including Prince Samuel who had never seen a young man equal to even greater than him.

Seeing a scene full of inequality like this made everyone disbelieve that the crown prince of Evangelia who should have acted as an alpha, instead looked helpless in front of the heir to the throne of a country that was only a quarter of her kingdom in size.

"I'm Xavier Alexander Zafeiri, nice to meet you!" she said briefly and not manly at all.

King Roderick felt very ashamed, this is why he had so fiercely educated his crown son all this time that he had his abilities, strength and way of thinking surpass him. Now, he truly felt that Samuel was much more worthy of being the heir to the throne.
