Chapter 439 Don't Be Stubborn, You Must Drink It
Lela shuddered; a thought flashed through her mind. Sylvester had already heard her recovery, so she had to run quickly.
However, just as Lela struggled to leave, Sylvester yanked her back. He lifted her with one arm, his left arm supporting her buttocks, and hoisted her up.
Lela confronted Sylvester, her slender arms resting on his shoulders. She looked at him and sighed inwardly. ' I still can't escape that.'
Butler watched from the side, finally feeling relieved. They couldn't control Lela; only Sylvester could.
Sylvester asked, "Are you still trying to run?"
Lela tilted her head, blinked, and looked into Sylvester's slightly dangerous eyes. "Sylvester, if I said you misheard, would you believe me?"
Sylvester heard this and curled his lips. "Sure, if you're not well, then keep taking the medicine."
As he spoke, he reached out. Butler, with an impeccable sense of timing, respectfully handed over the medicine.
Sylvester took it and brought it to Lela's lips. "Baby, drink it."
Lela disliked the smell. Ever since the trip to The Divine Doctor Association, where she learned that making Mutants was a forbidden method, she had instinctively rejected medicine.
But during her weak period, she had no choice. For the past few days, Sylvester had been watching over her, and she couldn't refuse, so she forced herself to drink it. Now that the weak period was over, she didn't need it anymore.
Lela furrowed her brows and pushed Sylvester's hand away. "I won't drink it. I'm already better."
Butler watched from the side, thinking that Lela was probably the only person in the world who dared to throw a tantrum at Sylvester.
Sylvester stared at Lela with a hint of coldness in his eyes, and said in a deep voice, "Don't be stubborn. You must drink it."
Sylvester thought, 'Lela is now even lying to avoid taking the medicine.'
Sylvester easily lifted Lela with one hand, moving her slightly up and down. His handsome brows furrowed; Lela was still so light and claimed she was better. These past few days, he had been making different dishes for Lela. He watched her eat quite a lot at each meal, yet she was still so light.
Lela bit her lip. "I won't drink it. I already said I'm better. Sylvester, you're so annoying."
With that, she struggled to get down.
Sylvester held Lela tightly, not letting her down. His eyes instantly turned cold. "Say that again!"
Lela once again felt the strength difference between her and Sylvester. No matter how strong her combat skills were, she was still no match for Sylvester.
Big White saw this, barked, and rushed over, pouncing at Sylvester's feet. It roared and then opened its mouth, ready to bite down.
Lela was startled and shouted. "Big White, no!"
Big White, with its mouth open, looked up. Its azure eyes were filled with ferocity.
Lela struggled to break free from Sylvester, hugged Big White, and softly said, "Big White, be good. You can't bite Sylvester !"
Big White looked at Lela, the ferocity in its azure eyes slowly dissipating. It closed its mouth and turned to look at Sylvester, baring its sharp teeth, crouching in a ready-to-attack position, and slowly retreating. Even as it backed away, it kept its gaze locked intently on Sylvester, afraid he might harm Lela.
Sylvester didn't care about Big White at all; he just kept staring at Lela. He took a deep breath, turned around with the medicine, and left.
Lela squatted on the ground, feeling her heart clench again as she sensed Sylvester's departure.
