Chapter 453 The Almost Extinct Encial Font

Dorothy whispered, "You just came over last week, so you might not know. Lela is indeed pretty, but she only knows how to dress up. Her grades are at the bottom. A student like her has no interest in solving problems. Reminding her is pointless; it won't make a difference."

Nora frowned slightly upon hearing this. "Dorothy, you are a highly respected teacher leading the best class. Please regulate your words and actions."

Dorothy's face turned sour after being reprimanded. She thought, 'Just because she's the principal's daughter, does that make her so special?'

Meanwhile, Lela started writing her name, filling out the answer sheet, and doing the questions one by one. She finished quickly.

The exam room was very quiet, with only the sound of students writing furiously.

Although the students of Class 12J were usually noisy, they were well-behaved in formal settings. Besides, they still remembered the bet with Class 12A. When Class 12J got serious, they never lost.

With half an hour left before the papers were collected, Lela had already finished her test. Since the midterm exam didn't allow early submission and her phone had been confiscated, Lela felt bored. Coupled with the wild sex last night, she decided to rest her head on the desk.

Lela thought, 'So tired! Last night is really exhausting!'

Charley, sitting diagonally to Lela's right, looked up and saw Lela sleeping on her desk. He really wanted to take a picture and show it to Sylvester.

The students nearby saw Lela sleeping and couldn't help but twitch their mouths.

Someone muttered, 'Lela, aren't you supposed to lead us in Class 12J to defeat Class 12A? Why are you sleeping now?'

In the subject of reading comprehension, no one was particularly fast. Many top students barely finished on time.

Dorothy sat at the podium, looking at Lela sleeping on her desk, with a disdainful smile.

As if she hadn't had enough, Dorothy tugged at Nora standing next to her. "Nora, look! Do you still think I was being too harsh?"

Nora looked at Lela, a trace of worry flashing in her eyes. Could Lela be sick and feeling unwell, which is why she's sleeping?

Nora had come to Greafury City to teach just to get closer to someone she cared about. Before teaching, she had studied medicine, so she naturally considered whether Lela's sleepiness was due to illness.

Thinking of this, Nora quickly walked over.

Nora reached out and gently shook Lela, softly  said, "Lela, are you feeling unwell? Can you tell me?"

Lela continued to lie down, her consciousness a bit fuzzy. She didn't immediately open her eyes as she used to; she was becoming more like a normal human girl.

Hearing the call in her ear, Lela murmured, "Sylvester, no more. I'm so tired; I want to sleep."

Lela's voice was sweet and a bit slurred.

Nora vaguely heard the words "tired, want to sleep," and realized that Lela wasn't feeling physically unwell. Only then did she feel relieved.

Nora thought, Lela must have been studying hard and got exhausted.

Just as Nora was about to leave, she noticed Lela's handwriting.

Nora was startled, her eyes clearly showing amazement.

Lela's handwriting was the nearly extinct Encia script, with its varied and unique forms.

Nora, who was a vice president of the Central City Calligraphy Association, had extensive research on ancient scripts.

Nora thought, 'The person who taught Lela this script must be very skilled. So, what is the identity of Lela?'
