Chapter 449 Sylvester, Do You Have Another Identity?
Lela checked the time; it was already ten past seven, and the midterm exam started at eight in the morning. She simply wouldn't make it.
Sylvester noticed Lela's worry and pinched her cheek. "Don't worry. With me here, you'll make it. Since you have an exam today, you need to have a good breakfast."
With that, he led Lela to the dining room.
Lela trusted Sylvester and sat down to eat breakfast with peace of mind.
Twenty minutes later, Lela was full.
Sylvester put down his knife and fork, took a sip of water, and looked at Lela. "Are you full?"
Lela nodded obediently. "I'm full. Sylvester, take me to school, or I really won't make it."
There was only half an hour left until the exam.
Three minutes later, Sylvester led Lela onto a helicopter.
Lela blinked, contemplating that she might be the only one attending school by helicopter.
Lela asked, "Sylvester, does Holy Light Elite Academy have a helipad?"
Lela thought, 'How could I have not known?”
Sylvester held Lela, letting her sit on his lap, and hugged her. Hearing this, he laughed. "I donated one."
In the early days, his stronghold was not in Greafury City. Upon his arrival, due to the fact that Holy Light Elite Academy was a private aristocratic school, he feared Charley might be bullied. Therefore, he donated several buildings to the school administration.
The students at Holy Light Elite Academy often undergo military training, so Sylvester simply donated a helipad as well.
Lela nodded. Sylvester was indeed very wealthy.
Actually, Lela had always been puzzled. The Gomez family was indeed a top family in Central City, but now Sylvester had handed over many of the Gomez family affairs to Elvis. The Gomez family was incredibly affluent, but the money wasn't in Sylvester's hands.
Although she knew that Sylvester now had the Grape Casino, Rino Technique, and The Long Beach Bank in Skya Country, she always felt that Sylvester must have other property.
After all, he had given away billions of dollars without hesitation.
Lela touched the dragon-head ring on her chest.
Since Sylvester had given her the dragon-head ring, and because it didn't fit her finger well, Lela had strung it on a chain and wore it around her neck.
The ring's material was very special, not as flashy as a gemstone ring, but exuding a sense of low-key mystery.
Lela was sure that Sylvester's identity was more than just the eldest son of the Gomez family. This ring must have significant meaning to him. So, who exactly was he?
Lela lay in Sylvester's arms, mysteriously and quietly asking, "Sylvester, do you have some secret identity that I don't know about?"
Otherwise, how could the dragon-head ring be explained?
Sylvester raised an eyebrow at her words, looked down at Lela, and smiled. "Why do you suddenly say that?"
Lela lifted her chin. "My intuition is always very accurate."
Sylvester pinched Lela's delicate chin with a doting smile. "Guess, baby. If you guess right, there's a reward."
Lela sighed softly. "I can't fathom."
Back at the Balthazar Auction House, she had already investigated Sylvester thoroughly, but apart from the title of the eldest son of the Gomez family, she couldn't find any other identities related to him. Even hacking into the government network of Pliar Country didn't yield any reliable information.
She only discovered that Sylvester was the behind-the-scenes owner of the Grape Casino, the hidden president of Rino Technique, and the secret holder of The Long Beach Bank after following him.
