Chapter 457 Sylvester Takes Lela to Enjoy Delicious Food

There was still more than an hour before the afternoon exam, so a few people went back to the dorm to rest.

The afternoon exam was math; they went to the classroom early.

The moment the students received their papers, there was indeed a chorus of groans.

The questions for this midterm exam were practically at a hellish level of difficulty. Especially the last question, which was completely beyond the syllabus.

Dorothy sternly said, "Silence! If any of you say another word, I'll treat it as cheating."

Instantly, there was dead silence.

Lela worked quietly, almost without using scratch paper or a calculator, doing everything mentally. She quickly reached the last question, scanned it swiftly, and soon wrote down the solution steps.

After finishing the test, Lela couldn't be bothered to check her papers and just lay down to sleep.

Dorothy looked at Lela with disdain.

Charley was drawing Big White on his paper.

Charles thought, ' Bad Big White always bullies me.'

Charley suddenly looked up and saw Lela put down her pen and lay on the desk to sleep.

Charley and the other students felt very helpless seeing this scene.

After just two subjects, all the students at Holy Light Elite Academy were already in great pain.

On the way, the groans and discussions of 12th-grade students could be heard everywhere.

During the exam period, Holy Light Elite Academy allowed family visits.

Lela took her phone, turned it on, and received a call from Sylvester.

Lela, carrying her backpack, happily answered, "Sylvester."

Sylvester parked his car at the entrance of Holy Light Elite Academy. After dropping Lela off for her exam in the morning, he went to the Pharmacological Research Institute. Seeing that Lela's exam was almost over, he took some time to come out.

Hearing Lela's cheerful voice, Sylvester was overjoyed. Sitting in the back seat of the car, he held his phone with his well-defined hand and chuckled. "Baby, come out! I'll take you to eat something delicious."

"Sylvester, wait for me." With that, Lyla hung up the phone.

Charley, hearing this, was not happy. He whined. "Lela, what are you and Sylvester going to eat? Can I come along?"

He hadn't had a meal with Sylvester and Lela in a long time.

Lela was very generous. "Sure, let's go."

So when they got in the car, Sylvester held Lela and looked at the back of Charley's head with a grim expression. Sylvester frowned. "Baby, why did you bring an extra person?"

Charles thought, 'Damn it! This is so heartbreaking.'

Lela looked up at Sylvester, pursed her lips, and said, "Sylvester, Charley really misses you."

She knew Sylvester cared about Charley, and she also knew how much Charley cared about Sylvester. It's just that men didn't express themselves as well as women do.

Charley, sitting in the front passenger seat, clenched his fists tightly, feeling a wave of emotion.

Charles thought, 'Lela, you're so kind.'

Sylvester raised an eyebrow and then suddenly said, "If he spent as much energy missing me as he did solving more problems, he wouldn't be at the bottom of the class every time. He's so dumb."

Charley said, "Sylvester, I'm your brother."

Mildred, holding the steering wheel, couldn't help but laugh at this.

Sylvester couldn't be bothered with Charley. He lovingly ruffled Lela's hair. "What do you want to eat?"

Charley immediately said, "Eastern Sun Restaurant's food."

Eastern Sun Restaurant was established to the highest national standards, and its chefs were much more sophisticated than those at Michelin-starred restaurants. A plate of Foie Gras there could cost tens of thousands of dollars.

Sylvester shot a cold glance at Charley.

When Charley sensed Sylvester's gloomy eyes in the rearview mirror, he shivered and said softly, "I'll listen... listen to Lela."

Lela didn't mind. "Sylvester, I want to go to Eastern Sun Restaurant."

Charley was moved to tears inside and thought, 'Lela is so kind.'

Meanwhile, Gregory and Zoe came to pick up Susanne.

Susanne walked over and hurriedly urged, "Let's go quickly."

If her rich classmates saw her, they would definitely laugh at her.

Gregory knew Susanne wouldn't accept him for a while, so he just smiled bitterly. "Susanne, where do you want to eat?"

Susanne glanced at Gregory, then raised her chin. "Since you asked, I'll go to Eastern Sun Restaurant."
