Chapter 448 Taking Lela to School

Sylvester had no choice but to carry Lela to wash up, holding her as she washed her face and brushed her teeth. Once Lela saw everything was done, she was about to go out and change clothes. As soon as she took a step, a sharp pain tore through her. She frowned and gasped.

Sylvester noticed and immediately pulled her back, carrying her to the bed and placing her at the foot of it. He said in a deep voice, "Don't move."

With that, he turned and left to get the first aid kit.

On the table beside the bed, the servant had already laid out Lela's school uniform.

Holy Light Elite Academy was a private elite school. The school's uniform exuded a youthful and energetic vibe. The top was a white shirt with a small tie; the bottom was a pleated skirt, paired with white socks and small leather boots.

Because autumn had arrived, the white socks reached up to the knees, and there was a dark blue blazer over the top, matching the pleated skirt. The left chest of the blazer bore the Holy Light Elite Academy emblem.

When Lela saw that Sylvester had left, she began to put on her school uniform. Just as she finished changing, Sylvester came back with the first aid kit.

Lela, dressed in her school uniform and sat at the foot of the bed. Her slender hands tied her thick hair into a high ponytail, revealing her entire youthful face. The curve of her profile was pure and eye-catching.

Sylvester, dressed in a red bathrobe and holding the first aid kit, paused for a moment when he saw her, then he walked over.

Lela then looked up at Sylvester. "Sylvester, I'm ready."

As she spoke, she was about to get down from the foot of the bed.

Sylvester stopped her. "Sit still."

Lela asked, "What?"

Sylvester said, "Applying medicine."

With that, Sylvester opened the first aid kit and took out a cooling ointment.

Lela blushed instinctively. "I can do it myself." She reached out to grab the ointment from Sylvester's hand.

Sylvester, who was standing and putting on sterile gloves, raised his hand to keep the ointment out of her reach. He looked down at Lela and asked, "How are you going to do it yourself?"

Lela took a deep breath. "I can do it myself."

Sylvester looked at Lela and chuckled softly.

He squatted down in front of Lela, looking up at her. "It's not like I haven't applied it before, sweetheart. What are you afraid of? Be good. I'll be quick. Didn't you say you have an exam? Aren't you afraid of being late?"

Five minutes later, Lela, her cheeks flushed, adjusted her skirt and stood up.

Sylvester raised his hand and gently ruffled Lela's hair. "Wait for me. I'll change clothes and go down with you."

Lela said, "Okay."

Sylvester changed quickly. He came out of the walk-in closet wearing a dark blue coat with a white shirt underneath, matching Lela's school uniform. As he walked, he adjusted his expensive watch on his left hand, exuding an air of nobility.

Lela stood up and jumped in place; the medicine was indeed effective.

She ran over and held Sylvester's hand. Sylvester immediately grasped her hand and asked softly, "After applying the medicine, does it still hurt?"

Lela obediently shook her head and then looked up at Sylvester. "You're taking me to school, right?"

Sylvester said, "Yes, I'm taking you to school."

Sylvester's face was full of affection.

Downstairs, the butler was already waiting below. He looked at Lela, who was being held by Sylvester as they descended the stairs. He marveled at the fact that the heir to the Gomez family, Sylvester's fiancée, was still in school.

But today, why did Lela look so out of sorts? The butler was very puzzled.

James, who doted on Lela, had prepared a table full of nutritious breakfast foods that she loved.
