Chapter 455 The Sarcasm of Class 12A

In the cafeteria, they sat down, and Charley directly ordered the most lavish dishes from the kitchen. Eleanor diligently served Lela some food.

As they were eating, Gilbert ran over. "You guys are having a feast without me? Charley, you have no conscience."

Charley was busy eating and didn't even look at Gilbert. "Why do you talk so much nonsense?"

Gilbert sat down without any embarrassment, grabbed a plate from the side, and started eating.

The cafeteria wasn't too crowded, but it wasn't empty either.

Nearby, Susanne was sitting with the people from Class 12A.

The Harrison family's bankruptcy was a big deal in Greafury City.

But the people from Class 12A wisely didn't mention it. After all, Susanne had a good reputation at school. With her good grades and talents, even without the Harrison family, Susanne could still have a bright future through her own efforts. However, although they acted like nothing was wrong, they weren't as close as before, except for some of Susanne's ardent admirers.

Class 12A was discussing the exam, saying that it was much harder than usual this time.

"I might drop in the rankings this time."

"I found it really hard, and I didn't finish some parts. Susanne, did you finish?"

Susanne raised her eyebrows and said, "I finished, but I'm not sure if I got it right."

No one could have known that even the reading comprehension in this midterm exam would be so difficult. All the knowledge points shattered their previous understanding.

The more Class 12A discussed, the more troubled they became, while Class 12J never worried about such things. Class 12J was as happy as ever.

Lela was slowly eating her meal. Hearing Class 12A's conversation, she blinked and looked up at Eleanor and Charley. "Was this exam really that hard?"

Eleanor was eating a shrimp. Hearing this, she slowly raised her head. "Didn't you find the reading comprehension particularly long and hard to understand?"

Eleanor never put much effort into studying. Her grades weren't great; she was in the middle of the pack in the entire grade.

The Salazar family didn't need her to excel, but they also wouldn't allow her to be at the bottom. So Eleanor thought being average was good enough.

Lela calmly responded and nodded. "I didn't find it too hard. I finished it all."

Lela had reviewed everything, whether it was necessary or not. Even when she was studying at The Divine Doctor Association, she found it boring and did a lot of similar questions after flipping through the books. Moreover, she had a photographic memory and excellent comprehension.

Eleanor thought, 'Lela is so cute; I really like Lela.'

Charles thought, 'Lela is so arrogant, but I really like Lela's arrogance. Lela is so impressive. Did she just finish it casually'

Gilbert remembered hearing from other classmates that Lela had slept during the exam.

The people from Class 12A heard Lela's words, looked at each other, and shook their heads, full of disdain.

Someone deliberately mocked, "Some people are just arrogant."

"Of course, ignorant people tend to be more arrogant. Why even point it out?"

Surprisingly, Susanne didn't join in this time. Instead, she smiled slightly at Lela, showing her friendliness.

Then Susanne glanced at the other classmates and smiled. "You guys shouldn't say that. I bet Lela is a hidden genius."

Lela looked at Susanne and raised an eyebrow.
