We slowly approached the pack house, the blizzard covering our tracks and dulling our scents. I was so close to having what I wanted. I had been keeping eyes on Khione for years watching her grow up made me desire more than her powers I wanted her. I was sure Alpha Robert thought he had his son in hand, and he was going to reject her. I was ready to take her but then the little shit claimed her. She was mine and I was going to have her no matter what, she was to be my Queen and no other. Not even my brother’s stupid chosen mate that woman was such a fool. She did any and everything I said without hesitation, so desperate. As soon as I had Khione, I planned on ripping her annoying voice box straight from her throat with my claws.
One of my men was reporting in via mind-link to tell me there were no guards and it looked like everyone was inside for the ceremony.
I thought it was odd that there was no one at the boarders or even surrounding the pack house. I began to hesitate I was about to tell everyone to fall back but that stupid fool Alpha Robert took the men I gave him along with his own running into the pack house. I fell back with the men closest to me we hid in the bushes and watched.
My second said what I was thinking.
“It is way too easy and way too quiet.”
“We thought we were surprising them and trapping them, but it looks like we had it wrong.”

“BITCH! I am here for my Trissy Poo.”
I was so ready to show her that there was no getting rid of me he will be mine. I followed behind my dad and Alpha Robert. We found a lot of the pack in one of the banquet halls, they all turned to look at us whispering. I walked in and found some of the old girls that were my minions.
“Where is she?”
I asked one of them, but they just blinked at me. I walked right up to Tracey one of the closest to me from our little group.
“Tracey tells me where she is?”
“Why are you here? After what you did.”
I realized that my former group of friends were looking at me with disgust.
“What is that supposed to mean?”
“You were arrested for treason are you insane?”
“I am not insane Tristan is mine and I’ll do anything to get him back where he belongs with me.”
“Alpha Tristan has a mate.”
“I’m the Alpha.”
Said Alpha Robert
“Former Alpha and an old fool for coming here.”
Said Tristan. I turned around quickly to see him in a royal blue suit and a cream button down only halfway buttoned. Tall and sexy his muscular body defined in his almost tight suit.
“TRISTAN!”
I ran towards him, but he snarled at me giving me a menacing look.
“I will rip your heart out for trying to kill my Khione.”
I stumbled on my feet as I skid to a stop.
“You don’t mean that.”
“The fuck I don’t you evil bitch.”
“I-I I did it for you.”
“You did it for yourself because you know that you are nothing compared to her in any way.”
“Tristan!”
Alpha Robert yelled.
“Robert.”
He addressed his father so coldly.
“What do you think you are doing boy? You know your place.”
“I do. By Khione’s side.”
Slowly the pack warriors trickled in surrounding us I hadn’t noticed they weren’t already there with the rest of the pack. I looked up at the mezzanine balconies wrapped around the room and there were dragon warriors. Fuck they must be with Prince Jaxton. How were so many here? Looking back at Tristan, I see her and what I am assuming are her other mates. She looks at me and smiles, a shiver runs down my spine at the cold malevolent glint behind her eyes.
“Hello Becca, Alpha Robert. So sweet of you to show up for our celebration.”
“We are here to take back our pack and Tristan. To kill you, you stupid bitch.”
She tilts her head and slowly smiles again.
“Kill me? You truly are clueless.”
“You just don’t know your place neither of you.”
Says Alpha Robert but they just ignore him.
“So, you didn’t realize the first time that none of you are equipped to kill me, a princess, a royal.”
I felt doubt creep up I was so focused on Tristan I didn’t think about that.
“We aren’t going to kill you or try to kill you.”
Says Alpha Robert
“You will be taken to your uncle.”
“Fuck that.”
Said the tallest sexiest man I had ever seen I still loved Tristan, but I could not help taking him all in licking my lips he gave me a dirty look growling in my direction. It made me shiver both in fear and arousal.
“The only place for Khione to go, is back upstairs for her mates to worship her.”
“Did you all really believe you escaped my father’s dungeon without anyone knowing? Did you really think this was an ambush you orchestrated? Did you really think my pack members were feeding you information out of loyalty to you?”
I saw my father and Alpha Robert go stiff and then Khione laughed she laughed like a real belly shaking laugh and her mates chuckled along with her Tristan was laughing just as hard as her.
“You did believe that, oh Goddess how stupid, how foolish.”
She fanned herself coming down from her laughing fit. Alpha Robert shook with anger holding back his shift. Khione stopped immediately, giving him a stern look.
“Down boy!”
Immediately Alpha Robert fell to his knees. My dad and the other men charged them, but our old pack members block our path and fought for her, for her! I see Them standing to the side watching the chaos I make my way to Tristan’s side I don’t make it very close before he growls at me.
“Get away from me.”
“Please Tristan why share her when you can have me all to yourself.”
“I do not want you that is why. Why can’t you get that through your thick skull? I have never wanted you.”
I stomp my foot repeatedly.
“I will never let you go. Do you hear me? NEVER!”
I lunge for Khione, but I don’t make it anywhere near her, the gigantic man grabs me by the neck and flings me back and before I fly backwards into a wall Tristan kicks me sending me flying into my father. I was completely caught off guard. Everything goes black.
