I was slightly surprised when the men I left behind to report back, brought back Alpha Robert and his strays, but I kept a mask of indifference on.
“So, you’re the one who set them free?”
“Yes.”
“And who are you exactly?”
“Tina Rosswell.”
“Not your name who are you in all of this? I can tell immediately you are not of any royal blood or high society.”
“Her dragon mate is my fiancé that bitch stole him.”
“Was.”
“What?”
She asked.
“He was your fiancé. He already marked and mated her clearly; he does not want you.”
“He is MINE!”
I just laugh at her; she is as stupid, as stupid as the other one obsessed with the Alpha’s son.
“You know you are nothing in comparison to my sweet Khione.”
“Excuse you.”
I looked at them both.
“Neither of you come close to her. In beauty, ability, power, bloodline. And you both know it.”
They both scoff
“You Becky thought she was some lowly omega, but she had Tristan before you and for years meanwhile you have had to trick him into even looking at you, how pathetic. And you, the new girl had your fiancé snatched within moments of meeting her. He marked and mated her hours after finding her while still engaged to you and dumped you immediately after. If you two could hold a candle to her, would you be in the predicament, you are in right now?”
“It’s Becca.”
She made a ridiculous face.
“It’s just because of the mate bond.”
Tina said.
“Oh, please like you’ve never heard of mates being rejected for the relationships they were already in.”
“Yeah but…but she’s a witch she probably spelled them.”
Becca stuttered.
“Oh, please that is performed by a sorceress or a blood witch neither of which is Khione. Her mother is a wiccan with lunar magic I do not know what type of witch she is but I know it is not dark or blood. Just accept the fact that you are less than my precious Khione.”
They both give me angry looks.
“Ridiculous”
Alpha Robert mutters.
“It is ridiculous how stupidly you messed up. Making the assumption your beta’s offspring was superior, forcing a wedge between your son and his girl who turned out to be his mate. Not only is she better but you kicked yourself out of the chance of being apart of the royal court and without me all of you would be deteriorating in the King’s dungeon. I know you feel foolish for your unnecessary interference because not only did it make them want each other more. You were absolutely, wholeheartedly wrong about her. Because she is infinitely more powerful than you.”
I could not help but laugh at the room full of dunces I found myself in. But a King needs his pawns, and I will gladly sacrifice them when the time comes. Alpha Robert slumps against the window knowing everything I am saying is true regret written all over his face. Truth be told I never wanted to kill my sweet niece, but I did not want my brother to know of my desires for his daughter I feel like that would have driven him to truly kill me. No, no my brother and family must believe I am after her power only. But it is her that I want. I have been obsessively watching her for years, but my dear brother and his true mate put powerful protections in place. Protections I could not break without harming my Princess Khione. But now she is of age and coming into her own power I can move easier. I so desperately wanted to be her first, but that rotten boy beat me to it. I will taste her I will have her I will be inside of her one way or the other. My Khione will be mine. And I have thought of the perfect plan to get it. The sorceress needs sacrifices for this spell and a have a room full of them I could not help smiling to myself. Just thinking about her made me so rock hard. While they were arguing and discussing strategy, I slipped out into my private quarters releasing myself from my slacks I stroked myself thinking of her. I bit my lip desire overtaking my mind my desperation for her has made insane with need. Right before my release I heard a knock at the door.
“FOR FUCKS SAKE! WHAT?”
“May I come in?”
“No Rita.”
“I could help you.”
“I don’t want you.”
“Since when do you not want me in your bed?”
Since I am closer to having the one, I genuinely wanted now I thought.
“Go away.”
My cock already deflated I throw a lamp in frustration. I hear her huff and stomp away. I was losing my patience.

I was still in shock about how last night played out. How easily he kicked me, how easily he threw me away. The satisfaction on his face as they slapped silver cuffs onto me and dragged me away as I flicked in and out of consciousness. It hurt but I still was not ready to give up. I still wanted him, I still wanted to win. Khione may literally be a princess and one of the most powerful creatures walking but I was made for Tristan, and he was made for me. I have to be his, I have to be his luna. I must show everyone that I am the better one to be by his side and to run the pack. I turned to Tina.
“Thanks for freeing us, for freeing me.”
She nodded and then said.
“We are both in the same boat and I plan on getting my man back I thought it was only fair you do the same and we help each other to get rid of her.”
“Agreed I am more than happy to make her lose more than one of her mates. But we cannot kill her I already tried and now they are mated and marked with a bond ceremony.”
“True so what do we do?”
I move closer and whisper.
“I plan on looking for a sorceress, or a blood witch.”
Her eyes go wide but then she smirks.
“I think I may know where to start.”
