Make It Fast
**ISLA**
“Are you sure Apollo didn’t see Becca?” I asked Zero while I’m fixing myself in front of the mirror.
Zero gazed at me through the mirror. “That’s why you need to go home now.”
I arched my brow. “Huh? We’re still enjoying—”
“You need to go home before Apollo will find out that you two, we’re here. I will tell Becca. So, hurry up and let’s go upstairs,” he uttered which makes me nod my head and glance at my reflection one last time.
When I’m done, we exited the ladies’ restroom and we were lucky enough because no one dared to enter.
“This way,” he headed and walked narrowly and it led us to the stairs. We climbed until we reached the second floor.
“Where’s Apollo then?” I asked.
“At the VIP area near the entrance. Don’t worry, he will not see you because he’s staying at the blind spot,” he said which confuses me but I just nodded after.
“Hey,” Zero called Becca’s attention as we stopped near them.
“What?” Becca replied and was glaring at Zero. “Why are you with my best friend, Zero?” she asked.
When I looked at Zero, he put his hands inside his pocket. “You better get out of this place,” he uttered.
“That’s not the answer to my question, Zero—”
“Don’t be stubborn, Becca. Apollo was downstairs and if he catches you, your friend’s freedom here will be more at stake. So, you better choose—”
“Yeah. Yeah, I get it,” Becca interrupted and stood up. She glances at the blonde guy, who’s busy listening to the conversation. “Nice meeting you. ‘Till next time,” she said and the man just nodded.
I don’t know but why do I feel like the man feared Zero and his expression when he saw him, it seems like they knew each other.
I then went closer to Zero and whispered something, “You know him?” I managed to ask, bravely.
“He’s gay,” he whispered back to me which makes my eyes widen, and gasped in shock.
Becca folded her arms in front of her chest and arched her brow as she looked at Zero, then at me.
“Care to share the things you’re whispering about?” she asked.
I shook my head and flashed a smile. “It’s nothing,” I replied and bite my lower lip not to burst into laughter because of the thing that I’d heard from Zero.
Becca hated gays. So, I don’t know what will be her reaction when she finds out about it.
“Let’s go?” I asked.
“Maybe, you’ll send Isla first at the condo, Zero. I really wanted to enjoy my night and this guy,” Becca winked at the blonde-haired guy, “I enjoy his company. Come and fetch me later.”
“No. You need to go home also—”
“Please?” Becca clasped her palms together.
Zero heaved a deep sigh and I saw how he bite his lower lip. Are we both thinking the same thing?
“Are you sure you want to talk with this guy?” Zero pointed at the man. Becca then nodded.
“Pfft—” Damn! I cursed.
I saw how Becca’s forehead knitted. “Anything funny?” she asked which makes me wave my hand and shake my head.
Zero arched his brow. “I’ll be back. Behave, Becca. And don’t get caught.”
Becca formed a wide smile. “Aye, aye, captain,” she replied and gestured a hand salute.
“Insane,” Zero whispered before turning his back away from Becca’s table.
I looked at Becca, trying to observe her scheme. Why does she need to stay if we can have the ride together?
She winked at me. “Enjoy,” she mouthed.
Great! I am right. She’s really throwing— “Come on, Isla!” Zero uttered as he stopped walking and glanced at me.
I gazed at Becca but she winked at me again. I gulped and looked at him. He arched his brow. I then rushed towards him.
Is this another chance for us? I asked myself.
Does fate give us another moment?
We successfully left the club. Good thing, the entrance is different from its exit. I stand near the lamppost on the street as I wait for Zero to get his car. According to Zero, Apollo will not find his presence because Apollo knew his routine whenever they go for a drink.
It’s kinda hurtful to me that Zero is really fond of sex and will fuck every girl that suits his taste. What if we didn’t meet like this—what if nothing happened to us that night? Then Zero will be inside, banging another woman.
I shook my head.
The important thing now is that Zero already noticed my presence.
I get back to my senses when a red mustang stopped in front of me. Great! What a rich bachelor. I wonder if he already wants to settle—well, in my dreams, a man like Zero hates commitment, and I’m sure of that.
He’s already twenty-eight. Some men will already carry their child at that age but Zero… he’s still here, enjoying the life he wanted.
“Do you have any problem?” Zero broke the thoughts inside my head as we were leading the way to my condo.
I shook my head and my eyes were still fixed in front.
“You’re not talking—”
“I’m like this,” I replied and fake a chuckle.
I gasped when Zero placed his right hand on my left leg. I then glanced at him.
He looked adorable while driving using one hand. I sighed. “I’m fine, really.”
Zero smirked, still eyes on the road. “I don’t think so,” he said. “Do you want some enjoyment?” he added.
I frowned. “Huh?”
Zero glanced at me before gazing back in front. “I said, do you want sex?”
My eyes widened when he asserted that vulgar word. “W-What?”
Zero just smirked and didn’t talk again until we reached my place.
I unbuckle my seatbelt and hop off and he did the same. “Are you not going to fetch Becca?” I asked.
Zero grinned. “We’re going to have sex, right?”
“…”
“Why? You don’t like—”
“No—I mean sure. But let’s just make it fast. Becca might—”
“Don’t worry, she won’t. Come on,” he said and lend his hand. We then walked towards the elevator.
