Chapter 11 - Visiting the rogues

The four girls huddled closer, their whispered conversations filled with detailed plans and contingencies. Trixie’s confidence was infectious, and soon Pia, Sheryl, and Eliza found themselves fully committed to the scheme.
"We'll need to be discreet," Pia said, her mind already racing with possibilities. "We can't afford any slip-ups."
"Agreed," Sheryl added. "We'll have to make sure Giselle's disappearance looks like a rogue attack, nothing more."
Eliza nodded, her earlier hesitation replaced by determination. "And we'll need to keep an eye on Shane. We can't let him suspect anything."
Trixie smiled, a cold, calculating expression. "Leave Shane to me. I'll make sure he's too distracted to suspect a thing. Once Giselle is gone, I'll be there to comfort him, to support him. He'll see that I'm the perfect choice for Luna."
The girls spent hours plotting, their excitement growing with each passing minute. They discussed every detail, every possible scenario, ensuring that their plan was foolproof. As the night wore on, their confidence solidified, and they were more determined than ever to see their plan succeed.
By the time they finally parted ways, each girl felt a sense of purpose and anticipation. They knew the risks were high, but the rewards were too great to ignore. Power, prestige, and influence awaited them, and they were willing to do whatever it took to achieve their goals.
Trixie lay in bed that night, her mind racing with thoughts of the future. She imagined herself as Luna, standing beside Shane, her friends' families elevated to positions of power. It was a vision she was determined to make a reality, no matter the cost.
Trixie left early the next morning, a determined glint in her eyes. Pia, Sheryl, and Eliza accompanied her, the four of them packed into Trixie's sleek, dark car. They drove in tense silence, the weight of their plan pressing down on them. The sun was barely up, casting long shadows on the deserted road they traveled.
They finally arrived at a secluded spot deep in the forest. Trixie parked the car and took a moment to look around, scanning the area for any signs of movement. The place was eerily quiet, save for the occasional rustle of leaves in the breeze. Satisfied that they were alone, she stepped out of the car, motioning for the others to follow.
Pia, Sheryl, and Eliza exited the vehicle, their anxiety evident in their hesitant movements. They huddled close together, glancing around nervously as they trailed behind Trixie.
"Is this the place?" Pia asked, her voice barely above a whisper.
Trixie nodded, her expression serious. "Yes, this is where the rogues agreed to meet us."
Sheryl shivered, wrapping her arms around herself. "I don't like this. It feels... dangerous."
Eliza glanced at Trixie, her eyes wide with fear. "Are you sure about this, Trixie? What if something goes wrong?"
Trixie turned to face them, her gaze steady. "Nothing will go wrong if we stick to the plan. The rogues know what they're supposed to do. They won't cross me."
Despite her confident words, Pia, Sheryl, and Eliza remained uneasy. They followed Trixie through the dense underbrush, the forest growing darker and more foreboding with each step.
As they walked through the dense forest, the morning light barely filtering through the thick canopy of trees, Pia turned to Trixie with a puzzled expression. "How the hell do you have a connection with the rogues, Trixie?" she asked, her voice tinged with both curiosity and suspicion.
Trixie glanced away, her face betraying a flicker of unease. "It was just an accident," she muttered, trying to brush off the question.
Sheryl and Eliza exchanged worried glances. "We hope the rogues won't hurt us," Sheryl said softly, her fear evident.
"Don't worry," Trixie replied, her tone firm. "The rogue leader is the one we’ll be talking to. No other rogues will get the chance to hurt us."
Eliza nodded, but the apprehension in her eyes didn’t fade. "Are you sure about this, Trixie? This is dangerous. What if something goes wrong?"
Trixie sighed, stopping to face her friends. "Listen, I know it's risky, but we've come too far to turn back now. The rogue leader and I have an understanding. He needs the money, and we need Giselle out of the way. It’s a mutually beneficial arrangement."
Pia shook her head, her expression conflicted. "I still can't believe we're doing this. It feels... wrong."
"It's for the best," Trixie insisted. "Once Giselle is gone, Shane will have no choice but to choose me. And when I become Luna, our families will gain the power and influence we deserve."
The path they were on grew narrower, the trees pressing in from all sides. The forest seemed to grow darker as they moved deeper into rogue territory. Each step felt heavier, the weight of their plan pressing down on them.
After a while, they reached a small clearing where a group of rough-looking men stood waiting. The rogues were a menacing sight, their eyes sharp and calculating. Trixie took a deep breath and stepped forward, her friends following closely behind.
The leader of the rogues, a tall man with a scar running down his cheek, approached them. His presence was intimidating, but Trixie stood her ground. "Trixie, What are you doing here?" he asked, his voice rough with suspicion.
Trixie squared her shoulders, meeting his gaze head-on. "We need to talk, Jack," she said, her tone firm.
Jack glanced at the three women behind Trixie, his expression unreadable. "Who are they?" he asked, his eyes lingering on them with a hint of curiosity.
Trixie waved a dismissive hand. "Don’t mind them. They’re just here to witness," she replied, eager to move the conversation along.
Jack nodded, his attention returning to Trixie. "So, what do you want?"
Trixie's frustration boiled over, her voice tinged with anger. "Alpha Shane has chosen a human to be his wife and future Luna," she said, her tone dripping with disdain.
Jack raised an eyebrow. "And what do you want me to do about it?"
Trixie clenched her fists, her nails digging into her palms. "I want you to abduct this human and ask for ransom. But even if we get the money, I want her eliminated," she said, her voice cold and determined.
