Chapter 27 - No idea
Trixie fumed as she stormed out of the Silver Stone Moon Pack mansion, her frustration evident in the tense set of her jaw and the fiery glint in her eyes. She couldn't believe that Alpha Shane had reacted so harshly to her revelation about the Moon Goddess to Giselle, their fellow pack member. With a scowl etched across her features, she marched towards her car, her steps heavy with indignation.
As she slid into the driver's seat and slammed the door shut, Trixie grabbed her phone and dialed her friend Eliza's number. She needed to vent her frustrations, and Eliza was always a sympathetic ear.
Eliza's voice crackled through the speakerphone as Trixie held the phone to her ear. "Hey, Trixie, what's up?" Eliza's tone was filled with concern, sensing the turmoil in her friend's voice.
"Trixie, you there? What happened?" Eliza prodded gently when Trixie remained silent for a moment.
Trixie took a deep breath, trying to calm the storm of emotions swirling within her. "You won't believe what just happened," she began, her voice laced with frustration. "I told Giselle about the Moon Goddess, you know, just trying to share something important with her. But before I knew it, Alpha Shane was on my case, demanding that I leave the mansion."
Eliza's gasp of surprise echoed through the line. "What? Why would he do that?" she exclaimed, her disbelief mirroring Trixie's own.
Trixie's grip tightened on the steering wheel as she recounted the confrontation with Alpha Shane. "He made it clear that he didn't want Giselle to know about the Moon Goddess, like it was some big secret or something. And then he practically kicked me out of there, like I was some kind of troublemaker."
"That's ridiculous," Eliza scoffed indignantly. "You were just trying to help Giselle understand her heritage. Alpha Shane shouldn't have reacted like that."
"I know, right?" Trixie agreed, her frustration mounting with each passing second. "It's like he's trying to keep us in the dark about something important, and I don't like it one bit."
Eliza's mischievous grin widened as she bounced ideas off Trixie. "What if we tell Elder Ian and Elder Lyndon about Giselle not knowing about the Moon Goddess?" she suggested eagerly. "They could inform the pack, and Giselle would be left in the dark."
Trixie's frown deepened as she contemplated Eliza's proposal. "Hmm, that could work," she mused, her mind whirling with the possibilities. "If the elders spread the word, the pack would definitely be dissatisfied with Giselle."
Eliza's giggle bubbled forth at the thought of the chaos they could cause. "Exactly!" she exclaimed, her excitement palpable. "Imagine the looks on everyone's faces when they find out Giselle has been kept in the dark about such an important aspect of our heritage."
Trixie's lips twisted into a smirk as she pictured the scene unfolding in her mind. "It would definitely shake things up around here," she agreed, her tone tinged with anticipation. "And maybe it would make Alpha Shane realize that keeping secrets from the pack isn't such a smart move after all."
Eliza nodded eagerly, her eyes gleaming with mischief. "Plus, it would show Giselle just how little Alpha Shane trusts her," she added, her voice laced with satisfaction. "He can't expect her to lead the pack if he's keeping her in the dark about something as significant as the Moon Goddess."
Trixie's smirk widened into a grin as she turned her attention back to the road. "You're right, Eliza," she agreed, feeling a surge of determination coursing through her veins. "We'll talk to Elder Ian and Elder Lyndon as soon as possible and set our plan in motion."
Eliza's grin mirrored Trixie's own as she nodded enthusiastically. "Sounds like a plan," she said, her excitement palpable. "Let's show Alpha Shane and the rest of the pack that we won't stand for being kept in the dark."
“I'm heading out now, so I'll swing by your place first before we go see the elders," she said, her voice tinged with urgency.
Eliza's response came quickly, her tone eager. "Sounds good, Trixie. I'll be waiting for you," she replied, the excitement evident in her voice. "We've got to make sure we get this plan in motion as soon as possible."
Trixie nodded, even though Eliza couldn't see her. "Exactly. The sooner we talk to the elders, the sooner we can start stirring things up," she agreed, her mind already racing with thoughts of the chaos they could cause.
With a final assurance from Eliza that she would be ready and waiting, Trixie ended the call and focused her attention back on the road ahead. As she drove, her mind buzzed with anticipation for the conversation they were about to have with the elders. She knew that their plan had the potential to shake the pack to its core, and she was eager to see it through to the end.
Finally, Trixie arrived at Eliza's house and parked her car in the driveway. She quickly made her way to the front door, her heart pounding with excitement. When Eliza opened the door, a wide grin spread across her face. "Ready to do this?" she asked, her eyes shining with determination.
Trixie returned Eliza's grin, feeling a surge of adrenaline coursing through her veins. "Absolutely," she replied, her voice filled with confidence. "Let's go talk to the elders and set our plan in motion."
Together, Trixie and Eliza set off towards the elders' residence, their steps purposeful and determined. As they walked, they discussed their strategy, fine-tuning their approach and ensuring that they were fully prepared for the conversation ahead. With each passing moment, their excitement grew, knowing that they were on the cusp of making a significant impact on the pack.
As they reached the elders' house, Trixie took a deep breath, steeling herself for the task ahead. With Eliza by her side, she knew that they were unstoppable. Together, they would bring about the change they desired and show Alpha Shane and the rest of the pack that they were not to be underestimated.
