Chapter Seven

Lelani woke up covered by the warmth of the wool blankets sprawled along Montai’s bed. Sunrise beaming through the window beating against her flawless nude skin. Where was Montai? She thought to herself. Slowly standing from the bed wrapped in nothing but the blanket. Concerned due to how quiet it was. His grand door slowly opened as it did the night before when she walked the hall to the dining room. However, there was no one around. No laughter or the soft sounds of clattered dishes.

The fingertips from her left hand grazed along the hallway walls while her right hand clutched the blanket covering her modesty. As she walked further down the hall and through the dining room she reached what seemed to be the back of the castle. Wide eyes filled with tears and were stricken with sorrow when she saw what was in front of her. The lands of Nakuru were barren. No grass or trees. No flowers or birds chirping. Just a hot dry desert with no sand. Not even the trace of one ant. What had happened to her home. She should be looking at a maze right now. A green maze of flowers with birds flying. This hidden world should be an island but instead came off as a wasteland.

Her feet were bare as she took one step from the chestnut stairs to the dry brittle dirt that was land.

*Lelani, Queen of Nakuru Island, The Enchanter & Heir of Four Elements *

That was the title she was given during the wedding ceremony and when she left the lands the magic went with her. However, she was home now and as she took her first step small green vines began to sprout from the dirt and gently wrap around her. Tickling her feet causing her to giggle. No hesitation as she went to place another foot on the ground and on the impact the land flourished.

Dry cracked bits of earth were replaced with rich soft soil. From the soil, there were deep healthy shades of dark green grass. From the grass, there were trees and flowers. Massive sequoia trees took over more than seventy-five percent of the island. Providing oxygen and a cool permanent shade from the sun. Throughout the island were small treasures of nature. Areas with cherry blossoms, pink rivers, and cherry trees.

Another hidden spot with willow trees and clear water. Small magical ponds of pearly marble colors. The sky turned from a light blue to a beautiful pastel shade of colors. Like a sunset that never ended. Full fluffy white clouds. Every breath you took in was fresh. A range of flower patches from roses, sunflowers, hamaris, and dahlias. The bees buzzed, birds began to sing. The animals coming out from hiding in the darkness taking a step out into the light she provided.

Rainbows began to pop up and butterflies and fairies flew alongside Lelani. Tickly her cheek and running through her hair. She laughed still clutching the blanket when she heard a familiar voice. “Lelani, my love.” Montai spoke coming from inside the castle. No shirt, plain jeans, and no shoes. Her eyes filled with tears as she wrapped herself around him. Bare skin chest to chest. She remembered everything. She remembered him.

Lelani pressing her ear against his chest as she listed to the rhythm of his heartbeat.

To know that she remembered him was more than Montai could hope for as his arms snaked around her. Wrapping her in the blanket once he realized she was nude and pulling her close. Looking around at the wonder she had just created. His view passing the garden and further into the distance. She had given all of the Nakuru lands life once more. His paranormal hearing could hear the fish in the creek. The flapping of bird’s wings. He could even hear the rustling of four-legged creatures as they came out from their caves.

Turning his gaze to look down at the love of his wife. Cupping her chin and pulling her close. “Now that the Queen and heir of the four elements is home our lands can heal. Magical beings hiding in other realms can return here for peace. We could be the kingdom we once were.”

One of his hands sliding underneath the blanket. His middle and pointer finger slowly sliding through her sex and in between her walls. He watched her reaction intently. The way she sucked in a breath before biting her lips. Her small dainty hands pressed against my chest. Her moans. It drove Montai mad with a pang of deep hunger for her. Ready for a round two as he growled nipping at her neck. “My love. My Lelani. I will never let you go.” The movements with his finger started to go faster and her moan broke into heavy breathing. Montai was about to rip the blanket from her and throw her to the ground when he heard a faint sound of someone clearing their throat.

He was going to ignore the sound but it was followed by a shriek from Lelani and a slap across Montai’s face. A snarl escaping him but when he noticed who it was he quickly tightened up too. His father, all the elder chiefs, and his Lycan brothers. All standing by the door entrance. Kids quickly running out brushing past Lelani to play in the grass they had never seen before. Lelani tucking herself behind Montai nude underneath the bedding. The elders seemed to have held a calm blank composure. While Montai’s brothers simply laughed and smirked. Happy for Montai but still giving him a hard time. His father glanced from him to the woman still trying to catch her breath from the bit of excitement her son had been showing her.

It was clear to him they still needed time together.

“Take her where I once took your mother. With magic restored it should look just as lovely as she once did may she rest in peace. You have three days to yourself and then it’s time to get to work. Fill each other in on everything because when you return you will return rulers of this land.”

With that, his father nodded and gave a small bow. The remaining members followed in pursuit bringing the children inside leaving Montai and Lelani alone once more. A devious look of lust on his face as he hoisted her up. Wrapping her legs around his waist and walking with her further into the garden. Nipping at her chest, her neck, and her nipples. Her moans arousing him causing his member to grow between his legs. A dark need of hunger in his voice as he whispered I need you before ripping the blanket away from her.
